It’s a very old game that never fails to take you back to the days of Scorched Tanks on Amiga, or bring in a wide range of new, young people (such as myself) to the genre. It’s a very simple game with a vast strategic curve that only grows in size when you (inevitably; let’s be real) decide to purchase one or more of the many witty, humorous, and very thought out, weapon packs available for your choosing. Michael is also fantastic at listening and catering to his community both through the forums and these review sections, alike. Akin to weapon ideas, bug fixes, features, etc. He’s always responded to my emails regarding the game every single time for YEARS. He’s truly devoted and most definitely deserves ALL of your money. BRAVO! SUGGESTIONS FOR MIKE: It would be a change to see some different types of terrain (maybe obstacles such as trees, cacti for a new desert terrain possibly?) The only thing I wish the developers would add is a statistics table to show how well you did the last 20 or 30 matches, best match, worst match, length of play, and clear stats option. There are so many great weapons that do crazy things, like there's ont that works like a pineapple but the explosions are like zappers, and one which launches the enemy into the air and missiles pop out and shoot them. ✓ Great! I recommend 😜I love the graphics and the simplicity of the game-this simplicity makes the game as good as it is! The controls are easy and the level of difficulty ranges from very easy to very hard so it's good for those who aren't so great at games and for those who are veterans!! One aspect I would pick on though is the few modes of play. I suggest maybe a campaign mode or something similar as, for me, the one player and two player modes are limiting repetitive. Also I suggest an adventure mode where you can gain points and virtual money to upgrade and customise your tank; maybe name it!! Do correct me if I'm wrong because I haven't bought any of the 'packs' so I may be missing out on a few things already ;) You don't have to read my suggestions and actually implement them into the game, but feel free if you like them :).Version: 1.8

✓ I'm writing this review for the deluxe versionI have purchased the deluxe version and it I'd definitely worth it this game deserves much more attention. So simple but yet so complex. This game also has allot of potential, like possibly in the deluxe version you could have a way to design new landscapes to battle on that could be allot larger and longer and deeper and maybe modes where you have unlimited jump packs and diggers maybe idk. The only thing I wish was changed is the weapons, there’s a few for you to play with (yes it’s free to play) but there should be a wider variety. If there’s so many weapons available, add some of the top ones to try. Even a day or 2 trial and then option to buy. I curious to see how the weapons have been implemented and if they have the same or similar effect and all the others. I’ve been tempted to buy it a few times but hesitant based on these reasons. ✓ On target!Mastertronic released a basic version of this game on the ZX Spectrum in around 1984 and I played it loads then (when my brother let me on his computer). This version has a multitude of weapons and lends itself perfectly to the iPhones touchscreen controls. It could use more varied terrain and a wifi 2 player option but for free, can't complain. ✓ All-Time Favorite Game!!!I literally play this game all day. I love turn-based games that have selections. I've played the PC version with all the weapons. Mobile is the best because I can play anywhere. I battle at least ten people a day and practice my winning strategy time after time. My cons: AI never wins, but never misses lol. Its true, second player is always at a disadvantage with their position. The spinner glitch is lame to lose by - please fix. Request: we should be able to create stages/weapon selections. We definitely need chat during play feature. The game play is casual and would be fun to coach friends some tips during play. Please can we have a record of our matches? ✓ Fun Game, though flaws are obvious.I’ve played this game hundreds of times. I play it at least ten times a day. With that said it’s a great time spender. The downsides are the AI and the weapons. The AI I’d say after level 3 hits you directly every time. Even if you have perfect aim this leads to problem two: the weapons. Generally the weapons are fun and silly, but there’s an obvious uneven distribution of power. Sometimes you’re left with on or two truly offensive weapons and the rest are useless defensive weapons. If the balancing was better this game would be near perfect. Sometimes after the computer goes you are locked into such a terrible position with such terrible weapons it’s almost more fun to restart the game for a more even match. ✓ The Only Game I Play on MobileI remember the original tank game on PC, we used to play it back in the early 90s in the computer lab on campus. This one is way cooler with all the weapon options but holds true to the original spirit. It is very addictive. The WIFI Lobby option is amazing, you can play with others on your own network, mobile to mobile. ✓ Favorite artillery game for 16 years!I have played this game for at least 16-17 years (classic PC version as a kid). It is hands down one of the best if not THE best artillery games. I can honestly say I got some good feels with the most recent update adding a nice little “thank you” and history of the game to the main menu. It was a great little tribute.
