✓ Nice links to wolfram alpha mathDaily Quiz is wildly repetitive. Perhaps random to a fault instead of recording and reducing the pool of combinations to ask. Many unpaid apps let you do the quizzes as much as you like as long as you complete each in sequence. Where paid app tends to allow you to choose your level and topic. Imath takes the approach of limiting the quiz to one daily attempt in free mode. The information on various math subjects is brief, limited and incomplete. But YouTube and wikis can make up for that short coming. It has direct links to some nice wolfram alpha tools but seems to open them in a kind of internal browser or private safari window. A suggestion is to customise the app as a front end query to improve ease of use with the touch interface or allow the links to open directly in the iPhone's set default browser be it safari, chrome or Opera. Also, would be good to check the solutions offered as the one under polynomial says the largest common factor is 5ax^2 but factored it as 5a^2x^2(a-2x^3) which seems incorrect to me.Version: 4.1.1
✓ Interesting but has flawsApp at first glance seems good. Content well written and provides a sequence of outcomes to build a students knowledge. There are two flaws - albeit using the free version. 1. Some answers require you input the answer via keyboard. If you turn the keyboard off, you can no longer answer the question. 2. I tried to report this flaw via their contact us section and this crashes the application. This is a shame, I don’t like buggy software and when I encounter them early on in testing I generally stop using - I certainly will not pay for it..Version: 4.2.34

The app contains some more advanced terms without defining them, causing grief to beginners using the app, and a few sections could definitely use a proof read. ✓ Wrong definitions/terminologyThere is incorrect use of terminology in this app. For example, in goniometry, sec, cosec, and cot are describes as inverse functions. This is wrong. Inverse functions map one function's output back to the inputs. So if f is a function mapping x to y, then the inverse function of f maps y back to x. In trigonometry, that would be arcsin, arccos, arctan, etc. It appears to be a copy/paste of disparate sources from the web without citations. Bad app, bad ethics. For me, this isn't really enough to actually learn & understand a topic; I'm really feeling the lack of an actual textbook with examples, or the equivalent. ✓ Can’t do anything without paying for “pro”I got to answer 100 questions which were very simple additions of 2 numbers under ten. Thrilling! Then I explored the app, and some things were pro but a lot wasn’t, so i clicked one of the lesson and it gave me a question, without explanation of what the question was about, and to find out the SOLUTION you need to PAY for pro!!! ✓ ...The app is good for the first little bit but once you go into the lessons they give you a little bit of information and if you're not satisfied then they take you to a Wikipedia page because they're too lazy to write it themselves. Also when you fail a test you have to wait (understandable) and only the first 2 tests in each subject are available before you have to upgrade to "pro". This company seems like they try as hard as they can to make money, most of their apps cost money and even the free ones have in-app purchases that make the app so much better than the free one, you should at least make one app that is completely free..Version: 4.2.20
