Feeddler RSS News Reader for Positive User Reviews

Simply awesomeConsidering that I use my google reader as primary source of markets and economy analyzing, this app is heavenly. It's now rare that I use the reader on my desktop as this has taken over. Must have for rss addicts..Version: 1.11

AmazingThis is my first iPhone after moving from blackberry os6 which has built in rss feeds...that was brilliant! And this app does the job too! Not many features, but who cares because it does exactly what it says on the tin.Version: 1.11

Does the job very well!My only problem is that it makes the font so large..Version: 1.11

MrEasy to use I wish read more would append the text rather than reloading the page..Version: 1.12.3

Best app on the market, not perfect thoughThe interface is amazingly minimal, clean and usable. The syncronization is perfect all the time. I gave it only 4 stars just because sometimes goes on crash (you just need to close it and re-open it then) but especially I've been really let down from the swiping, really really bad working. Anyway best app reader on the market (I've tried all the others). After the new version, some of improvements but still problems with the swiping..Version: 1.12.3

Best RSS news readerI’ve used this RSS reader since it came out and the previous version. This is the RSS news reader you want. The layout is simple and easy to organize. It works with many services and allows you to use more than one. I highly recommend this app..Version: 4.3

Netnewswire for the iPadIf you have used net newswire on the Mac, and want to read the same feeds on your iPad using a similar interface - then go for this. It does not try to be visual, it just works. For my feeds this is what I want. I follow a lot of feeds, and the text based presentation works for me much better than the graphical approach. Missing was the ability to edit feeds, but a new version just downloaded promises it, here's hoping. Give it a go, I found it the best of about half a dozen I tried..Version: 0

Simply excellentA brilliant app! I used MobileRss before but was really disappointed when an update messed up the preview function. I especially love how quick this app is and how easily you can see the full text of an article without having to visit its web site. Highly recommended!.Version: 1.12.5

Pretty goodNice app. Does what it sets out to do, give me access to rss feeds from across e web. Linking to my Google Reader account is a nice added feature. thanks for the great app guys :).Version: 0

Pretty goodIt really became an important part of my life, but although most of the time it works like a charm, a few features would be nice to have, like resetting articles as unread. When that comes in, I'll give you guys 5 stars for sure..Version: 1.12.5

AWESOME APP!!!Not a lot can be said about an app that is intuitive, fast and a pleasure to use. It just works flawlessly, period. Thanks.Version: 1.12.5

BrilliantI've been using this App for a couple of years now and it has not let me down yet. My daily read b4 bed.Version: 1.12.5

Great appTried a couple feed readers, but came back to this one. My favourite !.Version: 1.12.5

Excellent RSS readerVery very pleased with the free version, it does everything I could want it to do and is a great assist in my day to day work. I would love to pay for the pro version but in all honesty the free one fulfills all my needs and I don't currently need any of the features offered in the pro one..Version: 1.11

Best RSS reader I've triedI've tried a few RSS readers before and this one is by far the best one. It syncs perfectly with Google Reader so I can go from my computer to my iPad or iPhone without any problems. It looks great on the iPad's big screen and it makes great use of the iPhone's smaller one. The part that I love the most is the fact that it shows the unread count over 20 for each feed. I've used some other apps and they only show the latest 20 or so unread posts, so if you don't check it for a while, you'll definitely miss some. I went on vacation for a week and when I came back I had a lot more than 20 unread posts on each feed and Feeddler gave me a true count. I don't find the ads intrusive, even on the iPhone where there is less room for the actual content. It's a small price to pay in order to keep this app free. The only problem I have with this app, however, is that if you use it for a while it gets a little buggy and some strange animations start popping up. If you just close the app in the multitasking pane at the bottom and then open it back up again, it's fine. Even with that, I would still recommend this app, especially to people who follow a lot of news sites or blogs, like I do..Version: 1.10

It's an app that you'd pay for without a doubtI've literally just downloaded this app and I have to say (even though I probably haven't even used all the app's features yet) that it's very, VERY well done. Its professional, clean and I'll put it this way, it's an app that you'd pay for without a doubt. Why only 4 stars? Well I haven't used it long enough to say it's perfect so I'm just being prudent :- ) But I'm guessing that it'll be a 5 star app based on what I have seen so far! Cheers to the developer(s)? appreciate your effort!.Version: 1.11

Good reader appGood app, easy to read feeds, keep certain ones unread or open links in safari. Annoying: that banner ad down the bottom - surely there can be a paid version to get rid of that? And also images don't zoom in the app (and their alt text isn't displayed)..Version: 1.12.5

Very decent appNot bad. You still get a lot of features with it. I did not like The fact that you had to pay for the pro app separately instead of just upgrading it. But other than that it’s a decent app.Version: 4.3

This is my To Go AppIt keeps getting better. With the latest update to allow selecting notebooks when sending to Evernote, I can't think of anything else that I want with this app. One of my jobs is a part time medical librarian. It allows me to gets feeds no matter where I am and forward to the people who are interested as well as save the posts to locations were others have access to them. It's fast, easy, compressive and it more than gets the job done..Version: 1.12.5

Great RSS reader......once you get used to it as it isn't obvious how you set up the feeds. Once Safari stopped providing an RSS reader in IO6 on the iPad, even though the feeds were all still bookmarked, it took ages to work out that I could Copy the RSS feed addresses (via Edit Bookmarks) but I then painstakingly entered each one into Feedler and now I have them all again. But more facilities than are totally needed, I'd say..Version: 1.12.3

Straightforward and capableThis app does a great job of making everyday RSS reading quick and easy, and the built-in 'full text' view is usually enough for feeds that don't contain the full article, without having to go out to the web browser to load the full-on web page. A problem with weird slow animations was fixed by restarting my iPhone..Version: 1.11

