✓ Poorly executedCouldn’t have a worse app if we asked for it, full of bugs. Can’t even delete sessions to free up storage on my phone..Version: 2.8.3
✓ Whoever wrote the software needs a career changeI have never had a more frustrating piece of software in my life. The MLM2PRO hardware is excellent (minus the crappy Wi-Fi chip), but the buggy mess that is the software of this device makes it literally unusable. I have had to force restart that app and the device multiple times just to get it connect. And then you gotta say a prayer and beg the golf Gods from above to keep it connected long enough to record a few shots. I have used the Wi-Fi access and direct access option and both barely work. And I have 300mbps of internet speed. (Well I’m in my garage so maybe the Wi-Fi chip on the device isn’t strong enough…so I decided to set my phone up and connect directly with the MLM2PRO with 4bars of 5G LTE service and do you think that helped? NO! Connecting with the Awesome Golf app is a nightmare and I got excited because it stayed connected for about 3 hours today with no problem….only to come out 4 hours later to hit some practice shots to have the device not connect, and then connect and only to disconnect right after…or the app to just push you out of menus when connecting. The Dev team needs a restructure in management. This is awful.Version: 2.1.1
✓ Frustrating indoorsOutdoors this seems to work as expected. Indoors it is insanely frustrating to work with. I want to preface this by saying I don’t have the most ideal hitting bay, but I at least meet the 6ft (ball to monitor) and 8 ft (ball to net) requirements. In my garage hitting bay the mlm2 pro only seems to read about one every five to seven shots and of those shots the readings are incredibly inconsistent. The launch monitor has read my sandwedge at 200 + mph ball speeds and 270 + yards of carry on my half swings, which is basically impossible. Some shots seem to be accurate but at this point it is hard to tell..Version: 2.3.7
✓ Just ok… Hope it gets betterFirst, I do appreciate that they are working on the app and improving it. I bought the MLM2PRO right when it came out and it’s had connection issues the entire time. Please allow connection directly through Awesome Golf. being forced to authenticate and connect to both apps every time is cumbersome and it’s frustrating when you have to do it all over again time after Time. So many times I’ve been playing a simulated round and connection drops so often that I just give up messing with it at all. At this point, I don’t play rounds because it’s so unlikely I’ll be able to finish before the connection drops. MLM2PRO could be soo great if the connection issues get fixed.Version: 2.4.4
✓ Can’t even connect to this thingAs others have discovered Rapsodo somehow failed to even get the basics right with this product. I would love to write an actual review but can’t since the product does not connect to any device I’ve tried yet with any sort of stability. Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity is not new technology, they even embed this sort of thing into lights these days yet this $700 product can’t connect to an iPhone. I would give it 0 stars if that was an option. Still waiting a response from Rapsodo on the issue, giving them roughly a week to sort it out then returning..Version: 1.8.4
✓ Keeps CrashingApp keeps crashing on 2 separate IPads and on an iPhone. Never experienced this on an apple product before. When it does work there is often connection issues between the MLM and the device. Has amazing potential but is way to BUGGY at this point to enjoy..Version: 2.3.7
✓ Good app needs a lot of workI like the app and all the data and it seems to run smooth for me but my biggest issue is you have 30,000 courses to play but while using a hit screen and projector the screen will not land scape at all so you’re just looking at a skinny screen, PLEASE FIX THIS! The driving range doesn’t have that issue and honestly it kinda takes away from the experience so I just keep going back to awesome golf because the match play does landscape to full screen..Version: 2.1.1

✓ LandscapeI’ve had good luck with connectivity but, having put a lot of time into my garage “range”, complete with 10’ wide screen and projector, the iPhone app won’t go into landscape mode. That means, on my 10’ screen, only the middle few feet has the image because the app won’t turn from portrait. I got two replies; the first said they’re working on it and the other said it will do it with a tablet. Some of the app’s functions will display in landscape but they are ones I really don’t care how I see them. One would think the range and course play would be what they’d want to concentrate on first. That said, the accuracy is spot on, which is great. I’d just like users to display as they see fit, not how the developers want them to. Kinda maddening..Version: 1.8.4
✓ Buy another launch monitor.This thing is so unreliable it’s useless. When it does connect and stay connected it’s a miracle. Spend more time playing with the brutal software than playing golf. Feels like a total rip off. Zero stars, wish I could get my money back..Version: 2.2.6
✓ Really want to like this device…but can’tCredit to the app team for continuous app updates but the same connection issues persist. Can only get it to work via direct WiFi connection. Trying to use my home WiFi just gives the message “ Please wait for the camera stream to load before hitting your first shot!”. Also there is no easy way to setup the alignment of the device if using a 3rd party app like Awesome Golf. I’m forced to starting a round in the Rapsodo app first. ✓ Dropped connections, poor usabilityThis is the most frustrating piece of consumer hardware I’ve ever used. - the hardware disconnects constantly causing a lot of rework to set up again - the app usability is terrible. EG to start a simple range session takes about 13 clicks and over a minute *if it will even connect* - every time it disconnects you have to do this all over again - the app forces you to keep it open and focused in order to upload videos to the cloud which take forever. Background uploading is a no brainer but not here - setting up your bag and selecting clubs is a huge PitA - if you’re only interested in seeing, say, impact vision for a series of shots you’re forced to click repeatedly over to impact vision on every new shot. The app should maintain which view you used last when going to a new shot - no way to view videos on web even though their baseball type apps support this There have been times I’ve wanted to smash the hardware into pieces. It’s that frustrating. I will say in the rare instances it works well it’s a great piece of technology but unfortunately that been about 20 aggregate minutes in the two months I’ve owned it..Version: 2.2.6
✓ Addressing network issues and an ask to Rapsodo1. The app and thus the MLM is dependent upon a solid network connection. I use a net and a MLM on my iPad in my garage and the experience was terrible until I put a wireless access point in the garage with me. Once that happened performance shot up and the thing was a blast to use. 2. The support for iPad is very welcome but the app’s refusal to support landscape mode and remain fully featured is a miss. Portrait mode as the only supported model is brutal, especially when using the simulator. If Rapsodo could get this corrected not only would the iPad experience be better but the AirPlay possibilities to put the sim up on a tv or a projector would be endless..Version: 2.3.12

