✓ MehIts a great app but whenever I click onto it to open it it says that my sushes are dead. I do think that it would be better if you could have two hearts to fill up the love bar rather than one. as when you fill it up using one if it has low hearts it is still crying and your friend dosent always fill it up so it is then up to you to fill it up which isnt fair. they have the 'ping your friend' thing but that dosent do anything. all my sushes keep on 'exploring new horizons because they dont feel loved' and i might just delete the app because of it..Version: 0.4.0

✓ I HATE THIS FREAKING APP SO MUCH 👿👺👹I understand that your company needs to make money one way or another, but please bring back buying your sush back instead of having to watch ads or sending links to your contacts. Im deleting your app right after writing this review, this has gotten so disappointing. This app used to be a way to connect and create a stronger bond with my friends but atp im sick of it. Its always laggy and the prices of things always increase every time i open your app. All my sushes also keep running away and i am tired of waiting atleast a minute each due to the lagginess of the app. When i first downloaded this app i enjoyed it. It wasnt laggy and was fun, it was something i was willing to spend money on. Now i wont even consider it due to the lack of effort. All my friends and family think this app has gotten horrible too. ✓ Completely broken, unplayableI've had this app for over a year and at first it was absolutely fantastic. It was fun to reach the goals and everything, whatever. I had multiple pets with a lot of different friends, and it worked perfectly fine for the first... year I guess? In recent months though, it's become completely unplayable. We no longer get notifications when our sush are about to die, and on top of that you can no longer revive them with coins. So it's either restart all your hundreds of days of progress or "make more people download our app!" The amount of ads makes my game lag incredibly bad and it's a struggle to even open the app anymore. Trying to change between my sush is an actual nightmare too. It's so, so slow! I can't even delete any of my dead sush because my game lags out and crashes when I click to delete one! And I know it's not a device or storage issue. I've tried redownloading and it doesn't fix it. ✓ Buggy but has potential.Ive been playing this game with most of my friends for about half a year now. I have multiple fully evolved sush, and a bunch more in progress. I want to say I've loved the game, and i do like the idea, but its so buggy. The execution needs work. It seems to have worsened lately. So heres a list of bugs ive noticed. The widget quest does not work so you have to save up the money. Recently when ive bought apparel, it lags, gives the money back, and doesnt let me buy it. Which great, it isnt stealing my money, but when i need all the apparel for a quest, its kind of annoying. Lately, when i try to share my sush for the quest, it isnt registering. I kind of dont want to disclose this one bc i kinda use it, but the miso run has no roof. So if you fly over the pipes, the counter just goes up. No obstacles to dodge. Easy way to farm coins if you want to just tap while watching netflix or something. But still technically not supposed to happen. Otherwise its just very laggy or glitchy at times which is frustrating. I also agree with others that the life drains a bit fast. Especially when its low. The rate it drains is too close to the rate your heart refills. It can be hard to get it back out of the danger lows. Like i said before, i love the concept of the game, and i like raising sushi with my friends, but please just put a bit more work in polishing some things. If i could give halves, i would rate it a 3.5. Maybe 3.75. Its good. Just needs work.Version: 0.4.4

