- The International English Edition of MAGNIFICAT (Léonie Caldecott, Editor-in-Chief) contains readings, texts, and the Liturgical calendar appropriate for English-speaking countries using the Jerusalem Bible (Australia, Ireland, UK, etc.).
Subscribers to the print edition receive complimentary App access. For first-time users, the App is free from the day it is installed until the end of that month, at which time you can subscribe on our website or through the App*.

✓ Update - MUCH Improved! RE: Really disappointingThis update is worlds better than the previous version! Works quickly, user friendly, and has everything at your fingertips (can even click over and back to Canticles easily). No error messages so far, looking forward to using this more regularly. Tip: you can adjust the font size in the settings (very helpful). Old review: I love Magnificat and am so disappointed in this app. It very rarely works, I get constant error messages saying it's ready for download and after hitting Continue like 30 times it will just go back to the log in. The content is great and has good design but there has to be a way to get the app to work! Who's the patron saint of Smartphones? ;).Version: 5.0.2

✗ MagnificatI was so excited by this app and have been looking forward to it. I was really disappointed that you need to have a connection at all times to use it. That's not always an option for an iTouch user. I'm further disappointed that this point isn't in the description. I really enjoy the Magnificat publication and was looking forward to having it on my iPod, but I'll be going back to iMissal for my daily readings..Version: 0
✗ Clunky & requires Internet connectionAt the very least you must connect once a day to download each section. Can't even view credits or About without being connected to the Internet. Forget it. Both free and paid apps are out there that will provide the same material and more without the constant need for wi-fi or 3G.Version: 0
