✓ The greatest Currency Convertor appI bought two Currency Convertor apps previously but I was not happy with them, so I decided to check to see if someone came up with a better app. When I first looked at the Screen Shots for this iCurrency Pad, I could not believe my eyes. It was exactly what I was expecting this app to be. I encourage anybody engaging in finance or traveling to another country where you have to do quick currency conversions to get it immediately. It is one of my prized apps. Once the EC conversion is fixed, which Sollico say would be done in two weeks, this is a perfect app. Worth more! I would pay $3.99 for it..Version: 0

✓ Nice!I know this sounds crazy but I am traveling to every country in the world in one year. In the last three months, I have been to over 55 countries already. I've tried other converter apps but I must say that this app is priceless. It is easily the most useful app on my iPhone considering what I am doing. Every day or two I'm arriving in a new country and as I approach the ATM machine, I load this app and put it to use. Whenever I am recording purchases into my budget, all currency is converted here first. It uses the network to determine conversion but when there is no 3g network available (i.e. Africa) it uses the last available data. ✓ Has every single currency at the touch of a button!People complaining that it doesn't have their currency clearly haven't looked at the bottom of the screen which lets u change between the majors and all others. You can add your own currency to the majors or easy access. Great graphing tool also, I'm a swing trader so I like to keep up to date on my currencies. There are downsides though. The rates may be a little out of date, by out of date I mean by 15 min perhaps despite having them updated. It's only really important to someone like me so really it's quite minor. There are free apps for currency conversion, but the functionality here is worth the 1$. 5* Ideas: allow larger digits, diff colors of to-from currency boxes, manual update button on calc pad. Also, the middle circle (swap) simply swaps the same currency parts around, but does not change the amount (as expected); USD 100 = AUD 112. If I click the swap, I wanto to see AUD 100 = USD 89 (NOT AUD 112 = USD 100, which simply moves the currencies around).Version: 0

✓ Would be almost perfect... with a bit more debuggingThis is a really great app when it's working smoothly, which it usually is -- excellent interface and really impressive live data (though it appears to be European, so be prepared for a lack of afternoon trading in North America). My problems don't normally extend to crashes, though I have seen a couple. What's most frustrating is when the app decides to invert the graph scale when you change the time scale (so instead of CAD per AUD, suddenly you're seeing AUD per CAD). Also, the labelling of the graphs isn't perfect, which means that sometimes the graph simply doesn't agree perfectly with the (correct) numerical exchange rate. However, trends are fine, provided you keep an eye on the direction of the exchange. One important tip: to get a more precise exchange, change the amount to 10000, because the default numerical precision isn't that great for following trading over a day..Version: 1.5

✓ Absolute value for money!I convert currencies on a regular basis, and have tried a number of apps including ConvertBot, Units and others. I still use ConvertBot for general unit conversions (it's fantastic) but I also have iCurrencyPad soley for currency conversion. Although other multi purpose unit converters will convert currency for me; the additional value that iCurrencyPad offers makes it absolutely worth spending the extra money for a dedicated currency converter. The interface is hands-down the cleanest and most attractive I have ever seen on any app, and useability is absolutely superb. Additional features include; the ability to perform basic calculator functions (like adding import duty and GST) while seeing the results simultaneously in both currencys and viewing the rates of exchange on the same screen as the currency units. The currency graph (showing change over time) is simply fantastic - it also allows you to swipe back through time to view exact rates on any particular day, while the currency board is as useful as any you would expect to find in any bank window. iCurrencyPad allows the user to easily toggle between all currencies and a custom list of your favourites, without having to go into settings! If you are a regular user of currency conversation but already have a mutli-purpose unit converter, then your money will not be wasted by adding iCurrencyPad to your app collection as a dedicated currency converter..Version: 0

I did notice that the Japanese yen appeared to be missing, not sure if this is because it is unavailable from the source providers or it's an omission. ✓ Update did work!!Corrected review - my use of AdGuard was blocking updates!! Ignore my previous review below. I’m delighted to confirm this app is functional and does update :D I use AdGuard and it turns out it was this that was blocking the currency updates since the last fix was issued for this all. Turned off AdGuard and the exchange rates update from Yahoo worked perfectly. Apologies to the Dev for my mistake, and a huge “thank you!” for fixing this much loved app 😎 Previous review (for background): This is a great app that has been broken for sometime - exchange rates would not update (both ECB and Yahoo feeds did not update). The dev issued a couple of updates recently that looked like they were intended to fix that. They didn’t work. As of today, this app is non-useable as all exchange rates are incorrect and cannot currently be updated..Version: 3.7.1

Negative reviews for this come from very unreasonable people who could have used a free app loaded with ads, in the mean time.