✓ Disappointed (updated)Well my last review was talking about all the bugs which they’ve seen to fix for the most part now so that’s good. But now that that’s all fixed they decided to put in ads don’t we all just love ads like I’ve had this game downloaded for about a year and it’s been all fun and games but now can’t even open the app without an ad popping up. Tryna pet your sush nope gotta watch an ad first want to switch from one sush to another nope gotta watch an ad first. Very disappointing and lameeeeeee and on top of that they took revive out so if you miss a day on accident say goodbye forever cause you can’t buy your sush back anymore. ✓ Privacy issue (read whole review)SUSH makes it incredibly hard to keep your pet, I check in like 5/6 times a day and it already left twice and I haven’t even had this app for more than a week. The notifications are incredibly rude “what’s wrong with you” when you miss taking care of it, “you don’t even deserve the letter” when your SUSH leaves. It’s genuinely off putting how rude it is over the fact that I have a life and can’t care for a fictional pet consistently enough. I got fed up with how the app tries to be quirky by being really mean and how unfair the timer and stuff is, so I went to delete my account. Except pressing the big red “delete account” button doesn’t even work. I restarted my phone, the app, etc. the button simply doesn’t work. That means it’s impossible to deleted your SUSH account. ✓ App used to be good.This app used to be good about a year ago. However, as of recently they’ve decided that it’s going to become a purely monetary app. About a year ago this app had no ads and no in app purchases. As of now, it’s nothing but in app purchases to the point that they literally took away skins that you may have previously owned for your sush in order to turn it into a skin pack that you now have to purchase with real money. For example, for all of my sush I owned all of the skins for the St. Patrick’s day event and yet they have all been taken away all to be turned into a pack. (I still have one of the skins equip but now can’t change it or I’ll lose it forever due to me not being willing to pay money on an app that was once free. I understand they need to make money, and I do like that they have a new ad system that allows players to watch ads to double their coin rewards; However, as it stand currently, this game is headed in a downward trajectory for its old players and possible new players. (For reference my oldest sush is currently 478 days old).Version: 0.32.0

✓ Early Access means not much to the gameI see it’s still being developed, but as some feedback: You should be able to put the sush to bed when you and your friend go to bed, the thing loses way too much health overnight when my friend and I are asleep. Also add features like feeding it some goofy foods or something else to interact with the sushi and not just word prompts for your friend. I know my friend well enough a lot of the prompts are very boring. I don’t want to post pictures, or answer some silly questions. The backgrounds are kind of loud and boisterous, not to mention all of the ones I’ve unlocked are common, but from what I can tell they’re either really basic or very in your face. There are tons of people on Reddit who make backgrounds like that I’m sure would be willing to work with. And to end off I would say implement some variety to the sushi, like tamagotchi randomizes the breed of pet you get. ✓ Cute but it glitches so muchI’ve had this game for months now and it had been fine except for minor glitches until now. This past week it had completely blocked me out and I couldn’t access the app or my sushis. And this week if I give something love that already has a love gauge over the first heart, it immediately drops the gauge back down to the first heart when I press to give it love. Sometimes it will get rid of the sush entirely and I’ll have to use in game money to get it back. It’s very annoying and frustrating to deal with. The people I have sush with also say they’ve been experiencing issues with the app. We can’t be on our phones every 30 mins or less just to make sure everything’s alright. I hope they fix this bug soon because I know some of us were gonna delete it if this persists..Version: 0.4.4
✓ Hard to log inI love this app, there was a time that I was raising 9 sushs at the same time and loving every moment of it, I think it’s a great app to bond even more with friends or boyfriend/girlfriend. The only thing that makes me really annoyed is the log in situation. I changed my number a while ago and never got a response for the email I sent to change number nor was it changed anyway, so when I could connect with the google account I thought it’d be my chance to finally put the app on my new phone and stop using my old one. Wrong. Apparently I can’t log in with a google account on an iOS device (and I believe the opposite can’t be done as well) it just doesn’t make sense, I’m really close to stop using the app at this rate..Version: 0.4.13

