✓ W00t!I just installed this app and it is working great! Sometimes I cannot access a computer\server remotely with RDP and you just need to reboot the thing. Well I don't need to find a PC\Mac and open up DOS\Terminal to run a remote shutdown \ restart command when you have this App. Quick and easy! I love that it is free and I can also view my services. Great for people who image computers with PXE and need to restart the service. I am going to buy the add-on for this app. Just what I was looking for..Version: 0
✓ Works as expected, but ...This is perfect for my needs, it works perfectly whenever I need to shutdown my lappy or PC. it was a faff to setup, but if you have a computer and know how to read the instructions or do a simple search via Bing (or yahoo or, forgot the other search engine, hahaha), setting up admin account in xp, win7 etc, is relatively easy, and you don't need a stupid bonjour enabled 'server' software which fails if the software is updated. With this, if you cannot connect to the computer to shut it down, then it is already turned off..Version: 1.1

✓ Ignore naysayersFantastic app - works really well = the paid for features are excellent and well worth it - comes with very good instructional material - if you cant connect to your computer using the app you obviously havent bothered to read the faqs - vista and 7 administrator accounts are disabled aby default in all cases!! just because the user account you log on with says it has administrator privileges doesnt mean it is THE administrator account. love browsing shares and checking services and remotely powering off my machines with this app. get the i-net app aswell and you can wake those machines back up again with wake on lan ;) this app rawks!.Version: 0

✓ Great bit of kitI have a service, which is a bit unstable. This is just the job to quickly stop and restart it without fiddling with remote desk top. Had to fettle with the windows firewall to get it working remotely, but now works like a dream. Instant support response by email. Highly recommended..Version: 2.0

✓ ExcellentThis app is really handy for shutting down and basic management of MS servers. If it also included WOL that would be the icing on the cake. Customer support has been excellent too, the last release got broken by IOS 8 and after initially advising there was no plan to update it, some weeks later an email arrived saying a new version had been submitted..Version: 2.0

✓ Must have for AdministratorsYou can set up access to multiple machines. Shut down processes or entire pc. When you get that HELP phone call. See all running applications and processes and fix it from wherever you are. A real life saver. Combine it with netportal or the browser this company also sells and you have all you need to be the hero of the IT dept..Version: 1.1

✓ Great!This app is great! As a sysadmin this app has made my life easier at work. Able to connect to Windows XP, 7, Server 2000, 2003, 2008, 2008 R2 and control services with no problems. Support is great and many issues are addressed very well on their website. This app paired with their NetPortal app are probably the 2 most useful Windows IT administration apps I use! ✓ Works for meWindows 7-64, static IP, firewall off, usual login, it just worked. The free version doesn't support reboot but who cares, I just want to be able to shut down when I'm done watching a streamed Air Video. This is just the job! Next thing is to define a Windows firewall rule, but that's nothing to do with the app and won't impact this review even if it's trickier than I expect..Version: 0
✓ Does what it says on the tinWorks perfectly. Needed an app to simply shut down a remote server. I use WOL to switch it on for streaming purposes, once done, shut it down with this app. I wouldn't mind spending the premium IF it would support WOL as well so I don't have to use two apps :) It is working perfectly on Server 2008R2 btw..Version: 1.1

✓ FantasticDoes exactly what it says and DOES work without having to install any stupid programs on the PCs. Make sure you set up the admin account on your PC correctly if you do this it will work. So much quicker then having to log into a server and initiate a shutdown command..Version: 1.1

✓ Sc to the rescue!Was just in the mountains on a hike when I received a call from a client stating the blackberry server was "down". With this particular server, a reboot has never failed to fix it(that or restarting all the bes services). Established a VPN to the site, connected to the box with server control, reboot, and they were back up in a few min. Server control saved my sat hike! Thanks guys!.Version: 1.1

✓ Need an iPad versionThis software works great on my iPhone, but on the iPad it's only so-so. I noticed I cannot access shares when connecting from my iPad. Also the screen resolution size is made for the iPhone. I can 2x it, but then it distorts..Version: 1.1
✓ Great for home or workThis is probably the best techi app I've used. It uses windows built in RPC service so no silly agents to install. Providing the administrator account is enabled and password set on remote pc it works like a charm. I even use it over VPN to work. The purchased adons are worth it to so you can restart or manage a remote service. Top dollar!!.Version: 1.1
