✓ Wonderful application with amazing supportI've been using eWallet since mid-October now and I've had the chance to exchange a few emails with Ilium Software for various questions I had. eWallet is my favorite password manager on Windows and Windows Mobile and it was amazing to be able to get all my information ported to the iPhone that easily. Also, for professional use, it is an amazing bonus to have an application that respects the FIPS-197 standard. The application is very user-friendly and stable too. Synchronization works very quick and nicely. On top of that, Ilium Software support is amongst the best I've seen. They are extremely responsive and take their reputation at heart. I strongly recommend eWallet to anyone looking for a solid password manager and sensitive information manager, especially if you also want synchronization capability with a Windows based environment. The Mac OS X based desktop application is supposed to be released in the near future, but that should be mentioned in due time. Kudos to Ilium Software!.Version: 8.5.1

✓ Great password keeper!I have used eWallet for several years now. It is truly one of my most important apps. I store all sorts of information within this app. Everything from my family’s personal info, to car registration and insurance info to loads of website links and passwords. The info is not stored in the “cloud” but on my device. I can still keep info updated between multiple devices that I have the eWallet app on by simply syncing them. I can’t tell you how many times I needed a password that I have not used for years and voile, it’s at my fingertips ready to copy and paste. ✓ Still as awesome as it was in 2009I have been using this app since 2009, maybe longer, and it has never let me down. I have used Windows ( classic but not tile version), Mac, iPhone, and iPad versions. It’s as customizable as I could ever want. It took a little longer for me to understand the newer sync process but that’s on me, not Ilium, because it works well. I always compare sync jobs for data errors. I have experimented with a couple of other wallet brands to test feature for feature but still never found anything better or that made me feel more secure. To be fair, I cannot rate the cloud functionality because I do not use it. I am one of those who just doesn’t trust cloud technology to be as secure as it is advertised regardless if you are Ilium, Microsoft, Apple, or any other company. I have dealt with tech support several times regarding minor issues like font styles or sync how-tos and cannot find any reason to complain. I hope they never sell the company because this is how a company should be run. Great product, great service!.Version: 8.7

Suggestion: The ability to select multiple cards to be moved to a folder all at once. Or maybe an “edit” mode where cards and folders can be moved around/organized? I have so many cards, quite a few that have old info, but I don’t want to delete them just yet. I find myself needing to reorganize cards and folders often as I enter new info. Right now it’s a pain to do this. Especially since after a card is moved out of a folder (A) into a different one (B) you are now in folder B and have to find your way back to folder A to continue organizing it. It seems that every little software company tries these days to add itself to your monthly bills. ✓ Great Start - Hoping for Quick and Contiued UpdatesI love the product and would like to see the following enhancements to make it even better. Here are some things that I think will make eWallet even better: 1. Ability to have a setting to search by just Card name instead of everything in the card info or at the very least, put entries that have the search criterai in their title at the top of the search list. 2. Have preferrences and defaults for card types in the Desktop software carry over to the iPhone software (like Default card type and color of card). When I create cards on the iPhone they are a different color than those created in the desktop app. Also it is not easy to find the correct color to change it to when you try to make it consistent. 3. Ability to Change the type of card and have the common fields move over to the new card type. 4 Default colors for card types on the desktop should also be used on the iPhone, when cards are created there. 5. How do you pick the same color for one card that was used for another card? 6. How can you sort by the newest cards that were just added? Sometime I like to check that the cards that were recently entered are complete and consistent with the existing cards. 7. Support for Dark Mode would be nice. I look forward to your next version of eWallet. It is an indispensable application for all of us, which is why we look forward to quick imporvements to these items. Always finding more and more uses for this app. Please do not sell to Microsoft. I wish you would bring back or upgrade List Pro, another fantastic app especially now that Wunderlist is no more. As usual, Microsoft buys, and it immediately goes downhill fast. That complaint on MS was free. My only recommendation is continue to add card templates. Examples, firearms, jewelry, home inventory items like electronics, appliances, etc. I've ask three times in the past 10 yrs to be a beta tester or just to help make better with recommendations but no response, which is fine. ✓ Fabulous password tracker!!I’ve used it since the beginning, when I had to manually sync from work computer to phone and then phone to home computer, through all the versions. Now it syncs all together automatically, if you get it set up correctly through the cloud. And, if you screw it up, because each version has a little different setup and the cloud didn’t exist in the dark ages when I started, their technical staff are very patient, and walk me through it. I track credit cards, magazine subscriptions, website passwords, lock combinations, you name it, I can track it! I highly recommend it..Version: 8.5.1
✓ Stick with a password manager where you control the data.I started with eWallet over 10 years ago. I left for another password manager, but they eventually went cloud-based and wouldn’t give updates for anyone using standalone. I’m a cybersecurity professional and I strongly discourage the usage of cloud-based password managers (there are exceptions, but most users won’t jump through the hoops to guarantee the provider can’t decrypt their data). eWallet let’s you keep syncing your file on your own (you can control your Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud security) and they keep their program up-to-date and the 256-bit encryption has held up well. (Keep using a long password to open it though). It would be nice if they’d add support for hardware keys, but I suspect that’ll come in time..Version: 8.11