Love that you stay in app when following linksI Really like this app. But there was a learning curve to get used to it. When you follow a link while in the app you actually stay in the app which makes it really easy to navigate. Up in the right-hand corner while you're in the app you will see you back arrow or several back arrows and then RSS button. The back arrow takes you back one step the RSS takes you right back to the feed. I haven't had any trouble with the app and I'm really glad I got it.Version: 1.12.3

FantasticI've been using feeddler pro for some time now. Absolutely love this new version for ios 8. The developer has refined this app really well..Version: 3.1

Best google reader client I've usedI've been using google reader as my preferred way of reading blogs for some years and have tried a few different apps to transfer it to my iPad and iPhone. Feeddler is either best one I found. I've since deleted the other ones. Considered going pro, but the price is quite steep for not much benefit as the free version is so good!.Version: 1.11

ReviewIt froze a couple of times when the connection dropped out while loading and had to restart phone to recover. Otherwise it's great.Version: 1.11

Easy to use, high quality, problem-free app.Synchs perfectly with Google Reader. Easy to navigate. Displays posts and images well. I don't think it has ever crashed on me. Use it nearly every day. Highly recommended!.Version: 1.11

Free and does what you needA few quirks, but doesn't really phase the experience of flicking through your favourite feeds while you're forever alone at a cafe.Version: 1.12.3

Great app to replace safari RSS functionalityWas a bit worried when safari lost RSS functionality, however this app has proved to be a better alternative. Presenting everything nicely and syncing between iPad and iPhone is great, i would like a Mac client by this company too though!.Version: 1.12.3

Great app! This is the best app I have got and use it almost daily!.Version: 1.11

Great, but room for improvementI really like this RSS reader. Unlike many of the readers on the App Store, it doesn't try and present everything like a magazine or some kind of crazy social media mashup. Instead it sticks to the formula that has worked well for years: a list of stuff for you to read. It maintains the Apple look and feel and for the most part feels like a first party app. My only gripe are the Ads, which have a nasty habit of moving around while you're scrolling, and making the view look weird for a short while. Otherwise, this is the classic way to read RSS on the iPhone..Version: 1.12.4

Intuitive and feature-ful, with just one annoyanceThis is a nice, well-maintained little feed reader. I started using it to keep up with my Google Reader account, and I liked it immediately. When Google Reader was nearing the end of its life, I found that Feeddler was already prepared to let me use a number of compatible alternatives (I settled on BazQux). Kudos to the author for keeping it up. I consider it one star short of perfection due to the lack of a landscape orientation when browsing headlines. Landscape mode can still be used while reading, but then I have to keep rocking my iPhone back and forth when switching between articles and headlines; it's almost worse than having no landscape mode at all. I still like the app well enough that I may buy into the paid version..Version: 2.0.1

Really goodCons: only problem I have with the program is when i use it for too long the gyro stuffs up and I have to close the whole application for 10 mins before trying to use it again. would like to see a repeat tag option, so I don't have to re write the tag per feed. pros: love how easy it is to use, the option to keep all my feeds up on my iPad, but only have the unread ones available on the smaller iPhone screen. very easy to send feeds to Evernote. great format. overall I really like using this app, would recommend it to anyone..Version: 1.12.3

Great appVery pleased with the app, only bug is the perpetual "loading" box occasionally. Need to kill app in app manager and open again to resolve problem..Version: 1.11

Fantastic!Really the best..Version: 2.0

Good but needs workI really like this app over the normal Google reader I use however I have some issues that are preventing me from upgrading to the pro version: first, how do I star an article? It looks like it's just marking as read or unread. Second, when I mark all articles as read, it doesn't refresh the article list. Even after re-syncing, and with it set to only show me unread/new articles, the articles I just marked as read still show. Fix those, and I'll pay to upgrade..Version: 0

Great feed reader!I tried BlogLovin and Feedly, but I just didn't like the lack of organization in them. I much prefer to be able to read the blog I want with ease; some days I only have time to read a few posts, and am looking for the info usually given from a particular blog. I don't want to waste time digging through every single post that has been made from every single blog I subscribe to at those times! With this app, I can put my blogs into categories that easily let me read about "allergy cooking" or "money" without digging through "arts and crafts" or "parenting" blogs. Later, when I have time, I can go back and read everything...but I LOVE the option to not be forced to every time I open the reader! Great app!.Version: 2.1

Best RSS readerBest RSS reader IMHO!.Version: 4.3

Pretty good, but not perfectHaving used various blogging platforms on both the PC and my iPhone, this is good but not great. The platform itself is stable, easy to set up and simple to navigate around, but compared to the one I use on my phone, is very short on features. Pictures cannot be positioned within the text, or formatted at all - they just automatically appear at the bottom of the post (and are often too big for the text and "overhang" the page when posted, and there's no options to format your text at all - no italics, no bold or underline. In short, it's great at the basic stuff, but could do with some additional features being added..Version: 1.12.5

Best of the bunchI've tried a few RSS apps, and finally I've found one that meets my needs. It would've got 5 stars except the offline capabilities are unpredictable and often need to be reloaded. Having stuff to read on airplanes is valuable to me..Version: 1.12.4

Better if all feeds worked! Not bad if you're not too selective with feeds. Out of about 5 feeds I've only had success with three. The DavidIcke page for instance doesn't work. Otherwise, good app!.Version: 2.0

Very happyAs an avid iPhone reader I find this app adds the ease and polish I need and gives a significant boost over the standard Google product. Competence without fuss - excellent..Version: 1.11

Excellent UIMy favourite RSS app and I've tried quite a few of them..Version: 3.3

