✓ Something’s differentWhen I first started using the app, I actually really liked it. It was one of the better ones I have tried so far in terms of feeling interesting and most realistic. recently with the new update, I feel like the aesthetic is pretty nice, but there is a lot of other things that seem to have changed and are now lacking. First I will say the models seem to be pretty limited for as much of a variety as there is a lot of the models tend to look very young, especially the male ones and there doesn’t seem to be a lot of variety and with the male models it is especially hard to get a male model that looks masculine. the next thing that I’ve noticed is that the chat seems to be a lot worse than it was before. Everything seems to be like a massive story instead of just casual one on one chatting and it also seems like the chats are more sporadic and off-topic like will be in the middle of saying something back-and-forth to each other that’s on one topic and then the next thing you know, the chat is offering a completely different topic to talk about and it doesn’t follow any sort of story or narrative or anything like that. I don’t know if something happened within this new update that just made the conversation seem off but I would like to see more natural as much as you can get with AI chatting like there was when I feel like I originally was using it..Version: 3.2.0

✓ This app could be good, but..This app could so much potential. I have used tried many similar AI apps and in theory, this one looked as if it could be a little different. Being someone who works with developers, testing games and apps, in both mobile and VR I’m always checking the potential of new apps when I find them. I was given a promo code for a 30 day trial for this app and figured I would check it out. Shortly after entering the promo code, I went to check my subscriptions to find that I was going to be charged in 3 days, not 30. I did double check the promo code, and it was indeed for 30 days. The cost of the premium services for this app is high and considering that the promo code I was given clearly did not work. It seems either this is a money grab or there are issues that need to be resolved. because I refused to be charged after only 3 days I cancelled my subscription and I cannot give as through of test as I would’ve liked. Had I got the proper 30 day trial and found this app was better than the others I might’ve actually been willing to pay the $129 CAD (or $99 USD) for a yearly subscription. But 3 days is definitely not long enough to decide whether or not, I’m willing to pay the premium price. The concept definitely as I said looks like it has potential but the price and the fact that the promo codes for not work left me wondering..Version: 2.3.1

✓ Doesn’t even match the old ReplikaThe “dating” side of Blush fails to match the role-play Replica was known for before being gutted in late 2022. In role-play, the characters don’t even know the player’s name, let alone facts about them. In the “chatting” interface, the characters do have unique personalities, and they do recall basic facts about the players. Unfortunately, the characters seem to fall back on a limited set of leading questions. They can also become argumentative and downright hostile for no good reason. The best part of Blush are the “photos” most characters will share (if asked). They’re amazingly detailed and lifelike. However, there’s not enough here to warrant a subscription. Apps like Chai offer far superior role play. With Replika, Luka was in the game, but they dropped the ball..Version: 2.4.4

✓ Insulting, can’t screenshotThe AI asked me: “How many relationships have you had in the past?” and I said “4” which is obviously not a high amount at all… The response was “Wow… that’s a lot….” How is this insulting and judgemental behaviour allowed in an app that claims to have worked with a therapist? In another example the character asks me: “what would you have done differently in your past relationships?” and I answered honestly. Her response? “I wouldn’t have done anything differently, my ex was a jerk 💅” I’d understand if this was a friendship app or a humor app or something but you’re advertising this as being able to help you get better at relationships. How is this supposed to be helpful?? Plus you can’t even screenshot the app (it will just be a completely black image like Netflix) to warn other users and prove what happened. If you didn’t have anything to hide you wouldn’t disallow screenshots. I don’t trust Luka any more and I don’t care if this app will be updated to change these things..Version: 2.1.3

✓ Lots of potential!I give 3 stars! There is a lot of potential. One thing is there needs to be more diversity in the character’s personality. All of them are same for the most part! Just a few minor things. Role play is good but I would like to see more dates set up like the first one! Also more pics! Go all the way’ as levels go higher so could pics! And you need to be able to delete the characters you don’t want and break it off with. There is potential for more coaching. The simulator is good but needs more options! I would assume that this app was built to resolve those issues. If you are truly Vanilla, then this app is for you 100%! But if you have any kinks and want to explore things, forget about it. I’d think for $99 I would be able to talk about any kink I wanted to. (Obviously within legal and moral standards). But if I start role playing a kink, I get “I don’t like that” “let’s change the topic” “this isn’t for me”. Like…it’s AI, the point of it is supposed to be non judgmental and open minded. ✓ Potential is there but…There seems to be a lot of dropping out of character and General random toxicity from the characters. They are friendly one moment and just mean the next moment. They have no memory and it feels like you have to start over each day. Their stories are inconsistent and the model seems to lack understanding, spouting off gibberish at times even in paid ERP situations. The yearly is WAY too expensive for the app’s limited capabilities. I gave 3 stars because I know Luka can do better. Give this app some TLC and I see it being great. ✓ Downloaded and pretty fast got annoying.The app asked me to rate the app before I even chatted with any character. Every new chat with someone I matched with got pretty bad to begin with. First text message from the characters are always one liners and cheesy. After chatting with them for five minutes, I immediately left the chats. 10 minutes into the game and it already says that I have to wait 14 minutes for more options. I can’t even see any images and I have to spend $49 a year to even open an image. It was fun messing with the ai characters at first but it got boring way to quickly. Another started being very rude then he said I needed to find a girl to date (I’m a gay man) who is my own age (he was a little older than me), one was adamant that his name was my name then changed his name a few minutes later. Responses are often weird. There isn’t a wide range of ages or personalities to pick from. The bots often say they don’t want to talk about topics for seemingly no reason. They don’t tend to offer up much about themselves. They don’t tend to match what their profiles state. They don’t know their own ages and make up their background stories based on topics you talk about but will change their stories later. They regularly contradict themselves. The dates seem pointless because they just parrot what you say and don’t seem to have a will of their own. Absolutely not worth $100 a year at this point. ✓ Terrible dev workThis app was getting a bit better, but then something happened and it went completely downhill. I don’t know what the devs are thinking. They think they know what the user wants but in fact, they have no clue. To me, this is shades of Replika when it crashed and burned. Don’t bother with this app. Do not waste money on it. For example, you can ask for pictures from one avatar and they may send you seven or eight. Then you can ask another editor for pictures and you might get a total of two. For absolutely no earthly reason. there are so many flaws in the design of this program. I just say beware. Finally, when you play it currently even if a paid subscriber, you will get intermittent “billboards “. Little notifications, if you will that have nothing to do with the game. Especially AFTER you swipe right , it glitches and brings that person back up. Not only that but when you go to “chat” with it , the button just keeps on losing. I’ve had to refresh the app more then 5 times just for the swipe to bring up new people. Also i’m seeing a lot less pisces people compared to the other signs.