I have looked and tried other apps, but I need some thing that is user-friendly and a program where I can access information quickly. I also love the security features. If someone tries to get into your app, and enters the wrong password, It will automatically lock for however long you choose. So if you lose your phone, someone may try to access your sensitive login information, but it will give you time to delete all the information on your iPhone remotely. ✓ BUGS NEED FIXINGUp till now this gas been a very good and reliable app but there is a nasty bug in the latest version which renames cards when setting up new ones. It seems to get the names confused. This caused me to delete by mistake a card I had set up and loose the details. Not good. Also the Bluetooth sync and wifi sync facilities have been very unreliable and difficult to use in the older versions. I don't know if this has been improved but it should have been attended to. I had been a longtime user of another program for Palm Pilot and Palm Treo. When it's iPhone version didn't work well, someone recommended eWallet, and I've been pleased. This is the most I've ever paid for an app, but I feel it is worth the price. The "card" format took a few days to get used to, but it works well. The only reason for 4* (instead of 5) is the very small font size. The cards can't be pinch-zoomed/expanded, and the tiny type size can be VERY hard to read. ✓ Awesome supportI got a new iPhone because my old phone would not function using Wi-Fi. Apparently facial recognition does not transfer over and I could not recreate my eWallet password. I still was able to keep my old phone for 30 days so I went to work trying to get in. Nothing worked so I emailed support. Lee gave me some great ideas but I still needed Wi-Fi to make it work. After thanking him with no luck he kept giving me more ideas and SUCCESS! Man was I stoked. I wish I could give more stars. Not only the support is great so is the product. When creating a new card you have to go to the field to rename it otherwise it is named “new card”. It should automatically take you there as that is the first field that gets input so you can find the card again. It is really nice that they care about their product. They always respond promptly to emails. Most useful app I have. I would definitely recommend this program as it isn’t totally integrated into system software. I’ve tried those programs and the more integrated programs seem to be less secure to me, maybe that is wrong but that is feeling when I use them. I mean that I have a folder called “Lab Results” that I’ve been manually typing into over the years to keep track. I wish I could just take a picture of the lab results and save it - NOT with the card title over the top of half of the results and not cropped half the results out. I know this isn’t the use case for this app. I could just make a photo album to do the same thing. ✓ THE BEST PASSWORD AND ID SECURITY APP.I’ve been using eWallet for over 10 years on iPhone and nothing beats it for security, ease of use, functionality, and selection options. It’s even more versatile on a computer as larger amount of information can be created and securely stored and retrieved. I miss this option for screenshots and photos storage on cards selected on iPhone (mobile version). This in my opinion allows for additional information to be tagged to a particular card. At the present no mention I save it as files on computer which is not ideal or secure unless you use a computer version of eWALLET. I prefer thus option to be available for iPhone version to allow screenshots savings in addition to Notes which is simply text. It is a wish list as I cannot carry my laptop simply for additional secure items not available on mobile version. Otherwise it is an excellent App. THE BEST.