Excellent iPad RSS ReaderI've been waiting for version 1.3 to be released because I want Instapaper support which will be available in the Pro version. I've been constantly checking the App Store for the update and it has finally come. I like that you have the option of viewing all articles or just unread articles. Since I've heard other apps don't give you the option and only display unread articles, and therefore those articles aren't available in the app once you've read them, I'm sticking with Feeddler. You can also sort each listing by oldest or newest articles first which I think is great. The new interface is nice and there are more options for working with the articles now. As of this writing the Pro version of 1.3 is not available but I will be purchasing it as soon as it is. This is the best RSS app available for the iPad. I recommend you help support the developer and buy the Pro version they've done a great job..Version: 0

Very reliable......not pretty but totally functional and sensible. I have had this for a while and use it constantly. Recommended to those of us who don't have much time for fancyfied apps which are all about the looks and don't actually do anything!.Version: 2.4

GreatAds in free version are not too intrusive, connection to InstaPaper is really useful. Google 2 step password gets forgotten from time to time, but not often enough for it to be a problem..Version: 1.12.3

Simple, easy, the way it should beEasy on the eye, easy to use, works perfectly..Version: 1.12.5

Good reader to quickly get through lots of feedsThis is a good reader to get through lots of feeds quickly, particularly when I just want to scan through the titles. It would be a 5star review if I could display the titles only, and if it would advance to the next feed or folder when I mark all as read. I would also like t o be able to record a show by feed or by folder setting for each folder like I can on NetNewsWire on the Mac. I have some folders of Feeds that I want to review by themselves because of the volume of news items in that feed but other groups of feeds where I just want to get through the entire group; I tend to scan through titles very quickly, only actually reading a few feeds..Version: 1.12.5

FeedbackI use this app everyday ! The plus is it brings all my blogs together & its free the only bug is that it 'loads' continually on occasion and a phone reboot is required! And a folder system would be nice.Version: 1.11

Best Reader Out ThereI've tried a bunch of readers but this is the best one I have found. It quickly (like blazing fast) syncs my google reader feeds and shows which feeds have updates within seconds. Video based channels show in the embedded window and you can play right in the app. Otherwise, it's one click to load the full page in the embedded browser. You can't go wrong with this app..Version: 1.12.5

ExcellentMy go to feed reader.Version: 4.3

Great Google Reader appThis is as good a Google Reader app as I have found so far for the iPad. It's quick, allows you to mark items unread or read, and retains these settings when made previously through the GReader web page. Almost a 5, but waiting to see what the update improves on. For example, it only syncs 15 articles at a time, after which you have to go out to the main screen and sync again. It would be great if it did this automatically in the background..Version: 0

Best rss reader app at the momentBest RSS reader app i have used, one suggestion is to add a 'mark this page as read' button. Been using this for a while, got a recommendation to switch to feedly. Tried, the ui design was great, but the sync and functions were so bad, does not even refresh feed count when loaded. Feedly -1.Version: 1.12.5

Fast and simpleThis is a fast and easy to use app. Nothing very flash, it just gets you to your many RSS feeds quickly and easily. I also love the option to read "full text" of feeds that hide their content behind brief previews, because it saves you having to click through to a website..Version: 1.11

Easy to use, simplisticFeeddler RSS is a very simple rss reader that has most of the features you need, but lacks a few you may want. It sometimes has a tendency to crop out images in it's 'reader' view, but often converts a busy text-based blog post into a beautifully readable interface..Version: 1.11

Useful AppVery useful app that I use regularly. The only reason I give it 4 rather than 5 starts is a few times it has frozen on me (but I have been using it most days for months) and crucially, it does not tell me when there is a new article unless I go into the app..Version: 1.12.4

One of the BEST Programs on my iPad!I read a lot of articles and have always been a fan of google reader for this task. Now that I was able to sync all my articles to this program, I NEVER have gone back to the web. This program is fast, and then some. The layout is clean and it intuitively supports all the functions you would expect is a fantastic RSS aggregator. I love this program! I felt the need to amend this review to say to the developers, good job! Every update makes this program better and better! Thanks guys!.Version: 1.12.4

Minor glitchesPretty good and certainly better than Blog Reader, with only a few minor glitches/irritations. Quite slow to start up, and sometimes gets confused about which articles have been read and which haven't. Still not possible to use pinch gestures for zooming..Version: 1.12.4

WOW!!I think I have found the killer app so I can quit carrying my laptop and tons of books to my classes. I can access my Office 2007 files through my wifi and edit them on my iPad. There are some display problems. I noticed a few tabbed sections in a Word 2007 document not displaying exactly as they showed on my desktop. I was able to build formulas and select functions in Excel 2007. When done, I was able to save the changes back to my desktop. Set up and sync is almost brainless. I will not need to import files through iTunes now. This app can only get better and I am already willing to give it 5 big stars..Version: 0

Functional. This is the most solid RSS reader I've discovered in the App Store. It never fails to retrieve my feeds from the legendary service, "The Old Reader", the two being tightly integrated. I also love that I can save what I've read to Pocket; however, I'll appreciate not having to press "More" to get to it. In addition, automatically opening the link in Chrome if need be. The Dark Mode is the killer feature that keeps bringing me back!!.Version: 3.2

Pretty goodWorks well, I would like a way to mark individual articles as read without having to open them. Otherwise quite good. Recommend!.Version: 2.0

Easiest RSS reader to use, sync with Google ReaderSome people claim "RSS is dying", but that's only true if the internet is dying. RSS simply collects the news sources you want to read and compiles them an a universal, easy-to-browse format. And no app that I've found conveys that format in a more direct fashion than Feeddler. It's similar enough to Google Reader on your PC that you can pick it up and know how to use it. More importantly, it doesn't clutter up the screen with useless garbage, loads fast, and has other options such as allowing you to cache articles for offline reading (huge for WiFi users). Flipbook and a lot of the "prettier" news collectors get more attention, but those are different things, in my opinion. An app like Flipbook is basically grabbing a bunch of relevant material and throwing it out there. The content is displayed randomly and not in any predictable order. If you're serious about finding out the most recent news in your topic, you can manage your Google Reader account and have all of the content sorted for you in neat fashion with Feeddler. And the adds on the free version haven't even been annoying enough for me to bother with an upgrade (yet)!.Version: 1.11

