✓ Cost cost costHave followed Synkd on instagram for a while now and been waiting to justify the $13 AUD to buy it. I have purchased and can make my own chains, however was disappointed to find out that then it cost around $3 -$10 on top to purchase additional chains. A $13 upfront charge plus additional costs for the packs is a bit steep in my opinion..Aosccp123Version: 3.4.0

✓ Great app but needs additional functionality!This is a great practice tool for any musician with any instrument. The only problem is that it doesn’t have a lot of customization so if you need help play complicate rhythms, you might want to seat elsewhere. For example, you cannot customize the subdivision of an individual beat. You just choose from a bunch of choices. So if you have two 16th notes with a 32nd triplet, you wouldn’t be able to input that rhythm because it’s not one of the options. Great app with a major flaw!.NintneshiVersion: 3.1.11

✓ Good, not great, not worth $9.99Dotted rhythms are possible IF you FULLY understand sub division. I contacted the developer about entering dotted rhythms and they asked what sort of dotted rhythms I wanted to enter... TROUBLE!!!... They flat out said dotted quarters weren't supported, but you could enter them buy entering a quarter followed by 2 eighths, and resting the first eighth. Yes, this works, but it's a bit drawn out. Double dots are even more ridiculous to enter. Something along the lines of a quarter followed by a string of 16ths or 32nds, I forget which, with all but the first and last in the string rested. I only know this because a friend of mine with a MA in composition and conducting figured it out. Not a happy camper for having wasted $10..Muzically InclinedVersion: 1.0.2

✓ Don’t fully understand time signaturesThis is very close to being the best thing on the market. But it became obvious that you don’t totally understand time signatures. The lack of dotted rhythms and adjusted subdivisions during compound meter makes this app very ordinary. If you’re in compound meter you should be able to control each 8th note instead of each quarter note. Also, you count off needs to be adjusted so that it reflects the time signature. Close but missing significant basics. If you look at the “tempo” app you could learn how compound meter works and apply to your app!.JosiahDGVersion: 3.0.3

✓ ExpensiveNot a patch on PolyNome. Works out at over £20 when you The the in app purchases and and even it does nowhere near as much as what PolyNome can do. No ghost notes, no grooves, no kick, no hats, no set list. It’s nothing more than a glorified metronome and even then you have to pay for the glory. I spent £10 on this app and it’s not that much cop. I fell for the bull. Read this review and avoid making the same mistake I made..Sh1TT0Version: 3.2.0