But try using 3rd party app it is useless , disconnects continuously , or just won’t connect. ✓ The issue with the impact replayThe issue with the impact replay is driving me crazy. The main reason I bought this simulator was to watch my ball impact replay, but this iPad version of the app, which is supposed to play back the slow motion of the last ball impact, always replays the one before last, and it's infuriating. No matter if I restart the hardware or the app, it doesn't solve the problem. I just want to see the moment of my last shot impact replay, but the app always shows the replay of the shot before last. Please fix this issue..Version: 2.7.3

✓ Connection issuesEven after the updates it is hard to connect or to keep a connection. On 3party apps (Awesome golf) won’t stay connected for more than 10 min and then it just doesn’t reconnect. ✓ Lots to fixConnection issues are the biggest problem. It simply doesn’t work when on the home WiFi and works intermittently when on direct WiFi. Nowhere near as stable as garmin r10. When connection is lost you have to force close it and usually the 3rd part app if you’re using that. E6 connect is the best version of the simulation and it is almost unusable because of connection issues. Takes a long time to get good connection. It usually fails midway through and you need to force close both apps to get it going. This is using direct connect and modifying the WiFi connection to have no restrictions and turning off my home WiFi. With the rapsodo simulator, there is no multiplayer! There is no landscape mode. The courses don’t have any slope data, all lies play the same (rough/fairway), you can be a little off the fairway and it calls you out of bounds. The graphics are very slow and takes too long to get to your next shot. The algorithm on shot roll is pretty off. The range data is pretty good, but no landscape mode. If you’re doing in the non-simulator version, you get better data, but you don’t see the ball flight. No multiplayer. Only 4 stats displayed at a time and nowhere to see all the stats in a chart view. I really wish it worked better because I love what it should be able to do. The pictures of your swing and the ball impact is pretty cool..Version: 2.1.1
✓ Fix the app-unit connectionBugs happens with any new product, and I’m trying to be patient while a fix is made. The app won’t sustain a connection to my MLM 2 unit and when I do get a connection I can’t update the firmware to use it - the app crashes every time. I’m up to date with my iOS version and have tried what Rapsodo’s support team has suggested to others since they haven’t replied to me yet. Bottom line - I’m sure it’ll get fixed but I’m very disappointed in the customer service and the overall launch of a product that was so hyped up by the golf community. Update - it’s been 2 weeks since I got my unit and despite a pretty good first exchange with rapsodo support, I was passed on to someone else who I’m lucky to get a response from within 48 hours. Still doesn’t work, still won’t connect. If rapsodo monitors these reviews please give your customers some kind of update or give us something to keep us from returning your $700 paperweight. Because that’s all it is right now. Update 5/4 - new app version does not work. Customer service/tech support is useless. Rapsodo get your house in order. Shameful..Version: 1.8.9

✓ Great device, bad softwareThe launch monitor works great! I use it mostly indoors and the numbers I get are consistent with the numbers I get on Trackman. The app, though, needs serious work and is a hassle. The alignment system is buggy and often hangs up. The connection system also has a few issues. Frequent error messages in syncing, and looking at the reports from sessions. A good team of developers could quickly turn this into a top product. The only real problem is the premium membership for a sub-optimal system as a result of software bugs. Fix the software and the membership would be a bargain..Version: 2.7.3
✓ Great idea - terrible executionI’ve had the MLM2Pro since it came out and my personal take on it is, you’ll hate it if you use it long enough. I was shocked at the value the first month. There were a few bugs but it was manageable. After many months i absolutely hate it. The dev team constantly roll out features but it has many bugs and they break something new EVERY TIME! Being a software engineer I can tell you this is purely due to incompetence. This typically happens with bad company culture where they have dedicated QA. I decided to check the team out on LinkedIn and what do you know - fully dedicated QA team for testing. With constantly missed shots, app crashing, app freezing, and for the love of GOD WRONG ELEVATION ALL THE TIME, this has become the first product I’ve ever hated to my core. Literally anything is better than this product. Old review: Absolutely fantastic product with a pretty good app. The main pain points is that you have to set the playback speed whenever you change a single setting! This is very annoying since people are using this for swing analyses. Please, make the play back settings part of the global state instead of local . Any changes should be a key value update verses a complete reset. It would be nice to enable editing the club for a recording too! I forgot to change from a 4 hybrid to the driver and it corrupts the dataset. Otherwise, wow - hands down the best value and possibly better than 1-3 k options too..Version: 2.8.3