Ideal.Couldn't get along with Google Reader online. This free version of feedler is great. Allows offline caching, easy to read, very quick to sync and easy to add feeds by just entering the URL. Exactly what I was looking for after trying several different free rss readers..Version: 1.11

NiceNice app.Version: 1.12.4

It's fast.Out of the many iPhone RSS readers I've tried this is definitely the fastest most responsive. One feature I would like to see though is the ability to view all feeds in a folder at the same time, instead of having to select the feeds individually in each folder. Although I will most likely still be using this as my primary rss reader, just because it's so much faster and without hang ups than anything else. All this on an iPhone 3G, can't wait to see how it does on the new iPhone..Version: 0

PotentialHas potential to be the best, I find the title text too large, would be nice to adjust and sometime it bugs at the loading screen. Still better than most other free rss readers :D.Version: 1.11

YayOccasionally buggy, but the price is right. Plus it always works fine after a restart. I like that you can view your feeds offline (as long as they've already been downloaded, obvs).Version: 1.11

Overall goodThis is the best free newsreader I've found and I've tried a few. It occasionally gets stuck on the loading screen and you have to power cycle your phone to clear it but still good..Version: 1.11

Great feed readerFast and easy to use.Version: 1.12.5

Great reader!Nothing to complain about works really well!.Version: 1.12.5

SuperGreat app to pull all your RRS feeds to one easy spot for reading. Love it!.Version: 1.12.5

Works well as a Google Reader for iPhoneI use it constantly, overall quite happy with it. One little but important problem... If the wifi / 3G signal is weak, when the app attempts to sync, it will stall and freeze. One must then reboot the phone to unfreeze it as the app won't close after this either. Fortunately this only seems to occur when I attempt to use it in a low signal area... works great everywhere else. Ad supported, so it's free. I don't know if the Pro version is ad free or not, the paid app version of description doesn't say. If it has ads also, not sure why you'd pay for it?.Version: 1.11

Best Google Reader app so far.Love this app, I've tried a few but this the easiest to use by far and thus far hasn't crashed which is an issue that blights the others. Skips along beautifully on my old 2g iPod Touch :-).Version: 1.11

Very Straightforward RSS Reader.I am currently using this app on my iPhone 4s and it's the only suitable RSS reader for the iPhone in my opinion. I am currently using the free version but I will upgrade to pro as soon as I receive my new iPad. I love that this app is universal. I love that there's no fluff, there's just news. Another plus is that this app is very customizable. I do not like that there's only two themes to choose from: day or night. The day is extremely bright and white and plain. The black is too dark; I can't read any of the headlines, let alone to actual text. I would like to see the developer add at least one other theme that is much easier on the eyes and is more relaxing than in-your-face bright or dark. That is the only correction I would make at this point and time to the app. It is my default RSS reader and it will stay my default RSS reader, especially if the developer adds a different theme(s)..Version: 1.12.5

Very awesome app for RSS update !!I've tried Feedly app on IOS, but unfortunately they don't' have the settings for sorting the RSS "Drag and drop" So i chose this app, (which is awesome!) By the way, I think i would be even better if the this app can enable Notification on the IOS devices so I don't need to open the app every time to check the update of RSS. Great app and keep up the awesome work~.Version: 1.12.5

Great feed reader!!Easy to use and keep up to date with my reading list..Version: 1.11

The best Google reader app.I bought MobileRss, Newsrack but Feeddler is the one I use everyday. What I really like about Feeddler (and only available with Feeddler): 1. A simple/sleek interface just like the Google Reader. Well, maybe it's not for everyone. Some people may prefer "fancier" interfaces. But I just like to be able to use the Google Reader interface that I'm familiar with. Nice and clean. 2. Full screen mode! Both landscape and portrait. I don't understand why the other apps won't let me read FULL-SCREEN with landscape mode. Like some other reviewer said, Feeddler seems to be the only one app that "really gets it". 3. Easy/intuitive way to navigate to the next item. You can press the arrow buttons at the bottom. Or simply do the swiping. Sounds easy huh? Strangely enough none of the other apps really does this simple task as half as good. The only feature I would want is the ability to note. Otherwise I really have no complaints. Especially considering this is free. I will buy the pro version now to show support for the developers (and the instapaper integration). But the free version is really great enough. Thanks a lot for this..Version: 0

Works wellUse this all the time. Never fails..Version: 1.12.5

Great AppAwesome app. Updates feeds well and very easy to navigate..Version: 1.12.5

Bug in last releaseLook like in infinite loop... perhaps interrupt of interrupt ..Version: 4.2

5 starsBeen using for 2+ years. Best free RSS reader I've found. Does exactly what it should. I would pay for it if I could..Version: 1.12.5

Great appLove this app. Very handy for reading feeds. The only improvement I would like is easier to use and clearer browser capability once you've clicked a link within a feed..Version: 1.12.3

Pretty excellentEasy to use, works very well. Maybe could use a better "back" navigation system when visiting external links so that you can go back to the article/page you were on and not back to the rss feed.Version: 1.11

Really love itLove this app. It blends seamlessly with google reader. Would only be better if I could post comments without having to open in Safari and if I could 'pin' from the app..Version: 1.11

Great AppI really enjoy using this App. It syncs beautifully with Google Reader. The navigation buttons and screen transitions are smooth and intuitive. The night feature (black background) is really readable and I prefer it all the time. Overall in incredibly good App..Version: 1.11

