✓ Unnecessary ProcessesThere is a lot I could write about this app but I quite frankly don’t have the time to unload all of my concerns. With that said, I will succinctly state a few. 1. Your users manual is very impractical. To ascertain the process of load a pdf file, you have to click on several links - some of which do not work. Then the instructions are Very poorly written. 2. The process of loading a pdf is - well cumbersome to say the least. Although you say there are several ways to load files, the only ways that has work so far is via email. The iTunes process does not seem to work at all. I will stop here. Please have some do a better job of writing your manual. I have several apps/programs that are sheet music readers and none of them are as tedious as your when it comes to loading songs. This is Very unfortunate..Version: 4.23

✓ Good appI got this app while ago and it's been good. There may some good ways to improve. But is doing the job. Sometimes it crashes when I'm editing Lyrics and I have no idea why. Overall is a great app..Version: 3.3
✓ Second bestWhy anyone would use this app when ForScore exists is beyond me. You can read music but edit options, lag, zoom, crop, indexing, gestures are all second best to ForScore..Version: 3.7
✓ I cannot connect the stamp box with unreal bookI had purchased I unrealBook so that my sheet music on my iPad for gigs. Unreal book was very easy to set up and I have 6 song sets on it. Based on the authors recommendation I bought the Bluetooth stomp box to automatically page turn. I can easily connect the stomp box via Bluetooth to my iPad, but I can’t get it to turn pages in unrealBook. Stomp box- coda says it works with unrealBook but provides no set up direction like it does for other apps. I have sent them emails and I get no response. Likewise, I sent an email to unrealBook author about setting up stomp box that he advertises is compatible with his software and get no response. Can someone advise? I have a $140 box that I can’t use..Version: 4.21
✓ Good app, difficult to add filesI like this app and have used it for several years. In the past year I have switched exclusively to Linux and find there are very few, and convoluted ways to get PDF files from my laptop and into unrealBook on my iPad Pro. In fact this drives me to look for other readers. Being a software engineer myself, I would think it would be very simple to allow unrealBook to connect to my local FTP server for data transfer. ✓ Bugs with IOS 10.3.3 - difficult set up with PageFlipBuggy app with iPad IOS 10.3.3. Constantly rebooting iPad to get keyboard to pop up. Changes text of file names on import. Will not recognize some keyboard characters. Duplicates import files under different name. Creates blank page files. Difficult to set up with PageFlip Pedal Controller. Intuitive rating is very poor and support topics not very helpful..Version: 3.6
✓ Very functional. Good but some tweaks would make it great.As a Sax and trumpet player in three bands, my bag of music folders used to be very big and heavy, but had now been replaced with an iPad Pro and this app. Works wonderfully with the large screen, and I certainly don't feel compromised in any way compared to A4 paper. I think the user interface isn't particularly well designed or intuitive, but after a bit of usage you get used to it. I use Scanner Pro to capture my sheet music rather than the built in scanning capability. I do this because it's swift and does a great job of cropping and straightening automatically. You can then get the scans over to realBook using the iCloud app and selecting "Open in..." then "realBook" A couple of enhancements would be the icing on the cake... 1) Proper Apple Pencil support: You can use an Apple Pencil for drawing annotations, but the app clearly isn't optimised for this yet since it doesn't follow the pencil as closely as it ought to. Presumably there's a Pencil API that needs to be used rather than old "touch" functionality. 2) A way to copy/preview the top line of the next page onto the bottom of the current page and/or the last line of the previous page on to the top to make page transitions a little less frantic. At the moment you have to time it perfectly, or switch to 2 page view (which of course is smaller) 3) if you use 2 page view it moves forward two pages at a time, whereas it would be better to do one. E.g. On a four page piece it goes from pages 1 & 2 to page 3 & 4, whereas it would be better to switch to 2 & 3 first so that you can make the switch during a rest somewhere during page 2, then switch to 3 & 4 next, which can be switched during a rest on page 3..Version: 2.0.5
✓ Not as good as ForscoreNot as easy to use as Forscore if you just want to use an iPad instead of sheet music, as I do. It has too many menus to go through just for simple tasks. Not something you need when at rehearsals for orchestra or band, when the MD is moving things along, or making alterations. UnrealBook is too complicated for everyday use, and, although has a few clever features, I don't rate it very highly. If I could get a refund I would..Version: 2.0.5
✓ GlitchesLike this app, but there are problems with notes and highlight getting overlaying my whole set list of songs. That's a big problem. Generally a like, but I'm looking for a program without see problems. Fix them cuz I'd like to keep using it..Version: 1.73

✓ No way to get files, not user-friendly and not supportedBadly written software. Makes sense mostly to the owner. I cannot find instructions to download any files, actually I cannot even locate files. For the price of this app, it doesn’t do much, can’t download any music, non-existent support. ✓ No Apple Pencil support and annoying to make notes inSizing and resizing pages is annoying as well, but having to tap the menus twice to switch to eraser and to close out of writing mode really slows you down in rehearsal. I’d love to see The ability to copy set lists as well..Version: 4.22
