✓ Terrible compared to the othersI played the first 2 simulacra games and they had really out done themselves I was so so impressed, I loved every minute they were so cleverly made and utterly gripping. When I heard there was going to be a 3rd one I was over the moon but I did set my expectations a little lower as I knew with things like this it’s always that the first or second version are masterpieces and then by the third the company has run out of ideas, but I never imagined this. The story was lost in this version, it wasn’t gripping, they pretty much told you the story line and all the twists in the first half an hour which made me just want to stop playing it. It was ridiculously hard when it came to the puzzles which made it not fun and frankly just quite frustrating It was nothing like the other games where the puzzles were challenging but were doable and also interesting. I found the story line boring as well and uninteresting, I thought the point of these games was that they were quite scary, this one was just boring. By the end of the game I was so frustrated because I couldn’t figure out what to do and it was so DAMN difficult! I watched so many tutorials until I finally finished the game and after I finished it I just felt like I wasted my time because all it had caused me was stress. So yeah, quite disappointing considering how amazing the first 2 were. The only thing I did like was the way the made the town part of it as we have no idea where the first 2 are meant to be set so this give it more of a story but nonetheless I really didn’t like it and it’s a shame because I feel like it could have been so good.Willow46272Version: 11.89.1

✓ Frustrated with game not saving progressI wrote a review about this almost a month ago and the issue persists, I can’t even play this game until it gets fixed because I keep having to solve the same puzzles over and over when it loses my progress and it’s getting so frustrating and hard to remember where I am or what I have or have not yet done. Guess I’ll be wait for another update and hope they fix the issue. I sent a message to the app creators through their website and never heard back. Disappointing because I adore these games and I was thrilled to see there was a new one.Chococat900Version: 6.47.1

✓ Buggy videoI want to like this game, but every time I go to click on a video to play it boots me out of the game and I have to start over again. ✓ Hoping for a Simulacra 4This installment of the series was pretty mediocre compared to the first two so in this review im going to list some things i liked and some things i didn't like: so to start with what i liked, i loved the used of the ATLAS system, although a bit tricky at first. I learned how to master it quick. I liked the relationship between Ruby and the MC, the video calling system was a good idea but could have used some polish. Here is what i didn’t like: some of the puzzles were a bit out of my range and i had to consult a walkthrough twice in my first play-through, where normally i would have either once or never checked one. I absolutely loved Pipe Dreams because of how it reminded me of the first game, but in SIM3 you kind of just say things connect some dots, say more things, and boom game end. Overall, a 3.5 out of 5. Not the best Kaigan games has to offer.Mahboi22Version: 8.43.1

✓ Disappointment 😕I loved the other simulacra games a lot so was hoping this one would be just as good, but was disappointed. I haven’t even gotten that far because of how poorly it runs on my device. I’m using an iPhone 13 on the latest version and yet it feels very clunky and buggy, as if I’m trying to run a game from 2012. For example, the “texts” keep freezing and the only way to get it to work again is by restarting the app and going back to the last save point (which is another annoying thing all on its own), trying to zoom in or out of the atlas map just does not work at all because the whole screen completely spasms out, and if I try to scroll up or down on a text conversation, it will “erase” the previous or subsequent messages until I exit the chat and go back in multiple times. I loved how the first simulacra felt. It truly felt like I was on someone else’s phone. It was all completely smooth and well-made without any bugs like this. This one feels really poorly done. I’m not even intrigued by the story, which feels very quickly put together and poorly thought through, but I’m going to keep pushing through because I already paid for it. Overall, a complete disappointment compared to their other amazing games. Think I’ll just go replay the others a few times after this ☹️.RtidupgtuVersion: 11.89.1

✓ Annoying!The game is okay but it’s not as good as some free interactive horror games I’ve played. Small details like the game forcing me to look at new messages that are sending instead of being able to look at older ones is frustrating. ✓ Harder than the other two games.I wanted to play this game because I had played the first one and second one finding them gripping and very enjoyable. Having lighter moments with the jealous boyfriend, dating app boyfriend and the elderly policeman trying to work his phone and posting embarrassing videos accidentally. Entertaining stuff as well as the scary entity of Simularca. I found this game to be harder than the other two games. It’s more serious, has more puzzles and lasts longer in hours trying to finish the game. I wasn’t expecting it to be like it was. ✓ UnderwhelmingI just beat the game, and in previous Simulacra games once you completed the story you would have fast mode (to speed up the texts, so it would be easier to get different endings.) and there is no fast mode for this version? This is making it a drag to obtain the other endings. Also, the game kept crashing while playing, which would make me restart from my last saved point, and news flash, the game takes forever to save your progress. ✓ It’s good butI hate how I can’t progress much further and I’ve seen it happen with my twin we both have to talk to Ruby in different parts of the story but we can’t it says she’s offline. I don’t understand. I looked everywhere and I even looked up a wall through and even the objective mentions to talk to Ruby. Also you need more check points cause I hate restarting the part over and over again. But mainly the ruby part is the issue please fix it. ✓ I love the Simulacra games but…Sorry, developers.. I love the Simulacra series and have played the two so far. Very enjoyable and I really miss the light hearted moments with the other two games. This one feels much more focused and serious, if I’m being honest. I did lose quite a bit of interest halfway through the game but I really liked the camera mechanics and seeing your actions have consequences in real time for Ruby. However, this game is still full of bugs despite it being very early days and my timeline is now stuck on the part of trying to figure out the contact. Thus, being therefore the final clue to unlock ‘The Truth’ unobtainable as I didn’t speak to Carin as I chose to spoke to Damien in my conversation with Ruby. I can’t do anything else and would appreciate a fix as I really want to complete the game! Once bugs and freezing is sorted, my review will change. Thanks much..ItskenzieesmhxoVersion: 11.89.1

✓ Didn’t live up to expectationsThis game is a severe letdown in comparison to the first two games. The characters are very ‘meh,’ it’s a stereotypical ghost story, and it simply drags out for a painfully long amount of time. The story isn’t as complex as they’re trying to make it seem, and it just doesn’t need to last that long. I constantly found myself getting stuck on every little puzzle, and had to rely on a walkthrough more than I ever had with a SIMULACRA game. Every time the game was like “But wait! There’s more!” I groaned in mental pain. I’m being very dramatic about this but this is truly the worst experience I’ve had with a SIMULACRA game. ✓ Changing my original review here…I have to admit, after finishing the game I’m pretty disappointed. It’s in less detail than the others in this franchise, one or two jump scares through the whole game, and the glitchy things that you see in the others are barely there—not to mention there aren’t any Easter eggs. The story was really interesting but it went downhill quickly. The whole story just dissolves, and honestly the endings (which used to be multiple) are just..blah. If you haven’t played the others, you might like it. To me it’s just half-baked..ImgoingtoscreamVersion: 6.47.1

✓ Not Good. Needs FixingThe game won't save properly. Apparently yo need to go to various checkpoints on the game for it to save.