Good AppNice clean look makes reading easy. The App is simple and includes some nice features to organize your feeds if you want make things a little more complex. No complaints here.Version: 1.12.5

Works greatGet yourself a Google Reader account, setup your favourite RSS feeds on it, organise them into folders, get this app and away you go. Your favourite news streams at your fingertips. This is the best RSS feeds app I've found so far for iPhone..Version: 0

Fast and simple - if only......it let me specify the "page" size. I subscribe to the Google "News" package and a few other RSS feeds. If I don't keep up, I can easily have several hundred new article headers to scroll wade through. I didn't count the number of article headers you get per page, but whatever it is, it isn't enough - I find myself constantly hitting the "See more" button :-( Other than that, it's a great app - I no longer have to visit the individual news sites. Addendum: never mind - I had not tried the "auto-load new articles" when I wrote this - with that turned on, pages are a non-issue! Now it is 5 stars for me!.Version: 1.12.5

RecommendedWorks well, the adverts on the free version are unobtrusive and don't interfere with reading articles. Adding and remove feeds via copy and pasting links from safari works well though a feature to search for feeds within the app would be nice. The ability post articles to social networks works well. Strongly recommended..Version: 1.12.5

Great appA great tool for keeping up to date with blog reading, I found some of the tools a little confusing (like how to sort feeds into my various folders) but the options are all there! I have tonnes of rss feeds and haven't suffered from any crashes or freezing and barely even noticed the ads. The toggle button for full text / rss is great because I can view each feed in the most efficient format..Version: 1.11

GreatEasy to use :).Version: 1.11

Amazing, I love this app. This app is by far the most used on my iPad and iPhone. Syncs brilliantly between both devices and offers great functionality (better than most paid for readers) I have had no problems with syncing, logging in or crashing and I use this at least 5 times a day every day. Amazing, and free!.Version: 0

Pretty nice interfaceI like the features considering its a free version. I don't know if I would use many of the upgraded features because of time constraints. Overall, good app, worth downloading. I have definitely had problems with the app though. After a certain time the graphics get...'weird'. Words and headings start moving in different ways than normally. Sometimes it is constantly "Loading" even after the content is synched. I thought my problems were due to my phone being old and outdated, but I just got the 4Gs and it continues..Version: 1.11

Fantastic AppI use it every day. It gives a great overview and organizes the feeds very well..Version: 1.12.5

Powerful & stableVery stable and useful RSS reader. Clean and simple layout, not as visually arresting as some but easy to navigate. Intuitive to use. I love that I can follow links and threads a long way within Feeddler and then, when I'm done with that feed, just press the arrow to get to the next feed..Version: 1.11

Almost five starsGreat RSS reader, with only one major issue. If I try and update in an area with poor/no reception and then close the app, when relaunching it will update the feeds but the "loading" overlay from the previous session remains, making the app unusable without force quitting and reopening. This doesn't break the app, but makes it a bit annoying to use sometimes. Last update didn't fix it either..Version: 1.11

Great appI started using feedler at version 1.4 on my iPad, and it's a great google feed reader. It has everything I want, very solid. I read some of the other negative reviews and most of those problems have been fixed. You can mark all items as read, you can view only unread items and feeds. The full screen web browser is great too. Can't wait for the next version..Version: 0

Great RSS reader, better than the native google reader site for the iPadI was a little disappointed with the google reader web page on the iPad, so I went looking for an app, and this one fits the bill. Some nice fixes and tweaks in the latest version (the developer is obviously listening to feedback). I subscribe to over 100 feeds, if I don't have time to read an interesting article I just use the built in Read It Later integration (the iPad Read It Later app is due out any day now) Highly recommend this, I paid for the pro version..Version: 0

Frequently crashesThe app started off nice but after a week it frequently crashes or if it does load only shows about 30 or so articles. You can't scroll beyond that. Forcing the app to shut doesn't help either..Version: 1.9

King of Google Reader clientsTruly, king of Google Reader clients and lord of all RSS.Version: 1.12.5

Very good!!!!!!I like it! I like it! I like it!.Version: 1.12.5

Simple and effectiveWhat all apps should be like. Ads get a bit annoying though and paid version is too expensive..Version: 1.12.4

Great app, couple of issuesA fast RSS reader app! Works great with Google reader - even lets me star, mark unread, etc., same as on a PC. You can read a folder's worth of feeds, or just a single feed. Can also view all, or just unread. Some issues: no back/forward button when viewing original item - if you've followed a couple of links you can't get back a screen or two without going back to the original feed article. Also, no option to display pictures in the article list. Makes it difficult to read my lolcats feed! One bug: when you follow a link to an app store web page, and swipe to view the app screens, the page switches to the next feed article. Very annoying..Version: 0

Great AppBest thing since sliced bread. Goodbye google reader..Version: 1.12.5

Robust and user friendlyThis application is by far the best rss feeds reader available on apple store! While it's hard to find an app that's reliable, user friendly, robust and at the same time free, Feeddler got it all. I recommend it over all rss readers as I really tried, if not all, most of them..Version: 1.12.5

Useful appThis is a useful to track your RSS feeds..Version: 2.0

Great RSS readerNice clean interface with excellent navigation options. Good Mark All Read function, but no Mark Previous Read which would be nice. I have quite a lot of feeds, and Feeedler handles them very well. The Google Reader sync is excellent and consistently solid. Great sharing options to other services. I have tried several RSS reader apps and keep coming back to Feedler because of its functionality, layout and navigation. I am giving it 4 stars because of some minor issues that I have had and because it is giving me daily pop-up notifications to rate the app, which I am now doing to hopefully make those stop. I love Feedler, but I really dislike that. In short, I highly recommend Feedler..Version: 1.11

