✓ Well it's good for my initial reason to download it.......which is to control the volume and to skip through songs on my mac when I'm in bed and am too lazy to keep getting up! However, nothing else seems to work for me. I can't send my Mac to sleep and iTunes just won't open unless I go to my computer and do it manually. It's a bit disappointing because it'd be so much more useful if it did actually work the way it should! Sorry about it!.Version: 0

✓ Won't work consitantlyI downloaded the free app and the required Mac software for my MacBook Pro 2.33 running X.4.11 and the program ran intermittantly -- I contacted Mr. Kammerer who guided me through the known config issues and the app still remains unstable; when I considered the non-free version this is the response I got: "Hello, please do not download the non-free version, because something is blocking the signals and I really don't know what the problem is. The last thing you can try is disabling the automatic configuration and setting up the ip adress directly, but I dont think this will help." Tried it again tonight and ti won't work -- looks like it could be a great app and I wish that the vol up and down buttons were continuous like "iTap", for example..Version: 0

Doesn't look like an iPhone app. I don't expect a lot of functionality from a free app, but it was so pared down that I couldn't tell if the paid version, for which I would be willing to pay, would suit my needs. I won't be buying the paid version. On a positive note, Bonjour is employed. One other I tried required that I enter an IP address, which is archaic and unnecessary..Version: 0

✓ Not a good free sampleApple has a better controller of iTunes (and in the free version of jfControlFree, this is all you get - a stripped down version of Apple's Remote), so this is no trial at all. It's a pathetic trial, with the option to put your machine to sleep (woohoo), or adjust the system volume only. Inexplicably, there is an icon denoting the 'speaker', with a red cross through it, but no explanation of why or what volume it relates to. I need an app which can control Keynote, and able to switch to Safari - but this is not it. There are other alternatives to explore....Version: 0
