✓ Air mode has problems, however touchpad/keyboard works wellI use a Gyro hardware mouse for my Mac and that works very well (this is similar to air mouse non-touchpad mode). However, the air mouse non-touchpad mode skipped, jumped and wasn't very useful at all. I'm running the server under Windows XP. Perhaps this is the problem with the air mode? Touchpad mode works well. The keypad was the feature that made this purchase worthwhile hence I don't regret the choice to purchase. Get the air mode working and then 4-5 stars would be an appropriate rating, until then, 3 stars seems right..Version: 0

✓ Total fail 👎😑This mouse doesn’t work, it’s going to be deleted off my phone and a waste of almost $6. I did all the troubleshooting, it doesn’t connect, it’s a bad app, it just wants to upgrade to a usb connection… which is weird because then it would NOT be a wireless mouse and doesn’t seem like an upgrade unless they know it doesn’t work and sheer frustration makes a usb connection seem like an upgrade because maybe it works if you pay a bit more. Anyway, I’m not paying more for their scam. This was a fail. I don’t recommend it for any reason. ✓ Server software is awefulThe app is no good without the server software, which on windows is terrible (I haven't tried the Mac server yet) the interface is highly unintuitive and offers no assistance to the user at all. until they fix this I have to give the app a poor rating. also, could we get some other way of making the keyboard appear than a shake. the shake gesture on the iPod touch is terribly broken, requiring you to shake the iPod very hard for several seconds. i realize this is an issue with the os, but the app developers need to provide the users with a workable alternative..Version: 0
✓ Kinda goodGotta only give it three stars because most of it works. Setup was a breeze, very fast and responsive smooth running, BUT, the "airmouse" that I was stoked on hardley works. I figured that you tilt the iPhone to move the courser, but it newer goes back to the same place or continues on to where you want it to go. The touchpad method works flawlessly though. ✓ Don’t botherFirst you pay for download Then once downloaded you have to pay again to use USB or Bluetooth connection. Then you have to download software to your computer. Was going to give it a go even after all that but in the end, too much mucking around. ✓ Used to work betterThis is still the remote mouse app I use the most, but it's way less reliable than it used to be in terms of connecting and running smooth. It's also annoying how aggressively it locks files on your computer. Any app that is in your launcher can't be removed or updated because it's "in use" by the server app even if you never launched it. Also doesn’t support 3/4 finger gestures, and while zooming/scrolling works in theory, it goes 10-20x further than you want, then you try to go back and way overshoot, then you eventually walk back to the computer to use a real mouse..Version: 3.5.0

✓ Finicky and doesn’t workThe whole reason I downloaded the app was to have volume control on netflix on my iMac. The volume controls don’t work. When I enable the phone volume buttons to control computer volume, it will only control one direction (ie. you can turn it up as loud as you want but can only go down 1-2 levels or vice versa). If I disable the phone buttons, the only menu on the app that controls the volume is the music one, so if I switch to that menu to access the volume, it takes me out of Netflix and into QuickTime every time I try. All the menus are finicky and only a few buttons work on each- the rest do nothing. Totally useless and very frustrating. I’m hoping for a refund..Version: 3.5.0

Update: The “Copy” feature from PC to IOS DEVICE starts working after I copy a word and tradition to copying slides from Power Point. I just don’t understand why I can’t keep copying slides. ✓ When it works properly it’s like a Magic Trackpad but betterI used to use this with my iPad, iPhone, etc. Now I can’t get the wired mode to work. I also try to use peer to peer Bluetooth that won’t work anymore. I have bought all the pro versions, and reinstalled but it won’t work. As soon as this works again I’ll change this to a five star without hesitation. You should also make this work like it does on desktop with IPadOS and iOS. It's obnoxious to offer a free version of the app and a paid version, where the paid version requires unspecified extra in-app payments to unlock full functionality. Why not have just one free app with a single in-app payment, or increase the price of the paid app such that it includes all functionality by default? At the least, the nature of the extra in-app payment should be explained to prospective buyers before they pay for the app. Of all the apps I've used for remote control (Logitech Touch Pro, another paid app which has since been removed from the store), this is functionally the best. The iPhone and the iMac can see each other and pair via the client for the computer, but for some reason the remote won't work. I was excited that this app has bigger key than other apps but the enter key seems like the sensitivity is off center you have to press almost to the left of the enter key for it to register. I don't really recommend this application but rather I would recommend something else which is called 'VNC' I think. ✓ Don't waste your money!The looks nice but that's about it. Mouse pad: even at different update frequencies the mouse pad feature is so laggy it's useless. Keyboard: actually tried to type a number of sentences on the virtual keyboard, although the keyboard on the iPhone screen shows all pressed keys as recognized only some actually seem to be transmitted to the desktop computer. I have tried different configuration option, different Mac computers, different network configurations... essentially wasted an hour to make this work but no luck. I wish Apple would either make sure apps in their store actually worked as advertised or have some way to get back your money. ✓ Easy and reliable appI read a blog post saying this app makes use of Siri for voice dictation. It's very easy to use and produces accurate transcripts with very little effort. Overall I'm very impressed –recommended. I now just need to figure out how to start new sentences with capital letters and to dictate the punctuation. Update: I used this app as a remote control for a Keynote presentation. I also bought the in-app upgrade 'Presentation Pro'. It's good but buggy. The pointer feature is really cool, however, halfway through the presentation slide previews stopped appearing on my iPhone. So it was pretty hard working out where to point on a blank, grey slide. If this can be fixed I would give it 5 stars, but right now it's marginal whether the app in its current state of development is an asset or a liability in critical presentations..Version: 2.6.1

✓ Not suitable as a replacement to your mouseI can't vouch for the suitability of the keyboard or other features (which I'm sure work very well based on other reviews), but if you're looking for a mouse replacement, don't count on this to solve your problems. Because of the accelerometer, you can't just slide the iPhone around on a table (like you would with a mouse). This is not a flaw with the application (I believe), but a limitation of the iPhone hardware. To move the cursor around the screen, you need to tilt it, which is awkward and inaccurate, and unfortuately is not suitable for what I need. In defence of R.P.A. Tech, the software, design and support for this product is very good, with a helpful website for setup and troubleshooting. From other reviews it seems the additional functionality is very useful..Version: 0
