✓ Nostalgic, but controls are terribleI was pretty good at this game on Sega, but it is so much harder on a phone due to the terrible controls. I deleted the app within minutes..Version: 6.1.2

It does not remove and it does not respond to me pressing to remove.I already remove the ads when you updated your software!! But now it does not respond on my 7+ when I press the bottoms or on the swag controller. I bought the right to use this software in full!! Same problem with Atari game apps. ✓ Another Broken Mess!The music skips in and out and chops during battles. The controls are awful and buttons will pick and choose when they work. I find I have to stand perfectly still when attacking or my character will use their back attack over and over, opening me for hits from the guy I was hitting, and it occasionally happens even when I’m standing still! What’s the problem, SEGA? Churning them out so you can sell them? You can do better then this on your game ports!!!.Version: 5.1.0
✓ Nostalgia but that’s itAs always, SEGA cares little for the actual player support of their games but that doesn’t make the games not classic. The controls are about as good as you can get for a mobile game but the credit system is truly abysmal. We’re not in an 80s arcade. We paid to play the complete games. We should be able to have a limitless credit system to actually complete the games. Beating these games is not easy with how awful touch screen controls generally are but like I said earlier, SEGA won’t fix it. They never fix any bugs or issues in any of their games and this is coming from a lifelong fan..Version: 6.0.4
✓ Controls are a little awkward and slowLike many on here I played a lot of this game back in the day. So I was excited to see it come back. They did a great job with layout, porting, menus and graphics. I mean c'mon there is no way to make a 25yr old game look good but they did an admirable job bringing it to the iPhone. The inability to cash in on your extra lives is a bummer; but casting your 4-6 pot magic blast as you are bashing away at a solo mob is brutal!!! Golden Axe is a bait hook for advertising garbage, so you will need to buy the game to try it. Also, this is the basic inferior Genesis port, not the superior arcade version that we all want.