✓ I really want for this to be a good gameI believe I have reviewed this once before, but it also seems like the developers made no efforts to fix the love meter timer running out at an unrealistic pace. I’m tired of waking up to my Sush having died again. No matter what I do my sush is dead in the morning, and I have to share to get it back. Until I have at least 100 coins in which case, I have to use that to get my sush back. I can’t save any money, because my sush dies every night and I have to pay for it. I’ve also noticed several times that I don’t actually get to keep most of the coins I collect. It disappears and makes it increasingly more difficult save it up. I really want for this to be a good game, but what I’m seeing is a bit disappointing. I’m gonna keep the game because it’s adorable <3 but I urge the developers to fix these two issues, because it seems like I’m not the only one. ✓ 200+ days and multiple sushIt started off fun and carefree but became glitchier and less appropriate as time went on. Started with my partner and it intrigued my young niece and nephew who wanted to play and stay in touch too. Enjoyed the outfit changes being so in line with popular trends. But, some questions and the poem composer were just uncomfortable. The glitches are ridiculous and never ending it seems. We forgave the ones at the beginning as it’s a young app but the hearts being taken away and sushi’s constantly dying just made the app become burdensome. The last straw was the “Call 911” notification. It’s just not an appropriate alert for a phone app at all. Overall, nice and simple game that was feel good and carefree that just became a nuisance. ✓ Some Quests are Impossible!I’ve been playing this for a few years on and off. Finally got it again about a month and a half ago to do it with my online friend, and we got to day 40 to realize that we needed 200 points in wasabi race. Easy considering I make 40-50 points per game, so I played four games to check how many points I needed left only to realize that it meant 200 in one round. That’s impossible. With how long and fast the snake is programmed to be, the only way we’re getting that is through hacking or cheating the game- and we can’t even skip it because y’all price it at 18k coins. EIGHTEEN THOUSAND COINS. This game is made for kids and teens, but y’all expect us to grind on it for hours daily on tiny mini games we can only play once every five hours or so. At this point it just feels like a scam to make players buy coins because you literally can’t progress past this point. The leaderboard for wasabi race also won’t update- so I can’t even see how many other players have gotten to that point, because I’m stuck at 8 which is the first score I ever got..Version: 0.37.0
✓ A few issuesRaising a sush used to be super fun before the newer updates. Recently it’s been more of a money grab. You get an ad every time you play a game, and some wallpapers and outfits require real life money to obtain. The app lags out a lot and it’ll often crash. Raising a sush with friends is fun, but the amount of times I’ve had to pay 100 coins because it died is insane. We all have our busy lives with school and work and we aren’t able to attend to the sush every hour of the day, causing it to die. I wish there was an option where you could put it to sleep for the night, so that it doesn’t ask for attention when the player is asleep and cannot tend to it. Otherwise the sush will continue to die ruining the experience for everyone. On top of that recently I haven’t even been able to pay 100 coins to bribe the sush back, the game has been making me invite 3 friends or else restart at level 1. I had to restart my sush of 80+ days because I didn’t have anyone to invite. ✓ Mid.I used to really like this game. That was before one of the recent updates. You used to be able to pay 1000 coins to get ur Sush back if it died. Now you have like 4 options. Spend actual money to get em back, watch ads, spend 5,000 coins, or share with friends. I don’t have people I can share the invites to and I do NOT have 5,000 coins to spend each time my sush dies. And watching 3 ads each time is just not something a lot of people wanna sit and do especially when the only reason their sush died is because they have a life. People can’t always be on standby to take care of their sush. I have a busy schedule and so does my partner who I raise a sush with. Our sush dies more than he should bc we don’t live our on phones. ✓ Love it at firstI loved this app. My partner and I used it religiously and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, they are constantly, negatively updating the app. Aside from relatively frequent glitches, prices for items and abilities to skip different challenges were consistently being hiked up by tens of thousands of coins that are unattainable without watching countless ads daily. I understand that the app developers need to enable ads and such, but changing the prices of things within the app became frustrating. What also began to frustrate me was finding several items and wallpapers that we had previously purchased being locked again for repurchase despite our buying it prior. ✓ Love the game but..I really enjoy having these cute sushes to feed and love everyday. I have about eight with all of my friends and it gives us something to laugh about all the time. But.. I'm having trouble reviving my sushes. Sometimes I have busy weeks and don't get to feed the sushes so they end up dying. I haven't had this problem until recently. It's getting really annoying because I'll try to revive them every morning but it doesn't work so they just sit there with the note. I've also had problems with the hearts. Either I'll hit the heart and it all of the sudden gives my sush three (I mean no problem with that😂) or it won't feed my sush a heart at all and then I can't feed them anything for a couple more house (they'll usually end up dead). It was really fun and cute raising a tiny Sushi together :) that was until we got to the point where we couldn’t level it up anymore unless we both had a Sush with multiple different people. It’s a fun option to have more than one but we were hoping to just have the one between the two of us. It was really disappointing finding out we couldn’t level it up anymore. So the game got boring. We had so many coins but not enough things to spend them on. It’s a great idea for an app but I’d like to see it be an OPTION to have more than one Sush with different people. Not a requirement in order to progress farther. Also on another note, making people post a tik tok or follow you on tik tok, just to unlock a cosmetic… is really annoying too. I don’t know. ✓ Cute but definitely needs some workIt’s a cute game and I understand it’s not completed yet but my SUSH keeps dying when I’m asleep. They literally “move away” way too fast. I’ll have been interacting with it most of the day then go to bed and in the morning my SUSH says he’s moved. It should take days of not interacting for it to move away it makes me not want to play it anymore. Also, I don’t like that all the SUSH’s look the same. There’s so many different types of sushi out there why do they all look the same? Another thing is these prompts to message your friends seem to be for people who just met. Half of them don’t work for me to use since i only have SUSH with my boyfriend and my sister both whom I am very close to and the prompts are things like “what was your first impression when you met me” which obviously doesn’t work to use with my younger sister..Version: 0.2.7