Device turns from red solid light to blue blinking light. Do I have a local network? Why yes, I have two at both 5.0 and 2.4 GHz available. “No Networks Found”. Weird…. Try to “Establish Direct Connection”? Sure! Connect to MLM2PRO Wi-Fi? Yes! “No MLM2PROs found”…. Still blinking blue light… Make sure your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are available… Kick back to “Connect to MLM2PRO” Cycle device and repeat. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. How did this get past QC?.Version: 1.8.9
✓ Brutal SoftwareWhen the unit works it is very accurate HOWEVER it hardly ever works properly. Software connection is a travesty and the connection with E6 is horrible. ✓ Version Update March, 2024The last two updates have worsened the user experience. In the last two times played, we lost connection 3 times in 9 holes each time. The number of shots missed has not improved. It is nothing for it to miss 3 or 4 shots in a row. We align the hitting area with the camera correctly. We are also finding now when chipping onto the green, the directionality of the shots is impossible to understand at times. The device and app worked better in December before the last two updates. For the price of the product and what it adds to the opportunity to create a more affordable golf simulation package, is now lost in the frustration of the overall user experience. Our contact experience with user support has been good in that you get a response within 24 hours by email, but unfortunately the developers are missing the mark on improving the software application..Version: 2.8.13
✓ Great when it works 1/5th of the timeHoly smokes does this monitor/app combo need serious help. It connects sometimes, and even when it does the connection is glitchy. For 1000cad this is seriously embarrassing for me when I have friends and family over. We line it up, lighting is just right, and it won’t read any shots on its own rapsodo range. I thought the reviews were unjustified, but I get it now. If I could return it I would. The garmin I got for 600 bucks read every shot, even if a little inaccurate. This is a seriously flawed set up and hugely frustrating..Version: 2.4.4
✓ Amazing when it worksOverall, the system is fantastic when it works. The hardware is incredibly accurate and was easy to use. The data output along with the video analysis again are excellent. The connection issues. Keep this from being an absolutely amazing experience. Having built products similar to this in the past, I can’t appreciate the difficulties and having to develop something that connects with so many different devices and variables. Takes lots of patience, as well as lots of testing and unfortunately the app team in this case probably we’re not ready for prime time yet. I take solace in knowing that it is something that is fixable in the long term. I just hope that they get it right soon..Version: 2.0.0
✓ Great device when it works..Wi-Fi like so many have said is the issue that I hope they resolve soon. I can connect to mine but it drops often in every mode. Then you have to go through the reconnection again which takes forever and sometimes it doesn’t find any wifi and you have to restart the app. If you are in a session and want to start a new session you have to reconnect to the WiFi. I don’t understand why the device can’t connect to Wi-Fi automatically when you turn it on and stay coy the whole time. One other issue is the replay, it cuts off the right side of the picture and the impact does pick up very often even when the ball is in the correct spot..Version: 1.8.4

✓ MLM2PRO Connectivity IssuesSame as other reviews have described… I was eager to get the much anticipated MLM2PRO when I was “lucky” enough to order one before they sold out almost immediately on early launch. Unfortunately, the MLM2PRO will not connect to my Wi-Fi (I work from home and have higher tier high speed internet, a high end modem, and mesh router system, with no issues connecting the countless other devices in my home). As a result, this product is virtually useless and non-functioning. I have tried downloading, deleting, and re-downloading the App, along with several other recommended “fixes” I had to search for online. Unfortunately, Rapsodo does not provide phone customer support for golf products, so I’m stuck waiting on an email reply from Rapsodo, after emailing them for help. Meanwhile, this comes with a “free” 1-year premium membership, valued at $199/year after the first year, as part of the overall purchase price, which is wasting days going unused while I wait on support hoping they can get this product to work. Do yourself a favor and wait for them to fix the bugs before purchasing..Version: 1.8.4

✓ Not impressed at allThe odd time it works it works well. When it doesn’t work tend to be the time I actually have to use it for a couple hours. Instead of being able to wack some balls and work on my game. I spend hours trying to connect, trying to get the camera to work, trying to force update the firmware, trying to get the screen from not just loading black, trying to get the camera to unfreeze, emailing support (no matter what time of day I email them I don’t hear back to the next day. Can’t expressed how utterly disappointed I am in my purchase. Buyer beware..Version: 2.8.3
