✓ ExcellentThis is the 4th review.....excellent app, constant need to be told so. Please stop it asking me to review it. I had less needy children. ...App, worth 5* but for the fact a pop up has been nagging me for months to give it a review. ✓ Manual Refresh?The whole point of a feed reader is to not need to manually check the sites you follow. This is a great, clean, easy to use app but it is let down by the lack of background refresh. Admittedly it's less work to open this, refresh, see there's no new posts, close -- than it is to go to each website, but c'mon! Surely the app needs to be in the notifications game?.Version: 1.6

✓ Piece Of S.... App - current verThis used to be a clean simple easy to use App years ago. But the past few versions have gotten over inflated with garbage features. And after the past 2-3 updates a damned RATING REQUEST constantly pops up every single time I launch the App. So now after a few weeks of dismissing the message here I am logging in to rate this App and giving it a low mark intentionally due to the annoyances now being baked into what was once a useful especially App. Hopefully this will stop the irritating pop up message..Version: 1.8.6

✓ Annoying lock upsThis app would be great if I didn't have to close it out and restart it every time I use it. It locks in the loading mode and has to be restarted every time. It also gives you a pop up every time it opens asking for a review, which is annoying and only makes me want to give a bad review for how they are begging for reviews..Version: 1.8.6

✓ Good but lost a few things.This is a good solid app that does what it states it will. Little problems, just miss the functionality of the old version. Such as the auto update when opened, notification of unread articles and of course the one button for "read all" on the button with in thumbs reach. A good example of an app that was perfect and got "upgraded" And it keeps asking to rate the app..Version: 1.8.6
✓ DrainOne previous version didn't even load news, just crashed. Current version works pretty well, but if you leave it running in the back it drains battery. In a cycle it was responsible for 70% of the battery usage which shouldn't be possible. I'm guessing due to bad implementation of add banners? Great little app if these issues could be cleaned up, despite the scammy add banners..Version: 1.8.6

✓ Review reminder nuisanceThis reader is alright. It does what I need it to do, and I paid 99 cents to remove advertisements. However, I’m annoyed by the constant pop-up dialog insisting I review the app which appears even after I provided a review. So here’s your updated review, reduced to one star because I sincerely dislike your pestering..Version: 1.8.6
✓ Great but like a needy child. Ludicrous ‘rate me’ pop ups all the time.Very nice. A low bandwidth tool which gives me my choice of news fast without the unpleasant 'curating' nonsense. Irritatingly it demands reviews fairly regularly (even if you have already written one). Only sensible response is to increment the score downwards each repeat review. It would be helpful if you could export settings and bespoke feeds. Once you have them in and working it’s difficult to replicate. I have now rated this twenty or thirty times. One star now - simply because it keeps nagging..Version: 1.8.6

✓ Great app that lost a couple of starsFantastic app, great reading experience in that it doesn't try to be "intelligent" about the timeline. It loses a star for getting unusable when there are too many articles cached and there's no automatic cleanup so it's a manual process for house keeping. It also nagged me constantly to review it, so one more star removed. Update: the constant requests to review it again are getting crazy. ✓ Reduced usability compared to previous versionI used to be able to read the full content of all posts within the app. Now it tends to load a "teaser" and make me click through to read the rest of the article. The app insists on updating its list of posts every time it is opened. This causes annoying delays that are not needed when opening within a few minutes of last time you looked. App is unstable. About 1/3 of the time, it opens to a splash screen, stays there for a minute or so, then crashes. This used to be a five star app but the latest version is broken..Version: 1.1

✓ Why did I update???Got to admit when I seen the update I thought great albeit I was sceptical and I should have trusted instinct. Had the previous version for years and it's simplistic approach worked great for my needs and now after the update it's just feels clunky and frankly the article view just looks terrible. A few issues I have noticed: 1. My feed took over 5 minutes to refresh which I suspect was because I have a fed to a site blocked by sky (need to use a VPN). 2. If the feed name is too long and is shortened with '...' you then can't see how many unread articles you have. 3. In article view the title no longer stands out. It's looks as if it's merged which is a step back from last time. 4. You can't quickly jump between articles any more 5. When you refresh you no longer see the progress of what feed it's refreshing which was in the last version 6. You can no longer flee fresh individual feeds from within the feed which is useful when you're interested in that topic only Although this is negative there is positives (hence the 2 stars) as the app has been updated after years of the previous version which is a positive step. The app is now full screen on the bigger phones (I have an iPhone 5) which tells you how long ago it was since the last update You can now delete feeds which previously caused crashes in previous version after iOS updates. Please update again but try to capture the core principles of the last version which made it so successful.Version: 1.0
✓ Cannot add or remove feedsI'm unable to remove the feeds that come with the app (although I can rename them) and I am also unable to add my own feeds, so I can't really give this app any praise at all as I can't even use it in a most basic way. Other irritations include the wrong keyboard being shown when I try to add the URL of a feed. The keyboard does not include the standard URL characters and the confirmation key says "search" rather than "add" (or something equally relevant). This may be intentional - perhaps the app should then search for the feed - but it does nothing at all. It just sits there. I have no idea what has gone wrong, or if it's just taking a very long time.Version: 1.6

✓ Like the app, hate the pop-up asking for reviewI have been using this app for years. I have been very happy with it and, mostly, still am. Two hours ago I finally gave in to the annoying pop-up that asks for a rating: gave four stars. Now, two hours later, I come back to the app and get the pop up again so one less star. Honestly, the app is great but I hope he fixes the stoopid pop up soon. --- 3 hours later: back again, asked again, one less star again. --- Week later. Still like the app, still hate the pop up. ✓ Just got the app and it already doesn’t work :(You can’t delete a feed; I didn’t get any feedback when trying to add my first one, and hit the Check Mark three times, which added the feed three times. ✓ CrapApp stops responding when you press bottom right button. Also works slow. Occasionally (often) after reading content and it stops responding , you reboot the app and find yourself with all read articles to be unread. Many more bugs. ✓ Simple to set up, easy to use, room for improvementThe thing I immediately love about this app is the range of options it gives you to set up your feeds. If you sync to google reader or another service it's just a swipe of a setting away. However, if you're like me and have in the past used Apple Mail for your rss needs, a longer but simple setup system is in place which allows you to type in the exact feed address if you know it, or - my favourite part - give it the blog's web address to search for feeds itself. The interface is clear and unobtrusive, with the only improvement being more features such as resetting to unread, starred, or posting to other sites eg Twitter, digg, etc. Of course, if you want these kinds of features you probably ought to pay the developer!.Version: 0
✓ Great tool but it has stalled.This app worked so well at first. But since the recent update it has ground to a halt. It takes about 40-60 seconds for the feed to load (during which time the iPhone is frozen). And once you're in a feed the device frequently freezes when you try to scroll. ✓ Almost ThereI had never cared much for RSS readers until I started using this one and now use them regularly. The first version of the reader was low on features but it was stable. Since the new features were added the reader crashes constantly. The only update I want now is for the developers to address what ever problems are causing this and I will sing it's praises to anyone with an iPod Touch or iPhone..Version: 0
