✓ QR code not workingQR code is nearly impossible to scan, and without it, this app is useless. Blowing it up on a second device will sometimes work but I think the main problem is poor print quality on the code. Last time support had me use the owner’s phone to activate it but this won’t work if we need to set the max charge lower. ✓ THIS APP IS NOT FOR THE USThe correct app for United States is called Charge Point as well but it has a letter C in the logo. Both are created by the same developer but it does not specify which one to download. This app is for home charging while the correct one is for public charging. ✓ UselessThe app would not work. it had some issue after reading the QR installation code. the useless error message said “something went wrong”. I found the MAC address and password, then input those manually. same error message. now i’m #24 in a phone queue awaiting tech support. why go to the trouble of providing an error message like that..SmpleeVersion: 2.1.0

✓ Total garbageI cannot possibly emphasize enough how poorly written the entire software stack is for the home flex charger. This app in particular is full of bugs. My charger “forgets” its current setting every few months and it takes a good hour or so of just trying and failing to get this absolute dumpster fire of an app to work so I can set the breaker amperage again..Sk1vtVersion: 3.1.1

✓ Installing a Home Charger? - READ THISThis app isn’t required for setting up a charge point home charger anymore. Have the owner download the normal Charge Point app that shows public charger information. There is a tab at the bottom for setting up a new home charger. It took a call to their support line to learn we were using the wrong app the whole time. ✓ You can wipe yourself with the instructionsApparently the instructions for installers provide you a link to this app claiming you can set breaker settings, it’s just a ploy to get you to enter your personal information. The app doesn’t work at all, it is non functional. You can literally wipe yourself with the instructions. ✓ Don't waste your timeThe only part that works is account creation. Scanning the QR code on the front of the home chargepoint device only returned error messages.
