✓ Landscape view for iPad? Please‽I’m looking for an improved dictionary app for my iPad, and downloaded this app, as it was featured by the App Store as an iPad dictionary, however it is only usable in portrait view. This small limit of function, unfortunately, makes the whole app useless to me on my iPad, which i use with a laptop case attachment at my desk, so rotating to landscape is really inconvenient when I’m back & forth between apps working. Let me know if the app is updated and improved for ipad usage and i may just come back for all the other features offered in the app..Version: 7.2.27

✓ V Useful. ^ ^I just quickly Installed this app because I needed to find a thesaurus quick, but after being on it I think it's rather useful. I mean, obviously there are limitations to what a dictionary or a thesaurus can do, however I find it very convenient that both are in the same application. And no need for Internet, which is all the more better. One thing I can criticise it about, is that the voice recognition doesn't seem to pick up what I'm saying and i think I'm speaking clearly but it just doesn't seem to pick up the right words, then again that's just an addition to this app since you don't really need it. But when it opens up again, it by default goes back to the previously searched item which is 'back stab', then crashes again; which creates a non-stop cycle of crashing. ✓ Very useful and informative app...I built this up gradually to contain all the extra contents and have been very happy with the output. The dictionary, thesaurus, idioms and translator have been particularly useful. Not to say that it is foolproof but gets most input to a satisfactory conclusion. Very useful on iPad as I am bed bound and the tablet is small enough to lie next to me at bed to pick up constantly to check on spelling and the etymology of words and phrases. I read a great deal of literature,mostly non-fiction and text books, also German tomes and the translator is very helpful. The option and inclusion of the Thesaurus is a real bonus although my only tip/request would be that the Thesaurus be accessible on the same page as the dictionary so when you looked up a work both the definition and the thesaurus options came up together rather than having to access Thesaurus via a different app page. ✓ Its a really great dictionaryIf you’re on your iPhone or read your iPad holding it portrait. The problem for me is that it won’t rotate to landscape. Personally I read books using landscape rotation on my iPad. I researched how to get it to rotate with no success. I also wrote to the company, explained the situation and asked if there was a way to to get it to rotate. Its a hassle to have to turn it especially if you’re reading historical novels. I did receive a Kind response asking me what the issue is. I explained again and then correspondence ended. I use it once in a while..Version: 7.2.17

I thought it couldn't get any better when the 'learner' section actually was useful and interesting to check on subtle grammar issues and such, when I found the discreet translator function hiding in the top right. Great range of add-ons that increase the cost somewhat but still very good value given the functionality they add.
