✓ Just about rightSource: 'Star Trek - The Next Generation: Technical Manual' by Rick Sternbach and Michael Okuda. Published by Boxtree. The Star Trek tricorder have two buttons in the top right area, which are always marked as "I" and "E" which stands for Internal and External. Pressing I allows the tricorder to scan by itself while pressing E allows the tricorder to use the starship's scanners. Why do this app have "X" and "E" button???? Comparing to the app 'Tricorder TR-580' by Matthias Schorer, which got it right, the iScanner Tricorder app got it wrong. However the display on iScannerr Tricorder is better than Tricorder TR-580 becuase iScanner's display is faster and gives Star Trek like information, if somewhat limited to the same old inforrmation again and again and the use of the 'EMEG' button on iScanner is correct. Press it and it show a very fast (fake) uploading, althought never seen on Star Trek, is very much what it would be like if seen on the show. The EMEG button is better than I expected. Library buttons again wrong, should be "I" and "E" not the "J" and "K" buttons on the app. Needs a little more work to do but otherwise useful for downloading to your iPhone or iPod Touch and use during fancy dress parties as long as other people are not serious Star Trek fans and would not notice your app is bit wrong. If the developer wish to ask me for more feedback and ideas, I would be happy to help out..Major EazyVersion: 1.4.1

✓ False advertisingI wanted apps about the most underrated scientist of all time, namely, Nicola Tesla. This app was one of the apps that appeared when Tesla's name was put into the search in the app store. So what if a lot of what is shown on this phony tricorder comes fro Tesla's ideas. I never wanted a pretend game to be a pretend scientist. The putting of this under Tesla only to find it is a game is fine for those, really great as a matter of fact to stimulate the much needed imagination. All well and fine. But, to make anyone think one is going to actually learn more about Tesla, when all it is is a fancy Star Trek Game, is not only gross mirepresented advertising, but as William Shatner used to say to overzealous Star Trek fans: "Get a life!" All of you candy brained non-thinkers: Read all you can about Tesla, especially the autobiography of Tesla. Then you'll really be saying: "wow!".Spiritual SkiesVersion: 0

✓ What happened to the communicator. It doesn’t work with the new iOSI tried to update the communicator and it said it wouldn’t work with the new iOS. Can anyone tell me why that would be.
