✓ I’m so boredOkay so the amount of clusters in this game is mathematically impossible! Some clusters are to be expected but this game is only as random as the iPod shuffle! And we all know that was very funny but not random! I have just played 20 hand in a row and the same 3 clusters came out each time! This is not a real deal off cards. I have been playing solitaire since I was 5 years ago and never had the same clusters come out so much I know what card is going to come up before I turn it. ✓ Was good, now has an annoying glitchUp until recently, I would have said this is one of the best apps ever. However, when I play ordinary Solitaire, the cards that are dealt are almost covering each other and it’s very difficult to read their value. ✓ One of my Go To AppsThis was one of my first apps I ever downloaded on the my iPhone 3 and I continue to use it regularly first on my 4, then 5 now on my 6 plus!! That's A LOT of games! Great to play in bed before sleep when the lights are already off for the night. Only thing I would like is more background and card choices and get rid of that stupid error noise that sounds like a kids whoopee cushion! ✓ Great game, Annoying updateI’ve played spider solitaire, 4 suit, avidly for a while now. Latest update has really spoilt it for me. The new placement of the cards has squished them all up the top and it’s really hard to chose the cards you want to move quickly and accurately. And you’ve added some kind of artificial light glare which makes the cards harder to see too. Hope you change it back to easier game play soon. Thanks..DetghyrdvVersion: 7.22

✓ Previous Version was a 5, no moreI LOVED Solitaire City! The ONLY GAME I PLAY is Demon. My absolute fav game! My absolute fav app WAS this one until the latest update. Very frustrated. Now when i play on my iPad Pro 9.7”, in the game you should be able to view the foundation card of each the 4 upper stacks. Now when you select a stack, the foundation cards are partially hidden so that you cannot make out what the card value is! The tool/status bar up top is too low and HIDES most of the foundation cards so you cannot read the card. Very frustrating for someone with memory issues. THANKS!!!!.NolansNanaVersion: 7.21

✓ Bluetooth problemI love everything about this app except that it uses Bluetooth and that feature can’t be turned off. I have a hearing problem so bad that I need hearing aids. All new hearing aids have Bluetooth and it’s impossible to adjust the hearing level when playing this app which makes it impossible to play when kids are yelling or when sitting for a quiet dog. It makes no sense to me for the app to have Bluetooth capability when I’ve turned off the sound but the bug reporting tool hasn’t changed this feature after three years so I’ve changed my rating from 5 to three stars..49595normVersion: 7.12

✓ Not thrilledThe app mostly works okay, and graphics are good, I guess, but there are many annoyances. I had to turn sounds off entirely, because the effects were so childish and annoying, and couldn’t be controlled with a sufficient level of granularity (detail). I certainly don’t want noisemakers every time I win. I also don’t need or want to be told “It looks bad” sometimes when I’m about to lose, nor do I need “cute” messages when I pause a game. The latter two happen even without sound. Basically, I’m not looking for a buddy. I just want it to deal the cards and keep score. More importantly, it freezes sometimes for a few seconds and won’t let me turn over or move any cards. The timer keeps going, though. Sometimes it hangs long enough that I decide to reboot, although not too often. It also sometimes turns two cards when it is supposed to turn one, or turns another card when I’m just trying to drag the top one somewhere. It seems to be misreading my taps. Yes, you can undo these things, but it takes off points for that. I play the game, it has entertainment value, but I don’t love it..IDontNeedNoStupidNicknameVersion: 7.13

✓ Love it!The upgrades have always been good. However, the latest is not. I have an iPhone 11 pro. The resolution of the cards is terrible. The card faces are chunky. Dealing the deck in Spider from the right had always been like that, but moving the completed deck from the left to the right is not good. It gets too confusing when seeing the first completed deck right next to the dealing deck. I have used this app for at least 8 years. Disappointed in this upgrade..RickglidVersion: 7.20

✓ Okay but…Less than half of the games dealt are not even hands that can be played out. I noticed a big change in how the game now deals, opposed to when I first started playing. Less than half of the games dealt are actually winnable. I also noticed that the deals vary greatly from a timed game to a non timed game. For all the people on the statuses of ranking that have all won in (ridiculously just over) one minute are all playing with hacks, so I don’t bother using the timed games anymore. My fastest time is about 2 1/2 minutes and that was making one move right after another so I know it’s literally impossible to win around the one minute mark without cheating. ✓ Quality games, but...The games in this app are high quality, but the only complaint about the app is that the deals become increasingly difficult the more you play the games. When you first start out, the games are reasonably winnable, but the longer you play (ex: a couple hundred hands), the more frustratingly difficult it becomes to win a hand. I have tried deleting the app and redownloading it about a dozen times, and that seems to reset the difficulty back to a reasonable level for a short time, but it doesn't take long before the difficulty becomes frustrating again. The game has a "Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)" that states their deals are "always random", but from my experience with several thousand rounds and about a dozen "delete and redownloads", this pattern seems way too consistent to merely be a coincidence. I will most likely be looking for a new Solitaire app..Andrewman429Version: 7.22

✓ Mixed BagA while back I wrote a review but it got "lost" because "Voice" was taken. All my scores are under " Voice." Great Variety of games and option for more difficult rules. I found as one progresses in skill level, the number of times the messages increase that no more options are available. However, the instructions for some games are poorly written. E.g., " Accordion"....I have played over 100 games and still have not won one. The middle row is hard to see each card...I am playing on a regular size IPad. ✓ Stupid version of this game..Inconsistent scoring and often in the negative scorePretty dumb as many times there are turns with literally no move and often I get all of one number in a hand and then all of another in another. The last game had alllll the aces hiding in one row. And this game the fives were all dealt at the end of the game. This game gave me 7 fives at once but no fours anywhere in the game..... this game gave three turns with literally no moves. ✓ Needs some tweaksI bought this when Free Cell ceased to be compatible with iOS updates and it’s the only game I play. It’s ok, but frustrating. After building up a long winning streak it’s easy to hit ‘end’ by mistake. Most apps ask for confirmation if quitting, this doesn’t, and the winning streak is undone. Also, the option to play the next game should be automatically on-going rather than selected at the end of each game. It’s too easy to miss a game or repeat a game. Further. ✓ BrilliantOf all crosswords I am addicted to this edition. Wonderful for a relaxing hour. I must admit some of the American words are annoying 😊😊😊 I wonder sometimes on the bonus scoring. ✓ Wasted MoneyEnjoyed the app at first. Initially “won” about 50% of the time. After about 10 days (playing multiple times daily) that dropped to 30%. Then after another 10-12 days, no winning at all. Zip. Nada. Nothing. Evidently this app set up is programmed to do that. It appears I’ve wasted the money. And here’s the ripple effect: 1. This “developer” has proven to be non-player oriented. So I’ll clearly avoid any other current/future offerings originating from this “developer”. 2. A shadow is now cast on all other “developers” offering “ad free” games in exchange for a few dollars. Will I buy another “ad fee” game app? No. 3. Think, for a minute, about how many other people who experience this just delete the app and do not take the time to review this kind of “developer” behavior. Hundreds? Thousands? Then spread the word that these types of apps are trash. Ouch! 4. Finally, Apple App Store, take note: Perhaps some fault lies here too for not throughly vetting these “developers” who, on the surface seem alright but in short order are ripping your customers off.