Love it!I love this app and I'm glad that it has been updated to use other services since google have shut down google reader. Keep up the good work on this app guys!.Version: 2.0

SuperGreat app. Use it everyday..Version: 1.12.5

Needs customizable font optionsWould be nice to be able to access default fonts in iOS. The sans font is tiresome..Version: 4.1

FeeddlerSimple and very quick. I use iPod, iPad and iPhone for this app and I do not have to worry about duplicating what and where I am feed wise over all three as it is NOT device dependent. I know it uses google as the only way to get this info but it is a great app for instant feeds..Version: 1.11

Freezes up loading occasionallyPretty good. Would like keep unread on screen. It freezes up on loading screen sometimes requiring reboot phone..Version: 1.11

It works pretty wellI've used google reader directly from safari and its always frustrating when you loose your place due to caching problems or memory shortages. This app has a clear marking of read and unread and if thins fail (like ios6 not caching properly) I can always find where I am. There is a slight issue with opening stories in the internal browser where it won't switch to landscape orientation but minor.Version: 1.12.4

At lastHaving sampled many of the RSS feeders on the iPhone and iPad, I have eventually found the one. All others have now been deleted. Seamless iPhone integration. Easy to use. Can't recommend this app highly enough.Version: 1.12.5

Mark ALL As Read?I was really happy when I heard about Feeddler for the iPad, I actually think it's a really good rss reader except for one big problem, there is only one way to mark items as read, either open it or mark EVERYTHING as read. I made the mistake of clicking mark all as read and it marked everything in my backlog as read, not just the 50 or so headlines it was displaying. I strongly urge the developers to add some sort of "mark visible headlines as read" option instead of marking every single item, even ones that aren't being displayed..Version: 0

Good reader, couple of odditiesI use it multiple times a day, and it really is better than most apps that perform the same function. Mostly a solid, simple, straightforward interface. Two things that confuse me though: why no landscape position in the reader, but landscape is allowed in browser (that is after I follow a link) orientation? If I could only view in portrait, fine, I can accept that. But the fact that I often view news pages in landscape and the when I return to the feed it forces me back to portrait is frustrating. Second, when does the app force a refresh of the feed? After exit and return? After a time limit? When mars aligns with Pluto? I am unable to find a pattern. I can force am update and any time, however the app can do do on its own, for seemingly no rhyme or reason. Still, very good RSS feed reader. Worth trying out, it might just be the one you keep..Version: 1.12.3

Does the job nicelyHappy with this app for keeping up with a couple of feeds, works well..Version: 1.12.4

Good tool Great supportRuns very smoothly. Solution for dual password on Google easy to find and then all good. One minor freezing issue emerged but my email was answered immediately and a bug correction issued within hours..Version: 1.12.3

Almost perfect, BUT...I've been using this app for years, it's powerful, beautifully designed, and overall enjoyable to use. However, there is an incredibly frustrating issue that may force me to stop using it: some less reputable RSS feed's will actively bounce you over to the App Store without you tapping on anything. This is an infuriating behavior when you're just trying to read an article, and it simply should not be possible. Web browsers have long restricted pop-up windows to occur only when a click happens, I see no reason why this app should be any different. I would gladly purchase the Pro version of the app if I thought it would eliminate this behavior, but that seems unlikely..Version: 3.7

The best of the bestIf you use both an iPad and IPhone then this should be your one and only choice. Easy to use, full of features and provides seamless sync between devices via Google Reader..Version: 0

Great free rss readerGreat free RSS reader, does the job.Version: 1.12.3

A really good RSS appI've been using this app for a while now and I think it's one of the best RSS apps around. Few interface improvements would do nicely (navigation to links from feeds is a bit clunky), but they are not essential..Version: 1.11

Perfect appPerfect.Version: 1.12.5

Works Quite Well with the New VersionI've used a lot of RSS readers, and this one isn't perfect but it's very good. This performance is very good, and it's got good navigation forward and back. It also has a rather unique feature that you can make it mark posts as read when they scroll out of view. I find this makes it really easy to go through really big lists of links very quickly, because you don't have to explicitly mark each one is read when you ignore. The developer is active, and seems to be updating it regularly. All in all, quite a good reader and I'm very happy with it..Version: 0

Does the job! This app has really increased my work productivity! I use google alerts to track hundreds of issues and DC policy actions for my clients which just takes lots and lots of time scanning through stuff...this app brings the full power of google reader to my iPhone and allows me to fill the small moments (elevator ride, metro, boiling water, slow conference calls) with a few moments of productivity and manage the overwhelming flow of information. I just star or push the good stuff out through email. Amazingness!.Version: 1.11

Great, but sometimes buggyFantastic tool for keeping up to date with what's going on. Had it on several iPhones and iOS versions, has irritated me and crashed over the years, but currently stable. Would otherwise be 5*.Version: 1.12.5

Great appI was looking for an RSS app, this one was first in the search results and it's perfect. I quickly registered with The Old Reader and now my feeds are up and running. :) They've made it really easy to report bugs or send feedback, and I received a prompt and helpful response when I emailed about a bug. That's worth a 5-star rating..Version: 2.0

Excellent appBest app I have, I use it everyday..Version: 1.11

Works well ... MostlyNice interface, easy to use once set up,not sure why it needs linked to google..Version: 1.11

This just what I wantedThis a great app, have been wanting to know what is at there at a glance and this gives me all the info I want instantly and I Cna favourite them as well. Bonus..Version: 1.11

Blog heavenEasy to use, add new pages and navigate - saves me hours (seriously) bringing all of my fave blogs into one app on my iPad - I hit the tab and have all the latest updates ready and waiting for me....Version: 1.11

Love this appThe only issue i have is sometimes the loading symbol takes longer than i would like it to. Overall best rss reader i have used.Version: 1.11

