✓ BEST SCANNER APP HANDS DOWN!!!Working on a custody case against my kids mother, the courthouse wanted $0.75 per page to make copies of a 120 page document. So I downloaded CS Scan, it worked amazing!!! I would’ve paid $100+ for those copies then had to scan them just to email to the files to my attorney; with CS Scan I scanned all 120 pages right at the court house and sent them off right from my phone. ✓ Best app of its kindI have to say - this app does it all very well - scans are great, you can keep the files private, share them if you need, edit them to your hearts content and it's even got built in OCR (not particularly good OCR but it's got it!) Love how it lets you define the shape of the document your scanning and it then distorts the image. Works particularly well in lectures where someone uses a flipchart and your sitting at an angle and at a distance. The camera lets you zoom and then crop the image and the results always come out legible. Very clever stuff. Well worth the purchase. Great also that there's now an iPad version. It is easily adjustable, but does an incredible job finding the edges of the page and determining contrast/brightness without any user input. AMAZING!! This would have 5 stars if it wasn't for the inaccurate cropping which seems to have gotten worse as the app has been upgraded, and ironically the cropping has been 'enhanced'. ✓ Very useful AppThis is a great App & very useful. Works well when I need to do a quick scan of important documents immediately back to our office. The only fault I can find with the App is that once you have your document ready to email or PDF via email, the moment you press "send" you get no further indication that it is transmitting the file or email. If it is a large file, you are left with no indicator of what is happening. Even the rotating icon next to 3G shows no activity. So after a minute you wonder if the App is locked up or frozen! ✓ Transform my work lifestyle!!!This little app has transform the way I work! I no longer have to run back to office to email attachment or meeting notes, just do it while I have coffee! Multiple page function has been a god send, however there is room for improvement, the 'selecting window' seems to not pick right page area, but putting your page on a contrast background helps a lot for auto pick right area. Also night time quality is not great, so have to wait till daytime to take photo of document, besides that it works amazingly and the daytime scan quality is excellent! ✓ Excellent app with little online storageBecause OneNote is a memory hog, I found myself in need of an app that could not just scanned documents but could store them on the fly. Enter CamScanner. It's a very easy app by simply pointing, shooting, cropping and saving any document you wish to have scanned. My only bone of contention with this application is that even as a paid app it still requires you to complete certain tasks to gain "free storage" in the cloud. And even when you do complete what it requires, you don't always get the bump in storage space. A paid subscriber should not feel like it's been taken hostage; this foolishness should be saved for the free version. Once CamScanner fixes this problem I will edit my review and give it five stars..Version: 4.4.3

Only problem I have with it, it doesn't sync with other devices. What I mean is that I have this app on 2 iPhones and an iPad 2. So there should be an update where they all sync like iCloud photos etc across all platforms. Other than that, this app is perfect and I have no other problems or objections! Enjoy the app! ✓ Fabulous Application for Emailing DocumentsI used the free version, until I was sure that I liked this App. Then I invested $1 and now use the next level up, which is perfect for home use. I use this App: To store copies of receipts; and to send copies of documents to other people by Email. It is perfect. I used to use photographs for both of the above. However, with this App, I automatically store things in one easy to locate place. Also, when sending Emails, the PDF files use a lot less memory than sending a photograph. ✓ Love this appI absolutely love this app! I facilitate training sessions and use this to capture flip charts that both learners and myself create during the session. It automatically resizes and the colors look even better than the actual flip charts. Using the app I create a single PDF and email it off to the group as a reminder of the day. They love it. But, when I install the app on my iPad, it only displays in iPhone size and like most iPhone apps looks terrible when magnified. I'll change my review to 5 stars when the interface, which works well, gets a few little improvement tweaks. I'd like it if the app didn't add so much to filenames, particularly files that I've renamed, I'd be happy to leave a small unique id number on the end, or would like to be able to choose a unique id format such as accounting (sortable) date and a few sequential serial digits separated by a dash or underscore, or a string of my choosing. ✓ My current doc scannerNot the prettiest or most intuitive app, but does the job. It's currently my go-to scanner, and is part of my paperless doc archiving workflow. I export scans for archiving into the Tap Forms database app, but keep the most recent in CamScanner. Note that while it has text recognition, like most apps of this kind it is local on-device recognition. This will always be less accurate than a proper online recognition service, such as Abbey FineScanner Pro. However, I've found CamScanner easier to use for adjusting scan options and archiving. ✓ Godsend for a business travellerI highly recommend if you routinely do expenses and are a traveller. I upload the scanned image to cloud and don't have to worry too much if the original goes astray. It even converts to PDF if required. I don't use the OCR but had mixed results when I tried it. One thing I am puzzled about it the space it uses - I deleted most old expenses but still some usage seems unaccounted for.
