✓ Best photography app out thereI have this and Camera+ on my iPhone 4 and this is the app that I now use as my default camera. It does everything that Camera+ does but also does video recording, in the iPhone 4's native HD, but also with an option to use live filters in SD. Frankly, I can't understand why CP Pro isn't number one instead of Camera+, as the interface on CP Pro is much better and the Zoom is in FULL resolution, whereas the zoom on Camera+ is terrible quality and therefore unusable. Oh, and finally, the burst mode on Camera+ is in 640x480! Whereas on CP Pro, it is full resolution photos. Why is everyone buying the camera app with LESS quality photos and no video??.Version: 3.3

✓ Really good app well worth the moneyKey features (for me) are: 1) Uploads to facebook/picasa/twitter etc 2) Syncs to main Photo Library/Camera Roll 3) Anti-shake (works very well) 4) Burst mode (so I can pick the best out of several taken close together) 5) 'big button' (whole screen can be touched to take photo) Features that are also useful to me: 1) Photo editing (saturation, hue, filters, cropping, flash effect and many more) 2) Bulk delete/sync/copy/upload etc 3) Geo tagging/meta data There are other features but those are my most used. The only thing I can think of that this app doesn't have is photo effects, such as vintage, white border effect etc but frankly that's not what this app is designed for and as you probably already know there are loads of apps on the app store that will do this for you for free. This version has one of the best video recording quality for iPhone 3G, 3GS, iPhone 4 and new iPod touch when video filters have been added. Exporting of EXIF is now supported. It has a clean interface and a straightforward operating environment. The icons are not clunky, nor do they get in the way of shooting. The application definitely shows care in planning and design, and for all its features (and there are so many!), remains easy and enjoyable to use. Contrary to what some reviewers have noted in here, the latest version of the app does allow you to sync the images in its “Quick Roll” with the iPhone’s library, as well as import images from the iPhone’s library to the app’s “Quick Roll.” I appreciated the way in which the design of the app does not get in the way of the photographer. The icons and various design touches are unobtrusive yet easy to access and helpful. Definitely worth the price tag..Version: 0

✓ Excellent camera and 100% complete AppAfter over one year of using this app, must admit this is the only camera app I use these days. Quarks and bugs from last year have been eliminated. Very reliable. And also very very complete: Has long had separate white balance (long touch) and focus (quick tap), e-Zoom (swipe) making it very complete. Fast (on an iphone 4). Very large collection of filters (including HDR and others) and borders for editing is really well done from a user interface perspective. Best, you can compare them to the original photo at all time and just swipe through to apply one filter after the other to very quickly determine the one that fits best. I am not sure why this app does not get the highest level of accolades as some other apps which are barely coming to the same level. I guess it is weaker marketing on their side. Was well my $2. ✓ Quik save saves this app!My original review was pretty harsh due to the total time it takes to get from startup to saved picture, and being ready to take another. Quick save fixes this, and the implementation is flawless. It works well with image stability, and is almost as fast as burst mode. It even makes the quick roll feature more understandable. I own a 3G, and only the 3GS got video, and I've been waiting ever since for the ability to record video on my 3G! This does a spectacular job. ✓ My favorite photo app, once more!Great app. I like shooting with filters. It feels more immediate than adding effects in post. This app is my favorite for this purpose. The UI is clean, the preset filters are well done. My one critique is that the controls are located on two black semitransparent bars on the top and bottom of the screen which obscures a significant portion of the picture. Maybe this is not a problem on the newer taller format iPhone screens but it is on an iPhone 4s. The controls are white and only need subtle drop shadows to be legible, thus not obscuring the view. I hope the developers will consider this feature request. Then it will get 5 stars from me. Note: This app used to be my favorite camera app but it was broken for many months. It would crash after a single picture. Glad to see it is fixed now, finally, so I gave it 4 instead of 1 star this time. I hope the developers will not be so sloppy in the future..Version: 5.0