Great app, use everydayA great, free app for a great service Google Reader is a great service, when you are using a conventional computer but it has been a pain on the iPhone since every so often that you go off to look up the webpage directly it tags the article as read and it is no longer there. Feedler gets it right by allowing you to have a cache, so that you don't have problems when you come back to the RSS feed. I use this every day along with Podcaster and NPR News..Version: 0

Good except for the "loading...." stuck issueSometimes just hangs with the loading dialogue when syncing. Needs a cancel button added or something to get 5 stars from me. I usually have to reboot phone to fix this error. Everything else works great though! Good app except for this one bug..Version: 1.11

4.9 Star rating, but giving 5 starsFeeddler seems to offer virtually everything I want from an RSS feed application. Displaying the real count of unread feeds is a plus, though not as relevant as I previously thought. The feature I feel is missing: the ability to select multiple entries, then convert them to "having been read" without reading them. I consistently have over 2,000 unread feeds. I'd like to reduce that to a useable #, so it would be more apparent that I have new information to check/read. At this point the only way to mark entries as having been read, is to click on them and then go back one screen. Would be a HUGE help if, as I recognize 10 posts that I'm not interested in reading I could simply select all 10 and label as "having been read". That's the only recommendation I am aware of at this point. We're that feature introduced, this would be a no-brainer 5 stars. But given I am an app developer myself, and I understand the importance of a 5 star rating, I have "rounded up" my rating out of empathy. Many thanks..Version: 1.11

Latest version always reloadingWith this latest update for iOS 12 the item view is constantly reloading so it’s difficult to use the read-all check mark. Otherwise it’s working well..Version: 4.2

I love it!Very helpful to me.Version: 2.0

Problem freeThe ability for the free version to cache loaded items lets you read offline on the train. UI is slick. Might even pay for proper offline access..Version: 1.11

Simple excellenceThis reader is simple to use, clear and well laid out. I have been using it for a couple of years now and am completely satisfied with the easy to use interface and seamless integration with google reader. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an RSS reader for iPhone or iPad..Version: 1.12.4

Excellent appI have been using this app for a few weeks now and it hasn't let me down. The previous program got a little shakey after an update so needed to swap. Very happy with this though.Version: 1.11

Almost perfectSorry, Feedler, I can't give you that fifth star. But to other readers, this is a GREAT newsreader. I've never had a sync problem and you can edit folders inside the app. The action menus are extremely customizable. All in all a fabulous program. There's just a few problems and one bug. 1. I wish it had a manual sync option. It wants to sync every time you open a folder and I like to clear my RSS out before I get new articles. 2. Readitlater, Instapaper, Delicious, etc integration. Non-Safari browser integration would be awesome as well. 3. The bug. If you switch away from the app while it's loading, when you return to it a second loading wheel pops up and it never goes away. You have to close the program, which is made more of a pain by the way iOS works. Still, well worth the download. And I just realized I have the free version! I'm giving them (and Apple) some money right now!.Version: 1.11

Good with google readerLinks well with google reader. The text resizing isn't too intuitive, but sweet once it works. Best reader I've tried yet..Version: 1.12.5

My go-to RSS readerExcept for a few difficulties with settings... it just works..Version: 5.2.1

RecommendA very good everyday reader.Version: 1.12.5

Works well with room to improveHaving come from the Droid RSS reader, this app's responsiveness is impressive. Whether I have 300 or 2,000 articles, it handles them without a second thought. At the same time, the Droid gReader downloads all the articles so there aren't any lags trying to load more articles in a larger subscription folder ( like it does in this app). I can't seem to find a setting in the free version that corrects this. Basically it means I have to have a data connection to get more than 50 articles in a single subscription. If that doesn't bother you and/or you don't have that many articles each day/week, this is definitely an app for you..Version: 1.11

Almost...I really like this free app, my first RSS reader for the iPad. Only issues I have are: * No obvious way to refresh all feeds, and sometimes the unread count in the subscription list do not match the individual feeds; * No obvious way to go back to an article after a jump - if you read more and it takes you to a web article, then you click on another link (or more) you then can't go back to the preceding page, only options are canceling out or back to the feed's headline or other articles; * Would be good to get a preview of a few sentences of the article under the headlines; and * The ability to batch mark articles as read or starred right there on the feed's summary. It doesn't seem the Pro version addresses these points..Version: 0

HaoHao.Version: 1.11

Good and usefulRSS reader as-is, just does its job..Version: 2.1

Great app!Always works for me. Thanks for going back to the classic orange colored app icon!.Version: 5.2.1

Excellent AppThis is an excellent app; very intuitive and easy to use with quite a number of features that help you to get through a bulk of work - fast and easy. I'm upgrading to the Pro version: all worth it..Version: 1.12.5

ExcellentWell organized feeds in a very logical and concise format. You can quickly scan a List and pick up those feeds you want to read. I particularly like the way graphic images can be minimized and therefore not using up valuable Cellular data..Version: 3.2

Best RSS Reader for IOSA perfect companion for people who always hungry for up to date news. And to use Google Reader as a single source makes it even better when you move from one device to another. But the developer needs to think beyond July 2013 where Google Reader will be killed of. How to achieve a single source without its presence? A big hole that needs to be filled in..Version: 1.12.5

OkFeeder is ok. Works well and is quick enough. Zoom in and out can be a bit annoying and can't email from within the app. Other than that is fun..Version: 1.11

FantasticExcellent app - I keep all my news on it and its so easy to use and set up. Just works, doesn't harass you, just does what it's meant to do.Version: 1.12.5

Best reader stopped workingWith the newest version 5.2, it is working again! Thanks!.Version: 5.2

Simple and trouble freeWish it had landscape. But apart from that a very reliable app. It is the network that is to blame any time the app appears not to update. Would be helpful to mark items as read without ticking at the end of a page because I don't always have time to read to the bottom and next time I come back I don't want to start at the beginning again. But I love it..Version: 1.12.4