✓ It was greatIt used to be great, but with the recent update, it went downhill. It used to allow you to freely share the link or use coins to revive your sushi. Now it’s FORCING you to invite three people directly from contacts. Which I don’t feel comfortable with it having access to my contacts. As well as I don’t have most friends in my contacts. The game has plenty of potential- but there is no reason to “improve” something that was perfect to begin with. I hope they will fix it one day, but for now I won’t be inviting friends again until it is fixed. I had 8 sushi’s and I broke my phone. They “ran away” because my friends don’t have time to be the only ones caring for it all day. And they don’t want to invite via contacts either. So unfortunately this will remain 3 stars. It isn’t a horrible game, it is a fun idle game with friends. But definitely needs more options to do within the game. And the revival needs to be reverted back to previous settings..Version: 0.31.0

✓ Very disturbingThis app was really good, I loved it! But suddenly one of my sush sent me a drawing saying, “Don’t you like it?🔪” That drawing was a child’s drawing, with scribbles, which would’ve made it cute had it not been my sush holding a bloody persons head in one hand, a knife in the other and a comet on fire heading toward earth. Very disturbing, I deleted the app right away, also because my partner had discovered a new costume that was a bloody chainsaw with the eyes of the sush going crazy, blood kinda everywhere on the sush. Can’t believe this happened because everything else is so cute!!! But I got freaked out, because who knows what will happen next? No, thanks, I’ll pass on knowing. ✓ Can we please get a tutorial lolThe game is straight forward however I just found out you can tap/rub him to tickle him for hearts and coins? Confused on if there is a feeding option etc & the question prompts doesn’t really have any mechanics to it like no guessing if you know your friend that well etc. Its mostly just you pick a question you then have to type to answer it which is the same area where you send messages so it doesnt make it feel like your message is part of the game/prompt just another text. Im sure more things will come up with further updates but for now please make a guide/tutorial with what you can do and make the question/prompts actually interactive / there own mechanic..Version: 0.2.8
✓ Disappointing UpdateI would have given this app 4.5/5 stars prior to this last update. It’s been a fun way to connect with my loved ones. HOWEVER, it used to be if your Sush ran away you could use coins to bring them back. That was doable, especially because this would often happen while I was asleep and couldn’t make sure it had enough hearts. Now, the app requires you to share with 3 friends to bring the sush back. That’s so annoying to all parties involved, and very greedy on the app’s part. There were already requirements to share your sush to level it up, which was fine. But now if my sush runs away, I’m not restarting or sharing to bring them back. If all of them run away, guess it will be time to find a different app that isn’t being so desperate..Version: 0.31.0
✓ Loved until the sush sent a disturbing drawingI used to play this with my daughters and loved it. Unfortunately, after today I will be deleting the app as it sent us a message from our sush saying it made a drawing just for us. The picture looked like it was coloured by a kid and it was of a sush with a knife in its hand killing someone and a comet on fire headed towards earth. I did not find this amusing and at first thought my daughter sent this to me. I don’t know why this was sent as it doesn’t seem to fall into place with everything else in the app. Hopefully this isn’t a common thing happening to others..Version: 0.14.0
✓ EhIve had this game for a while, my main Sush is literally 275 days old, and for a while I liked this game, but, most of the recent updates are annoying and make the game not fun, What I like about sush rn is that you can revive your sim in other ways than just coins such as adds, I dont like that you have to pay so many coins to revive them, it used to be way lower and at an achievable number, and now its 5,000 which is not achievable unless you have many sush and a lot of time. I also dont like how fast sush die, its annoying that this game is for kids but you didnt think of the fact that we have school a ton of the day and not everyone can bring devices to school, or use them there so almost every time im at school, my sush dies. Also it seems like a bit of the stuff I spent hours if not weeks getting coins for is locked now, which is annoying and makes the game not fun, also tbh I currently am a single sush parent, the other parent left, so raising the sush is hard enough as if was before, but now its impossible and no longer fun, this game isnt worth my time anymore, likely wont play anymore..Version: 0.34.0