✓ All I can say is... Wow.I'm always on the hunt for the next big "built-in Camera replacement". The previous version of Camera Plus Pro was what I had settled on, but I was never very happy with it. That has all changed with the recent update. Every single problem I had with the old version has been addressed: it is much more friendly to export files to the camera roll, the user interface now looks very nice and utilizes the retina display, it is more intuitive to switch between the quick roll and the camera, and a number of other updates that I hadn't really thought of, but now that they are there I'm pretty excited about. I suppose if there is any room for improvement, it would be support for more photo editing features like an expanded library of filters, borders, etc., but otherwise, this is definitely the camera replacement you are looking for..Version: 3.0

✓ Slight Problem.I used the previous version of this app and was happy with it. And I'm also happy with this version of the app, buttons are in better places etc, seems to be a bit faster. Only one problem I have come across so far is that after closing the app viewing a picture, then going back into the app, when you press back to go back to camera mode, it seems to crash and displays a white screen. It's easy to use, excellent quality photos, and has all the camera features you will need to take great photos. The best of these featured is the photo editing. You can give your photos that wow factor with just a few tweaks, some extra flash, trim the borders and a filter. The interface allows you to quickly try different editing settings and filters to see they improve your photos. Photos that were once too dark can be lightened to see hidden detail. Dull and seemingly uninteresting photos can be filtered to bring out their artistic content. I take three of four photos of the same thing and then try editing them. I usually find one photo that really transforms well after editing. I'm not a great photographer, but I'm always pleasantly surprised at how good the photos look after a little bit of editing. ✓ Feature rich, easy and fastThis is the 4th camera app I've downloaded recently. I finally found one with all the features I wanted... too many to list in a review. The exposure control has significantly improved my pictures. I only have a few minor complaints, I wish I could hide the Zoom control, the control for the flash in the upper left corner is only symbols instead of described (Off, Auto or On) and the settings are continuously displayed on the screen in the camera/video view. The ability to do some basic post-processing on my images is very welcome, given the poor image quality on the 2G and 3G iPhone cameras. I have no use for the "art" filters, but I am interested in getting the most of the crappy built-in camera. It would be great if the developers included the ability to pinch-zoom when editing an image. And (hint, hint) if they flesh this app out to enable rough editing of imported images from "real" cameras once the iPad is released, I'll be in photo heaven..Version: 0

✓ Latest version works properly.The latest update had corrected most of the issues experienced with previous versions. Under the in-app video options it's possible to use the native Apple video recording API which provides good quality full-frame-rate videos including sound and automatic use of the iPhone 4 flashlight. I love the camera roll feature. The only things missing from the app now are a high resolution icon and in-app icons (I see no difference despite what the app update claims) and a credible HDR mode for still photography. I would encourage the developers to collaborate with the developers of the "Pro HDR App" in this respect. All in all Camera Pro has returned to the great functionality it had in it's pre-iOS4 days. ✓ Worth having (:I think this gives the iPhone 3G a much needed layer. The iPhone 3G is a brilliant phone but without a flash and video recorder it is easy to miss capturing those special, funny and precious moments. This app (in a way) allows you to capture those moments. Though the camera is on par with the built-in camera and the video is of low quality, it still adds that layer. The editing options are good and the 'flash' option is better than dark photos (however it is far from brilliant). I see it as a 4* product and with improvement it could very well be a 5*. So taking pics is good, but I still need to use iLoader. Plz fix!!? ✓ Didn't get Pro at firstI have just downloaded this Camera Plus Pro, and all I've got is Camera plus, there is no Pro and I certainly don't get all the options shown above. I do get the option to upgrade to Pro but when I select it I get the message stating that I already have Pro, well I ain't and this has cost me £1.19p for a version that is shown as free. Will give their customer support a try and see what happens. Been onto Camera Plus Pro support, fantastic service, very quick reply, now have it working (I didn't sync my phone - dipstick) now it's working great and IS better than the standard iPhone camera. ✓ Best Camera AppDoes everything we need. Property Preservation company...we require photos to be dated! This app allows us to take pictures back to back. The app stores the photos right in the app and then you are able to "select all" (missing in most camera apps) the app recognizes which photos have already been uploaded and synced. You can then either share them directly from app via Flickr, Facebook, Picasa etc. or you can download to your camera roll. The only thing missing for me is the option to save to a different folder other than camera roll. Hope they add that to the next version! Kudos to the makers!.Version: 4.5

