✓ Good but...I bought this app when the Mac version was launched - the basic idea is good, integration with Contacts is fair (Mac Contacts smart groups are lost in IOS but are available in the Mac version), I also agree the UI could be improved. My issue is with syncing - in the IOS version dropbox is available as a sync option but not in the Mac version - iCloud sync isn’t reliable between the Mac and IOS versions, other apps manage it. I’ll be encouraging the developer to include the dropbox option in the Mac version and/or get the iCloud issues resolved..Version: 3.6.1
✓ No Group Text MessageI first downloaded this App in 2010 and quickly uninstalled it when I realized that I couldn’t do Group Text Messaging. Fast forward to 2020, redownloaded from iCloud and still no Group Text Messaging!! Especially when Text Messaging has taking over emails I’ll give a 5 star when I can do Group Texting..Version: 5.3.3

✓ Not syncing all data, Groups not importing.One of the main features of this software is import export functionality which is not functional in my case. Contacts attached to Public or Private groups loses the group attachment when importing or exporting so the mobile app is a waste of money for me. I wish I could have my money back or fix the problem asap..Version: 5.4.4

✓ Cannot Contact App makerI purchased the full version cause it sounded just what I needed. Once installed, I noticed that the emailing function did not work (maybe because of a different email app I am using rather than the ‘mail’app from apple?) No possibility to contact for complaint. ✓ Not bad for the price, look forward to key improvementsWe have the single-user pay version for sales reps, it is a useful tool for individual reps, offering extremely fast call log making via voice to text automatic logging and great contact mapping with links to navigation apps. Unfortunately, the lack of a PC version prohibits the inside staff from being able to share the information collected by outside reps. It also prevents users from adding new contacts and other information with the speed and comfort of a full sized keyboard and screen. Also, limited import and export capability and lack of database tools like a de-duplicating function further restricts how we use and share the contact info we collect..Version: 5.12.9

✓ Visually LackingI’ve tried several personal and business CRM apps and this one is the most simple to use. I really like the export feature so I can see all my logs for each person on one sheet. The map tab is really cool to see where contacts are, really nice when traveling and realizing there’s someone nearby you can meet for a quick meeting or meal. Also like that it syncs across my Mac, iPad and iPhone. My biggest problem is...It’s so ugly! You’re unable to change font color, sizes, type face, etc. From what I’ve read in the reviews, the app has looked the same for years. Exporting creates a PDF that I think is Times New Roman. Bleh! The most annoying part is the profile fields on the Mac version only shows one line so if I type something long, I can only view it on my iPhone. I also stopped using the To Do list because when I linked it to my calendar, the only option for time is a start and end date, no all day feature. Now I use Fantastical for tasks. The app also duplicates my contacts. Some kind of glitch from the Apple Contacts. Apparently, Apple combines Google and iCloud profiles for convenience. But this app creates two profiles. So I had to go through and unlink Google, delete the profile in Contacts, then go back and delete the duplicate from the app. Overall, good app that I’ll use until I find something better..Version: 4.6.1

✓ Would appreciate some tech support.I have to make this quick because I have a business to run. When CJ works it has been terrific however when we have had contact support it’s been horrible. At the moment, due to sync problems that we haven’t been helped with, CJ only works on two out of 5 devices. We have contacted tech support a few times. They have asked for screen shots of the problem…… crickets. I contacted them again…….crickets. Doesn’t matter how good a piece of software is if it isn’t supported. Right now my biggest stress is the inability to work with CJ like we should be able. Wish I had something better to say. This has been going on for two months so I waited awhile before griping..Version: 5.7.4
✓ ExcellentReally impressed with the app plus desktop application. To have client information to review at your finger tips prior to out of office meetings is such a help. Then to be able to add brief meeting précis remotely compliments business meetings perfectly. Well done Would love to have the up able to use Apple Pencil to write and add drawings.Version: 5.1.1
✓ From 5 to 1 star since updated with extra large pinsThe recent update with ultra annoying large pins, I cannot use the app anymore. It is almost impossible to see my contacts on the map wiith too many ultra large pins. The app is slower than before and even with the other views added, it is just sad that they have made the app a 5 star to a 1 star in just an update! Please bring back the small pins ! Not everyone needs clustering ! Add features like filters to selected contacts and automatically calculate time and km between each of them, with best road options along with the road map. The app could be THE best tool around for sales rep on the road... add report features, stats, etc... Add the possibility to work with different databases could be something interesting....Version: 5.2.4

