✓ They ask for extra money just to import on your computerThe app seems to be working fine however they ask you to pay more money if you wish to export your files on computer, trim memos and email. In my opinion those things should come free!.Version: 1.4.5
✓ Kenneth Kao, greedy developer.I just recorded a rehearsal using this app. I would have gladly paid $5 to have the ability to email all the mp3s to the bandmates. $.99 each song, though?!?!? What the crap? Make hay while the sun shines, I guess... As soon as the official app comes, you have nothing but an expensive knock-off. The sad part is that I would love to put five dollars in your pocket for this. But, because of the price per email, you won't get a single penny from me. Change your price to a one time fee, and I give you a bunch more stars and a bunch more money. EDIT UPDATE Just spend $4 on another app that emails for free, every time..Version: 0

The one major missing element which may send me seeking an alternative is that you can't name the files, only label them in one of several categories. ✓ KendiTech RecorderThis is annoying. I bought the app and recorded the first memo. From reading the reviews, I knew ahead of time that I needed to buy a second app to transfer the memo to my computer. Unfortunately, it won't let me buy it! I keep getting the message "You must purchase the app that this item is for before you can purchase the item". Apart from advising KendiTech to invest in a good copywriter - I'm stuck and can't transfer file to the PC. I clicked on support for the app and was delivered into a non responding website. ✓ No Customer serviceThis app has made great recordings without an issue, but I m unable to sync it with iTunes. Customer service is non existent as no one has return the several emails I have sent over the last week or so. It is a shame as the recording app itself is fine. How difficult would it be to make an instruction page on their website for trouble shooting. Not returning emails is the worst type of business. I will hve to look elsewhere due to their lack of response?.Version: 1.8

✓ Took away functionality then want to charge again for it in updateUpdating Review below. Some update or another TURNED OFF functionality of moving the file to your computer. I HAD original cost for app, AND paid .99 to turn on e-mail function. NOW it wants another .99 cents to copy the file off the app onto my computer when I sync it in iTunes. Scam. I'm going to find an app that won't keep downgrading when it is updated then have to pay to do what I used to do. First the cost total is 99 cents for the app and 99 cents for turning on the e-mail function. You do not need the e-mail piece to get recorded files off the iPad - the latest release lets you do that in iTunes. Reasonable sound quality - even when only using iPad built-in mic. E-mail function crashes if the memo is too long/big. I recorded 45 minute lecture, will not e-mail off iPad - crashes program. (not surprising, file is probably too big for my e-mail provider to accept as attachment) Keep that in mind if you are traveling (have to connect to iTunes to get longer recordings off iPad). Otherwise works well. 15 minute memo e-mailed just fine..Version: 1.4.5
✓ CompatibilityDownloaded this app the other day...very excited to have a recorder. After two days of attempting to get the meter to register so something ANYTHING is recorded it has failed. The app creator offered some things to check but from reading the forums it would seem apple is the one who needs to fix this and thus far has not. I must caution you that until they do you may be sorely out of luck. It seems unfair to rate this poorly when it seems it is in apple's corner..Version: 2.2