On my 3G iPhone it's awesome, photos are better exposed, the digital zoom works, with all the benefits/drawbacks of any other digital zoom. The video function works well too. I would like an "auto optimise/adjust button" but there might be one that I have not found yet. Anti-shake works well. The grid/guidelines overlay allows easy "rule of thirds composition". In all honesty I think you do need a little knowledge of photography to get the best out of this app, a little knowlege or reading will pay dividends. ✓ AmazingBought this app solely for the soft flash feature...it did not disappoint! Without it, most of my pics taken in my room like dark and gloomy. I also love the live filters; it can even be used for recording video - wow! Sharing is also easy to do with a few clicks. Just a note: if you record video, make sure "time lapse" isn't enabled. Also, when using the Camera Plus Pro software to take a video it comes out as 480x352 instead of the native 1280x720. So if you use the software's video effects be prepared to get a smaller video. ✓ Best of the camera appsIm really into photography and have tried many of the other camera apps like camer+, procamera and ivideocamera and I can say that this one is clearly the best. For starters it's interface is clear and easy to use. The buttons are big and clearly labeled making adjustment time fast. Special features it has over other apps are: • Upload integration with facebook, twitter, flickr and picasa. • A clear interface to review and choose which photos to save (this is a big deal, other apps make this process a hassle of multiple screens and sub menus). • Video filter effects (although they add in post) • Burst shooting • Tagging • Adjustable exposure (this was the main reason I bought this app, but am disappointed that it does lock the exposure) Cons: • no white balancing • uploading has failed on me when using 3G • zoom isn't smooth while taking video • exposure control is not full manual and only updates to what is on screen to reference light levels from. It's not perfect but it's the best out there. I choose this over all the rest because it's the easiest to use fast and let's me share my pictures and videos..Version: 4.0

I dont use this app for the filters because there are other apps that have better filters/effects (IMO) but with the update, I'm very tempted to try those new filters... It had all the great features of a top-notch camera app. It had a simple and easy to use interface, it had good editing features, a few filters, photo sharing features, etc. The one feature that was keeping this from being the top camera app on my phone was the lack of a video function. Now, it's here! Great job. This addition makes it a great default camera app to replace the stock Apple camera. But...with each update comes the wish for more. ✓ Good camera and editing in one place...I have many iPhone camera apps for taking and editing pix. Photogene, Photoshop, Best Camera and the like... I find this one up there with the best of them. Good picture quality, good tools etc all in one app. Avoid the zoom as it's digital, therefore utterly rubbish. No means to send pix to MMS. ✓ AlrightThis doesn't offer much improvement when taking images over the default camera application partially because most of the features like zooming are already integrated leaving very few reasons to get a third party camera application. However, Camera Plus offers the ability to edit the photos taken directly from the app. Some of the effects are pretty cool and you can crop the images to your liking. But the best part is its sleek interface but it isn't too special. You can also create timelapses but I doubt I'll be using it any time soon. They have always been extreamly responsive and very pleasent to deal with. I used CP Pro 1.2 until today when 1.3 became available. The zoom is very good and appears pixelated when taking the photo but smoothens out and sharpens once the photo is taken, the video recording is a must have for anybody with an iPhone 3G or 2G! Only changes I would make is to have the option of saving to the camera roll automatically, an option for moving subjects & perhaps an al servo mode for capturing moving objects in sequence.
