✓ From a teacherHaving a degree in educational technology and having worked with Pre-K children for 5 years, I always approach pre-school software with a critical eye. That being said, this is a simple and intuitive program that will serve 3 functions. It will entertain children; it will engage the recall and relationship aspects of young minds (very important); it will provide an opportunity to interact with the child. From an educator's point of view, I recommend that you play this game with children rather than just handing them the device to keep them quite. ✓ My 3 yr old stole my phone...and won't giv it back. He loves this game. Especially the animals. It took him a bit but now he knows how navigate from one game to another. The only thing I'd like to see improve is the variety within the games themselves. They tend to repeat the queations often enough that my son even notices. ✓ Fun but not challengingThis game is eye catching and colorful. the makers clearly put effort into it. there is not-so-annoying music (a real find in children's games) and my daughter enjoys playing it. however, i don't know if it will have staying power. it says it is for preschool but it is not challenging for my 3 yo even on the games where there is an advanced option. having said that, she has fun and when i'm distracting her with my phone i'm not expecting a learning experience. so i'd buy it again..Version: 0

✓ Just one suggestion...Are the clue squares for the letters and numbers supposed to flash? I think the flashing makes the letters and numbers hard to recognize. I suggest slowing it down or not having it flash at all. Otherwise, I like the look and sounds of this app so far. My 2yr old didn't want to give me my iPod back!.Version: 0

✓ Wonderful for special needs!Thank you for creating such a wonderful application. We are using it to work with our non-verbal son who has autism. I love that the "clue" is shown first, and that you have a "REPEAT THE CLUE" button as well. The activities are great, the artwork cute and colorful. If I could ask for anything more - my only wish is that if somehow you could choose to select the item from a smaller sampling than a choice of 6. ✓ Amazingly Fun For Them, Not Annoying To YouIt's rare that a game like this isn't just churned out trash that's designed to do the minimum necessary to make parents feel good that their kids are learning. After all, the kids don't care, right? Well this team obviously took time to record original music, sound effects and voice overs that are hysterical to listen to and not at all grating. As for the kids, these graphics are beautiful, simple and completely engaging. Gameplay ramps nicely. There are two difficulties for each game, so your child can grow within each game. And then the games themselves ramp developmentally from basic matching to rudimentary touch-screen mechanics and scoring. I'm pleasantly surprised by this title. Completely satisfied..Version: 0

Colorful characters, simple gameplay, funny voices (coutesy of John Jaccobson, host of the Video Game Outsiders), and awesome music (from Matt McCarthey, who's "Geaometery Wars" song was an internet sensation last year); add up to a perfect children's game at a bargain price. ✓ Broken?Just bought this for my kid since it was on sale. Unfortunately the game's spoken clues aren't working. So in advanced mode you have no idea what you're supposed to do. I reset my device after installing just in case and that did nothing. Could be a fun game for kids if it worked. Will revise my review if it gets fixed. -- Update: Fired up the game a few hours later and now the voice is working. Not really sure what changed between then and now, but at least it's working for me. Decent app for people with young children. ✓ My kids love it.I got the free version of the hippo fun game and bought this from the ad-ons and my girls love this game very much as well as the song. However I would like to see added things such as letter fill in for spelling simple math problems a spelling list in order or a test on their knowledge of the order of the letters are supposed to be in. This is just a short list and I've noticed other paid programs that offer such things but only that specific item such as addition or simple spelling or the alphabet. I have to say it has been fantastic, she loves the games and they keep her occupied for a good amoutn of time.