✓ Fun, but could be better.This is a fun game that promotes people to have online chats with funky convo starters but I wish there was more to do with the SUSH itself. All u can do is Tickle it every 3 or so hours, dress it up with minimal decor, change the background and give it 1 heart every couple of hours. Max 2. Very… bare minimum. If the SUSH could play mini games like POU I feel like it would engage more people to play longer. POU also let’s you feed, wash, care for it when it’s sick, and play mini games for coins. All of this can be added to SUSH! Also, your SUSH demands consistent care… a heart a day at least from both people… and it costs a lot of coins (100) if it dies… some people like that and some people don’t. I wish there was an option to turn that off… might also increase people’s chances of downloading and keeping the app. My SUSH died in the first 5 days of downloading… I’d be okay if it got sick or smth but it died cause I’m just not that inspired to keep going..Version: 0.9.0
✓ Starting to get annoyingI love the app, and with my girlfriend we downloaded to take care of a virtual pet for fun. The app was completely smoothed, cleaned, no ads, nothing. With time so much new things were added, and I love them! Nevertheless get more things to do or more outfits or wallpapers in exchange of getting ads… I don’t think it’s a good idea. We chose Sush because we loved it didn’t have ads, or purchases, and I know you need to make any money but as it was before, get an experience without the constantly ask of buy something or every touch I give will show me an ad, it’s frustrating. Now the thing that really messed up my experience. How come that now you cannot ask for your sush and now you must invite friends? Bruh. Maybe we had a long day at classes or work and the less thing we want it’s getting home and seeing that accidentally we didn’t feed our children and now we must ask friends (that we do not even have) to ask one time the sush to come. Don’t get me wrong, I love the app and it was the BEST app to take care of a virtual pet with any friend/couple. Nevertheless it’s getting annoying that with every update the game is slower, things like the vibration of the phone it’s more slow and makes the game slower, or THE ADS, are ruining the experience every time a little more..Version: 0.32.0
✓ DisappearingMost of the time the sushi are okay and work normally but recently my sushi have been having hearts on my account then on my friends it’ll be saying that it’s left and she has to pay for it back, or sometimes i’ll give my sushi hearts and when i go back on the app the hearts have gone but apart from that i like the app a lot.Version: 0.3.0

✓ Loved it but now considering not using it anymoreI understand needing funds to run the app but the most upsetting thing was realizing all the outfits and accessories my partner and i spent saved up coins on are locked again and cannot be used without having to pay for them or some other sort of impossible step. how are you just going to take away the ones we already had? i would understand if they were new collections or apply to new users but why take away things we ALREADY unlocked with coins? could’ve given us the coins back or something if that’s the case… on top of that we can’t get our sush back with coins anymore, only if we invite friends. seriously loved the idea of this app in the beginning but now it’s ridiculous..Version: 0.33.0

✓ Um…It’s a good and fun game to motivate you and a friend or partner to take care of something and watch it grow, me and my girlfriend enjoy it, I have two notes however, coins; they’re really hard to get and yet are necessary to move on in the game… could we have more ways to get them? And secondly, hearts; I’ve had this issue frequently and I even emailed the team (no response) a few days or a week ago… when I give my SUSH hearts instead of filling them it takes them away! This means I have to pay to keep it alive bc all my hearts don’t go into it!!!!.Version: 0.4.0