J adoreTres bonne app. Je la recommande ....Version: 2.1

Great appEasy and simple to use, and reliable. Would like to know how to delete read items tho..Version: 1.11

Excellent feed readerWorks really well. I use it with inoreader..Version: 2.3

Very goodSwitched to this from Mobile RSS due to many small bugs and this is far superior, quicker and reliable. The adds are getting a bit more in your face though. Good work..Version: 1.12.4

Great app all around!Great rss reader that supports half a dozen (or so) rss services and syncs well with those services. Supports send to pocket, facebook, email etc... When you add rss feeds don't try to search for a feed unless you upgrade to the pro version. But otherwise great app that supports all the services, and works great without any crashes or bugs!.Version: 2.4

Like itEasy to use.Version: 1.12.5

Very Good RSS ReaderI use NetNewsWire on my Mac and iPhone but at $10 for the iPad version, they priced themselves out of a purchase from me. The free version of Feeddler is a very good alternative since it interfaces well with Google Reader and I don't really need the ability to download and read off line, the primary feature difference with the paid version. However, I knocked off one star because the app has no way to post links directly to Twitter, Delicious, Diigo, or a blog. In fact, they make it very difficult to even get a link to the original page since it's not displayed in their in-app browser. Those connections would be worth the additional star or possibly even paying for it..Version: 0

Fast and effectiveFeels very slick and handy for keeping track of things. Only thing missing is the ability to mark a single page read, which might be in the pro version. One of my better choices of app..Version: 1.11

Works brilliantly!I've been looking for an RSS reader that integrates with my Google Reader account so that I can keep up to date with my feeds across my iPad, iPhone and iMac. I've tried loads, and they've never quite come up to scratch or done what I want. Feeddler is different - it just works. It syncs with my Google account like lightning, and lets me see all my feeds in one place. I can either look at each feed individually, see all new items in a folder, or see the global view of all new items in my account. Switching between iPad and iPhone is easy, Google remembers my current state so that i can just carry on. Definitely the best RSS reader I've tried so far! Hopefully it'll just carry on getting better over time..Version: 0

I use this dailyI used to waste a lot of time going to and from the same sites using safari to check for updates. RSS is a tech I had avoided, tried 3 other apps before this which were fiddly and poorly adapted to the iPad format. I had no trouble with any of the app's features, however it would be great to integrate it with a search for RSS on favourite sites. Some sites have their feeds tucked away where they are hard to find, it's a pain to have to use safari trawl through the site in search of the feed icons, copying the URL and pasting it into the add feed popup.... That's work and this should be easier! My only complaint about this app really. Of course maybe I missed something and there's an easier way... Like a wizard maybe?.Version: 1.11

Great app!Super easy to use with very clean interface! I love it!.Version: 1.11

FlawlessThis application is simply flawless. Operation and button placement is very streamlined. I especially like how one can change the article font size by pinching. Just imported my Reader feeds to AOL through their website - no problem. Thanks, dev team, for this gem of an app!!.Version: 2.3

Great appThis app is perfect for RSS feed reading..Version: 1.12.5

For years, the first thing I open in the morning.Clean and simple. By far the best RSS. RSS still matters. You have so much control..Version: 5.2.1

Good feederEasy to use, keeps me up to date with my feeds while I'm away..Version: 1.11

Perfect readerFor a free app, feeddler has taken care of all my rss reader needs. i have a huge subscription list on google reader, and feedler has an amazingly simple yet elegant interface, making it easy to read articles. A must for rss junkies..Version: 1.11

Great rss readerBest free rss reader I have tried. Very accessible with Vioce Over. There are a few unlabeled buttons which should be cleared up. It is worth buying the pro version just to support such excellent development..Version: 0

Excellent for straight forward, solid RSSRSS is not dead Google! This app is proof! Solid, reliable app and the developer is quick to respond and provide updates to keep up with the current changes in RSS providers! Looking forward to seeing more support for other RSS providers now that google is gone! InoReader is a great start!! A+.Version: 2.1

Top!One of the best RSS apps out there today! The thing I do not like is that since the last update you have to manually load new items after 20 or so... If you return to the previos one, where I did not have to do this I'll promise to only ever use your app! :).Version: 1.12.5

Very usefulHaven't used any other rss type services, but haven't problems with this one - easy to use for a beginner - took a little while to work out how to add feeds, but once they are loaded it does everything I want..Version: 1.11

Easy to UseGreat way to quickly browse short headlines of many RSS feeds from multiple news sources you choose. Easy to flick through. Better than twitter in that respect..Version: 1.12.4

No faultsQuick to load feeds, simple to use. Once was a bit odd with folders after I had added a feed, but basically I have no complaints and it's certainly the best RSS reader I’ve used on the iPhone..Version: 1.11

Very good indeedSo it may not be as slick as NewsNetWire in a few places, but there's really not much in it if I'm honest - except Feeddler provides a free ad-supported version rather than charging a frankly too high price. The ads aren't too intrusive either, and despite what other reviews say it hasn't crashed once for me (a pretty heavy user). Recommended..Version: 0

Great RSS readerI have been exploring using social media to increase my lead generation and find this fantastic to use in getting through the many bogs and would highly recommend this app.Version: 1.11

Very goodGreat app. Connects and downloads well. Easy to use and follow blogs. Couple of issues; sometimes freezes and I have to turn the iPod off and back on to get the app to work again. Would be nice if it could cache blogs on the iPod, so you could read even when you don't have an Internet connection..Version: 1.11

Really GoodEasy to use, and this work really good..Version: 1.11

ExcellentThe best free Google Reader RSS app available. I tried all the others. No contest, this one is the best..Version: 1.12.5