All Ap Store users, I recommend deleting any ap that changes the conditions downward from when you buy it if you had to pay for it in the first place. ✓ OK app, but...This app works fine as advertised, but only when I have access to the web. When I don't have Wi-fi I can't seem to record anything because the program always wants to connect to the Internet, BEFORE it will start recording. So if you have access to a connection, works great. If you'll need it in a location without a connection, may want to try something else..Version: 0
✓ Good but it is really a $2 appAfter spending an hour, and a lot of frustration, trying to figure out why my recordings were not syncing back to my Mac, I found out you have to pay an additional $1 to be able to enable the app to export your recordings back to your computer. This should be made clear when buying the program. ✓ Buyer BewareI purchased this product recorded great BUT beware it will cost you again a one off fee to transfer your recording to your computer which is rediculas you cannot even sync your recording with i-tunes it does not show up. And only when you pay the second time to transfer it, the recording will only be available NOT on itunes but in a folder of your making. Also it shows you the screenshots of the product and in the middle screenshot showing TAG, Podcast, Interview, etc also a nice notes box which is not on the product you d/l and gives the impression you can rename your voice memo this is NOT so, yes you can rename it when on your computer but not in the program and you cannot put the recording back after its named so I do not know where they got the middle screenshot..Version: 0
✓ Not a user friendly app when emailingThe makers of this app give the impression that if you pay the extra amount to email your message it's easy....it is NOT! I have a 26 minute message that I'd like to email and after purchasing the app, I'm being given additional instructions and things I have to do to download the file to something else or somewhere else just to email it! I never would have bought the app knowing the difficulty in emailing the thing! Boo hiss! :(. Not user friendly at all! If you JUST want to record and keep the recording on your iPad fine! ✓ DowngradedThe recorder USED to me awesome and had amazing sound quality. It was just upgraded the other day but in my opinion downgraded. Now when I replay the files the sound either comes from only one side of the iPad, or out of one speaker if plugged in, and I am almost certain the quality has gotten worse since the upgrade. ✓ Recorder appMy mom an I purchased iPad2 at the same time, we both purchased this recorder app to record "talks" at (at the kingdom hall) at the same time. Mine works great so far-the longest I recorded was 68min w/no problem. My mother recorded hers for 73min and the recorder would not play back. ✓ Very Limited and poor functionalityI bought this because I needed to save some phone messages. It is easy to use and the recording was just as clear as the original messages. There were two things that really bugged me about it. It wouldn't allow me to Save a custom label. I have to type it in every time. And the most annoying thing is that when you want to type in the note box the ipad keyboard covers it so you can't even see what you're typing! That alone made me cringe!.Version: 1.4.6

✓ Turns off mirroring!This app works well and looks great. I bought it because it said it ran in the background. I do PowerPoint presentations on my iPad and push them to my projector with Mirroring. I wanted to be able to record the audio as I gave the presentation but this app turns OFF mirroring as soon as you start to record. So I wasted my money. Will not work for me and I will never use it for anything else. I wish developers would give more details on their apps!!!!!.Version: 1.6
✓ OkayIf you are looking for an app to work with Voice Memo recordings from an iPod, which sync over to your iPad, this is not it. It would seem the wheel has been reinvented with the iPod Voice Memo app and nothing else can see its files. If there is no way to hear iPod Voice Memo files on an iPad, why do they sync over? ✓ CheatsOK I call cheat, this app is ok, that is, it does what it's supposed to do and apart from pretty shoddy graphics, for 59p, it's fine. BEWARE though. To do anything with your voice memos, including emailing them, you have to spend another 59p (in app purchase) I don't mind a free app that charges for extra features, but this is dishonest. ✓ Terrible "app support"I had a problem with the Voice Memo app--a 70 minute file locked and I couldn't open it. I wrote an email to two separate addresses asking the app's tech support for help. 24 hours later, still no word from anyone. This is a disgraceful performance. ✓ Why are you still asking me to buy this?The app is a decent bare bones voice recorders. But it's export being limited to m4a is a problem, but not an overwhelming one. What really annoys me is the continual asking for the $0.99 every time I try and export, even when I bought the product. I removed the free version from my ipad, and from my idunes, and from the app folder in my profile, then clicked "buy" in the itunes store. I was told I already bought it and it asked me to re-download it, which I did. I then recored a voice memo and tried to share it and again I was asked to buy it again. ✓ The world is not flat... But I guess it's getting flatter. =(I use this app only occasionally, but I've always liked the look of it. It does a good job for what it is. Had I been paying attention, I would not have updated to the new version. I understand that this current trend for a flatter look and feel is being driven by Microsoft and now Apple. I hope it's just a passing fad. I don't prefer over the top skeuomorphism but I don't care for the flat, soulless look on the horizon either. The new flatter design is rather boring looking.
