✓ Beautifully Crafted 3D point and click puzzlerI have played most of the games from this developer as a big fan of the point and click genre. On the the whole they get things right. Some puzzles are little left field to suss the solution but it all works and they have even woven story elements in. The change to 3D in this instalment is very impressive though. Although a much shorter game (no doubt due to the hours involved in making) the design is beautiful and the movements seamless. It takes some getting used to but when you have got the hang of it is a very pleasurable gaming experience. Minimal ads between levels are also a selling point as opposed to others in the genre where there is an ad a click. My only disappointment was that I completes it so quickly. ✓ What’s the point of Room 4 ending…Spent about 100min on this game. Generally I like it. Very nice graphics, good music, and relaxing puzzles. I don’t mind the slow animations as they allowed me to appreciate all the details. The Chinese calligraphy characters are legit and fit the setting. One thing I don’t get is the last scene of Room 4 where we see the photo. I thought it’s related to Room 5 but it’s not. Maybe it’s related to other games from the same developer? Each puzzle results in a long cutscene, which would make a little more since if the puzzles weren’t so easy. I really like the atmosphere, and there was really only one “hidden” required part. Another thing to note is that the game is free, but rather than plaster it with pop-ups they wait until you enter the next area to show an ad, which I think is a good way of integrating monetization. ✓ Good game, but….Good game. I like the challenges. The only thing I don’t like is how SLOW the transitions are. When things move and something else opens up, when a character moves from one place to the next while waiting for paths to change, when one house is completed and it takes you inside, has you slooowwwwly climb up the statue, then takes an eternity leaving the house to pan back to the front of the house for the next move. It’s all at a snails pace and it drives me insane. The only reason I’m going to finish it is bc I can’t start something and not finish. It is beautifully designed and you can tell the developers put a lot of love into it. There are two puzzles in the third level that are frustrating and may be deserving of a skip (if you are impatient like me) but the rest of the game are purely logic based so do not abandon due to the two puzzles. I had no problem spending $1.99 for a few hints. (There was a spot in the second level where the game was not responding when I was trying to place something in the right place and I used a hint). I don’t usually give reviews but I love escape/logic games and was thrilled to find this one. In fact, the only complaint I have is that some of the animations, such as when you complete a puzzle, are a bit long, slow and drawn out. I don’t think so. The transitions between solving a puzzle and the game taking you to the next step were painfully slow at times, I heard myself saying “hurry up” a few times and it probably took up a lot of the game time. No dialogue or clues to what you are supposed to do and no real story but I had an idea from playing similar games which helped. ✓ Not bad … butA few nit picks … animation sequences were really slow (e.g. things rising after completing a puzzle). Puzzles were not too difficult, however sometimes difficult to discern mechanics. One puzzle I figured out that pieces could move in and out from a circle. However it was impossible to figure out what to do with that information. Finally, after some pixel hunting, discovered there was a button in the middle of the circle. Some puzzles were wide and required to see both sides, however one side was partially covered by toolbox on right side of screen. As usual with these types of games, sometimes the screen swiping gets confused with object manipulation. Finally, you have to approach objects EXACTLY the way they want you to. In one room, I knew I had to place a bell on a building away from a table. I could see the building from several views, but I could not zoom in. Finally discovered I had to pinch all the way out and then zoom in from a certain angle. All in all a good game, even with those minor flaws … and it’s FREE!.Version: 1.0.1

Since I really enjoy 3D puzzles like this, I decided to give it a go. The graphics are beautiful, and you don’t need to an esoteric genius to solve them so it’s very relaxing to play. Although the game doesn’t pop an Ad up every other move you make like other games do, I still prefer a one-time purchase puzzle game with a bit more depth and storyline. ✓ Fun but room for improvementThis game is mostly fun and rewarding, but a couple things are frustrating. First and foremost, the animations are long and sllllooowwww. I get that the graphics team worked hard but I don’t need a full minute panning over a model rooftop. ✓ Great graphics, slow cut scenes, no end sequenceThis is a great game to pass some time, beautiful graphics. Puzzles were relatively easy, not too easy to be boring, but not super challenging. The only frustrations were that the cut scenes were very slow, for example, when you finished a challenge, you had to wait and watch a sequence of things like towers expanding or walls building, and those were slow. Not really a problem because still enjoyable. The frustrating thing was at the culmination of the game, there was no end sequence. I actually thought it crashed so I started the last chapter over, only to see the same thing. Just after puzzle, you see a little movement and then you’re back to the main menu. Two things to change would be to have a little more separation between the puzzle piece interaction, and the view angle. It was often annoying trying to move a piece and either moving it in the wrong direction which killed my move or, tilting the puzzle view and making the move more difficult. ✓ Pretty good so far.Just finished the first two levels I think and it’s been entertaining. Not horribly difficult but helps pass the time. A couple puzzles had me stumped for a bit but they were solved eventually without restoring to hints. It’s well done with the graphics so we’ll see how it goes from here. Well I think I’ve complete the game but not sure at this point. There were a few places where I had absolutely no idea what the object of the puzzle was. At one point I believe I hit the “hint” button and it solved the puzzle for me, but I had no idea how it was supposed to go. The puzzle with the siege tower was baffling in that the tower wouldn’t always turn the way you wanted and you’d get shot and have to start over. Not sure if this was a glitch or a design element, but it was extremely frustrating. Almost gave up at that point. It’s a graphically excellent game and challenging play, but as I said before, I have no idea if I’ve actually completed the game. ✓ Beautiful, but easyThis game had great graphics, but it’s easy enough to do in an afternoon. There aren’t many puzzle types - probably 4 Or 5 or so, and then they are the same. It would be a great introduction to escape rooms. Other than that, it can be a little glitchy - when using an item out of storage it is sometimes not recognized by it’s destination. There were a couple I knew were correct and finally gave up and used a hint, which put it exactly where I had been trying to put it. I also couldn’t figure out how to save a room, and had to start each one over when I went back to the game - a royal pain if you are almost done with that room. Ant the parts where you’re just watching things move into place go WAY too slow. It’s like trying to watch a sloth climb a tree without giving up and walking away. My message to the creators is that the basic structure, concept and look of the game is really cool.
