✓ PERFECTI'm an English teacher in China and this app is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I needed something to record practice interview exams with my students, and the iPad has a great little microphone and speaker for recording and playing back their interviews, and the interface couldn't be easier to use. You can even pause the recording in the middle, perfect for me for the part of the interview where the student is given one minute to think about a given topic before speaking for two minutes. This way I don't have a minute of silence in the middle of the recording that I have to fast forward through later. Outstanding! The only thing I can think of that might make it better for me is if the recordings could be organized into folders or something like that. Still a great app though and well worth the $1!!.Version: 0
✓ Just what I needed!This app is just what I needed! (This iPad didn't come with the voice memos app like my iPhone did) I'm in college and I learn best if I have recordings of the lectures and am able to takes notes at the same time. This app allowed me to record and use Microsoft Word app at the same time. Plus there's no annoying ads! This is well worth $2!.Version: 2.5

✓ Well worth the priceDear Voice memos+ app developer, I just purchased your app for $1.99 this morning. Would you please add more functionality in the next upgrade? I currently use the iPhone 4's Voice Memos app to record background vocals/ideas. I then transfer the m4a recordings to my iPad which does not show me an icon for the iPad version of Voice Memos. That's why I bought your Voice memos+ app. Your app does not give me the option to play m4a sound files that I recorded and transferred over to my iPad. I would also like the ability to see visual symbols of the sound amplitude in your next upgrade. I will send you a screen shot to follow in the next email. Can you give me an idea of when your next upgrade is projected to release? Also, what is the file extension of your app sound recording files? At the very bottom of this screen shot you can see the sound spikes of my sound recording. I like having this kind of visual cue for sound recording layering and other purposes. I also want your next upgrade to have the ability to pull my iPhone 4 voice memos sound recordings m4a files and transfer them over to your app. I would also like help files and/or a FAQ built into the app. I would like the ability to import sound files off of my email inbox and over into your app. I would like an iPhone version of your app. I have older iPhones 3 and 4. I am unlikely to upgrade to newer iPhones. The $1.99 price for the iPad version of this app is a very fair price because there are no annoying ads and this basic app does the job of recording memos. Of course, you can use it to records vocals for song ideas or background vocal ideas or other similar singing and recording ideas. For what it is I give this app a grade of B. I hope to move my rating for the next upgrade up to a grade of A after the app developers implement all of my suggestions. Hence, my current 4 star rating..Version: 2.6

✓ Heaven-SentI just purchased this app and feel that it was/is such a blessing, even if I never use it again. I was able to record the last voice message from my beloved sister (deceased) and store it safely in the cloud. I have been hanging on to a 10-year-old Motorola Razr for fear of losing this particular message. The voice quality is excellent, easy to use, easy to share/email/store. ✓ Very good APPEveryone is correct that it's 2$ since you need to pay another .99c to be able to email the recording to anyone. Thats definitely a cheesy move. The sound quality is great, and you can record as long as you like which is nice. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it would be nice to be able to edit the recording overall. I use it for Band practice and it's great for that when we are working on new songs, BUT it would be nice to be able to just hit record at the beginning of practice and then edit and label the songs to email everyone after. You quickly have to get in the habit of remembering to start and stop recording each time. ✓ Simply a great app!As a singer/guitarist, this app is great for making home demo recordings. Simply hit record & stop. You can then trim your recording to take out those rough edges at the start & end of your tune. I also like the fact that you can email your recording to friends, family etc... ✓ A Great App with Amazing Audio QualityThis app is great. I don't use voice memo apps a lot but this one is the one I will turn to the next time I need to create a voice memo. The audio quality is incredible and I just recorded a two second memo to test it. It is truly amazing and i applaud the developer on their work. The $0.99 update is only worth it if you need it. ✓ Great appNow I can finally let go of my portable cassette player. This is a great app for recording interviews. Much easier to record and transcribe than a cassette. I also had an Olympus digital voice recorder gizmo, but the files from that do not open on my new computer. This app is perfect for recording interviews. I have it on my iPad Air and iPad 3. ✓ Like voice memos on the iPhoneIf you would like to see the voice memos app you're used to on the iPhone on the iPad, this may well be the app for you. I particularly like the multitasking feature which displays a red indicator in the menu bar to show when you're recording. Sound quality seems very good at close range (I haven't tried the app at longer distances like lecture settings). You should be aware that it costs another 69p as an in-app purchase if you want to export the audio files to iTunes or email them. I was aware of this and didn't mind making another purchase for these features. The interface is nicer than some of the other available apps. There is a small bug. When you add a note to the audio file, the keyboard covers the text box so that you can't see what you're typing by default. However you can change the position of the iPad keyboard. Touch and hold the key that hides the keyboard and touch the 'undock' option which appears. You then then drag the keyboard up so you can see what you're typing!.Version: 1.4.6
✓ You can multitaskWhen you are recording, you should see a red stripe going across the top of he screen. Go into your new application. When you are done, do not close it. Rather, tap on that stripe across the top. Tis will take you back to the recorder... I hope this helps....Version: 1.5
✓ Now that I've really used it...The sound recording quality is excellent, the interface is easy to use. The only thing that keeps it from being five stars is after paying the .99 to enable the export and share capability, I expected teh advertisement bar to go away. When I am reading something scripted, it can be very distracting. It is also unprofessional to have the advertiseing bar there when you want to use the product to record others or have others listen to recordings in a business environment. ✓ Great ToolGreat since iPad doesn't have one pre-loaded like iPhone. I use it to record song work tapes and rehearsal run throughs, then load the results up to Dropbox to share with the other musicians who need listen back and it works perfectly. The trim on the mic always comes out fine for these quick recordings whether I'm alone with an acoustic instrument or there's drums 5 feet away, I use it all the time. First app review I've written and have had an iPhone since 3G came out, so definitely happy with it. It's a great sound recording and sharing utility, the graphics (which looked fine in both versions people are talking about) are irrelevant, right?.Version: 2.0