Shutting Down 8/5/22 UpdateWorked great for my needs and keeping my contacts organized and activities for each I’m able to really keep an accurate log because CJournal makes it easy to do proper follow ups and scheduling! But not lately…… UPDATE: When I open the app after about 15 sec it closes. I have deleted and reinstalled and thought it fixed it for about 3 hours and it started up again. I shutdown and restarted my iPad and the problem is still there. I’m paying for a full version I can’t use on my iPad. How about a little help here..Version: 5.8.3

✓ Much needed extensions to the iPhones lack lustre Contacts AppImpressed with App so far. It provides much needed extensions to the functionaly weak Contacts application in the iPhone. It's already been so useful to be able to keep track on contact histories. Here are some enhancement suggestions: Landscape support, particularly in the Log View is needed. Would love some filtering options by contact groups, and maybe some custom tags like 'project' to make contact list and log view manipulation more focussed. Would be great if when looking at a log entry you could then 'zoom out' to all log entries for the same contact rather than the entire log list - would make it much easier to see a log entry in the context of the whole contact chain. It would also be really helpful if inbound and outbound contacts could be distinguished on screen, maybe by colour or symbol or staggering them like the SMS app. Also it would be great if the app took you back to exactly where you were when it was last opened rather than always going back to the contacts screen and waiting for the whole contacts list to load. This would help greatly when you find you need to go back and lift some info from an eMail to enter into a Log Entry..Version: 0
✓ Good app - but flawedThis app has many functions and the developers are responsive. I want to give this more stars. Three years ago, I flagged the need for custom repeats for tasks, instead of just six presets. Still, no changes to repeat tasks. This is such a basic requirement. It should be standard for a "powerful", "professional" full-priced CRM manager. I'd be happy to give more stars if and when the repeat options are improved..Version: 5.0.3

✓ No support!The apps great until you setup a team and share data between devices, your phone just constantly crashes and I’ve emailed support several times after paying £45 per device and a rolling subscription fee of over £20pm and no reply. ✓ Lost approx. 200 client contacts and NO HELPAfter multiple attempts in the last several weeks to get help with the ICloud Sync that wouldn’t work and receiving unhelpful answers that didn’t apply to my questions I tried one last time on my own and the app proceeded to delete all but three of my client contacts. I’ve lost over a year’s work, all my To Do lists, all my downloaded pics, everything. I’m devastated and am hearing NOTHING from support to help me. I have what I think is a backup that may contain all the data but every time I try to follow the steps to restore my contacts I get an error message on my IPad and my new MacAir. Why can I not get my data from ICloud??? This makes no sense. I bought a Mac just so I could easily share this app’s info back and forth between my devices and it was a total bust as far as I’m concerned. ✓ Awful appThe is an almost duplicate of apple contacts. The app seems to arbitrarily ignore some contacts and I can’t figure why. You enter the details in apple contacts and groups and the information is then passed to this app. It has a couple of fields that seems to occasionally wipe the info entered. I don’t care so much about the cost, I need something to help plan, rate, remind for follow up all of the ever changing data in my contact system. This is not it..Version: 4.1.5

✓ Ok App need minor changes for greatness!Good but need to sync changes made on contacts on iPhone, currently only changes made on this app on your contacts, backwards only. Any changes made on your contacts on contacts through iPhone, not seen on the imported contacts when initially set up. Also you need to have Mac or PC software version to also work with! No use just on iPad. People work mostly on laptop or PC! Becoming great but a few minor changes would make this a an unbeatable business CRM tool!!!.Version: 0

✓ Needs days elapsed since last log interaction for each contactThe app is nice. But please provide number of days lapsed against each contact since the last log entry for that contact. This is needed for effective personal CRM. Do that and you deserve 5 stars..Version: 5.6.9

✓ Unbelievably PoorCJournal posted an update which wiped all of my data and now does not seem to be retrievable from iCloud. Months of work lost. Support is virtually non existent, they will only address one email per day so that a simple conversation on how to fix the problem has so far taken over a week with no solution. Had a similar experience with data not syncing between devices in the past and gave up in the end.This is supposed to be a business app, don't take the risk..Version: 3.5.4
