✓ To me it is just stressful!Sure there is new so stressful because it’s like parents make you stress but they’re not trying to and then they all say it’s only your first step like my sister taught me a different way how to do things that is so much better than this and it is not stressful it just takes a bit but like it’s not that long you’ll be surprised if you do it so you just print out a picture that you like then go on the back and get a pencil and like dark shade it like completely dark around the whole entire back paper and then whenever you want to draw after you finish you go to the front of the paper then get a different paper put it underneath then lightly do the out lines then you got a out line and like almost every one can shade so you could do the details and you don’t have to worry about outlines.WillywillstersVersion: 1.0.70

✓ Just Started and ALREADY a complaint…I have JUST started using this app literally 5 minutes ago and I already have a problem. This app has a clear preference for people who draw on paper rather than digitally, because the whole ‘AI feedback’ thing just doesn’t work (at least for me) which is a big disappointment as it was the feature I was most exited for. From what I can tell, it doesn’t let you hand in screenshots or downloaded images, which is a BIG issue if that’s the only way you have of getting your drawing into the app. As for the rest of it, I can’t comment seeing as I haven’t gotten their yet, but I gotta say, this is a pretty disappointing start….LunaNinja500Version: 1.0.64

✓ Literally funnels you to one aspect, style, subjectIt tells you to select ATLEAST 3 types of drawing that interest you or ish to improve and then skews which you want to start with, but then says the teachers are working on that “as you read this sentence” please select a different one, and then when I look t the list, they all say unavailable, leaving the least important of my list. Additionally, the “ teacher speaks like a pre school teacher running arts and crafts at a senior living rec room, no need to try so hard to sound like an academic, he was likely a hall monitor every year and maximized his joy when reporting violators of school rules. If you haven’t finished certain parts of the app, don’t inconvenience the user twenty questions,… do what you know and, oh I dunno, shut up and SIMPLY DRAW. ✓ Could’ve been perfectI wanted to get into drawing and found this app early on and fell in love. I was drawing every night and super excited to continue, but then I ran out of courses. I wait a couple months then got back on tonight but nothing has changed. Almost every course says “coming soon”. I expected there to be at least one update to the courses available. Then I read the reviews and saw others have been waiting for over a year and lost all hope. ✓ Forces me to do things that i don’t want to add in my style of cartooning.First of all, the ai ratings make me feel so stupid if I do bad. At least add in an encouraging note on the side or something! Next, it didn’t let me choose my own path. The style I want specifically is a fairly simple style for the sake of my cartoons in like 2050 or something. They made me blend first when I don’t even do blending! Last, the instructions weren’t that specific. When I was still on the lesson about blending, they didn’t show HOW to blend, they showed the style. ✓ Good app, but I had a terrible experience.So, the app is generally great, I had no problems with the app’s content in the like, 15 minutes of my usage, but I could not move on after the sailboat lesson, because I had to take a picture of my work. Now, normally, I would have no problems with that, but my camera is glitched and no longer works, so I could not move on to the next lesson because I HAD to take a picture, which, honestly I think is dumb, and should be optional, for privacy reasons, and I wish there was an option where you could import a photo from your camera roll, or something like that, instead, if you don’t want to take a picture directly. ✓ Needs a better systemPersonally I really like this app and all but I often find that the tutorial is 6 steps ahead of me already when it’s been 30 seconds! I ask for a slow video playback feature with 0.25 to 1.0 speed or more. Another issue is the explaining I find that the tutorial draws stuff without even mentioning it! Or explaining how to do it. For example the lips on the side profile. And more importantly how to shade! This is meant for artists who want to learn and they give no such tutorial! I was most excited about the illustration path. But when I got the app, it only had one path which was the nature which I am not interested in.
