✓ Terrible appI'm a physician. I didn't bring my stethoscope home when I went to visit family. My father needed me to evaluate his lungs for acute wheezing, and despite 30 min of messing with this app and watching you tube instructions, it was a big fail!.Version: 8.21
✓ JokeWhat a joke. Yesterday, I read that this app worked sort of like a Doppler and I could hear my baby's heartbeat. I was so excited when I found it almost immediately yesterday... This afternoon, my husband found The baby in his Billy's heartbeat, too. I don't know what it picks up, but it certainly isn't a heartbeat. Don't waste your money..Version: 1.04

✓ Not a scam but needs better instructions to use simple headphonesI thought at first that this app was a scam generating a heartbeat of it's own for you to listen to but I was using a pair of headphones with a mike attached. When I switched to simple headphones it appeared to work albeit not particularly clearly. I would guess the fake heart beat is part of a synchronising filter, in which case this isn't a bad application but Peter desperately needs to make the requirement to use simple headphones very clear..Version: 0

✓ What a load of rubbish there should be a law against this fraud I want my dollar backLol what a gip, beautiful heart sounds, I am a nurse and my friend is a medical student we both have heartbeats of 188 beats per minute, our sofa has a heart beat of 188 aswell and my sons elbow shoulder and nose all have heart beats of 188. Seems like anything that is placed over the microphone will generate the heart sounds, Great fun app but dont advertise it as a real attempt to listen for heart sounds.....I am off to take the sofa to the doctor..Version: 0

✓ Warning"After" buying the app there's a warning to keep it away from people with Pacemakers because it may interfere with the frequency...great ....I've been holding it to my chest for the last hour trying to figure out how to work it, and I have a implanted Pacemaker! ✓ Interesting, but not well thought out.0.59p I can afford to waste, but the idea is still interesting, however the design is simply flawed in use. There should be a fixed time sample option (cos you don't know if it's started or finished?) the 'on' button says 'mode' (bizarre) and it should be at the opposite end of the phone from the mic'. ✓ Not much use in practiceWorking as a GP, I have to say that I would love for this app to actually work. There are many times that having a readily accessible stethoscope replacement would be useful, particularly when travelling. On paper this provides many of the important features you might need - phonogram, recording, noise cancellation etc. When used in anger I have to say it simply doesn't work. I've tried it on myself and a number of volunteers, and struggled to achieve any sound that would be of clinical use. 2 stars for the features and the fact that 1 star would seem mean, as it is a great idea. More work needed I think. Besides, who wants to press their iPhone against someone else's sweaty chest?.Version: 0

✓ Got it to workI got it to work after watching the utube videos under writingpeter. There is more to this App than meets the eye or ear. I am hearing impaired and I accidently found out I can hear the TV at low volume because it does a marvelous job of amplifying the sound. This is ear opening! ✓ No and yes...Works but not a good ap for the iphone 5 or newer. The headphone jack gets in the way and you can't pic up anything on the mic. You can use it without headphones but it is VERY hard to hear anything. I don't recommend this unless you have an older iphone or a phone that does not have a headphone jack next to its mic....Version: 1.04

✓ Waste of moneyWhat a waste of money, to be able to record your heart beat you have to be on a noiseless environment, AND WHEN I SAY NOISELESS I MEAN SERIOUSLY NOISELESS, and once u can somehow (if you are lucky) then listen to some very weird noises that mixes with a hisss noise. Once you get the graphics that shows your heart beat it does not tell you any kind of info not even your heart is beating fast or slow, Do not waste your money if you are not from medical comunity or sth, I WANT MY MONEY BACK.
