✓ Apple Watch display needs improvementI had hoped to use the Apple Watch app, but the display only shows the top half of the numbers. Perhaps this is because I have the original Apple Watch? I also find the process of entering numbers to be cumbersome. If I click on an item to change the value, I first have to backspace out the current value before entering the new value. I’d prefer that it just let me start typing the number right away instead of going through those extra steps. But I’m happy that this app is available. I haven’t used it much yet, but I’m sure it will be useful..@John TVersion: 2.4.2

✓ Good but…The = button on iPhone will scramble negative the number for the first tap, second tap will convert back to a close by number but not original number. I don’t know if it’s the calculation or Sporty’s ground school quiz answers are wrong. I got a different answer (off by 20 feet) when calculating density altitude. ✓ Important Conversion Functions MissingCannot believe that this app won't allow you to convert between JetA1 litres, pounds and kg! Similarly with Avgas conversions and many other conversion types. Incredibly, you can do all of this and much more using a basic calculator app such as PowerOneSE! In fact, PowerOneSE (& I suspect many other calculators) does a better job than Sporty's E6B in almost every calculation..Ddemw4Version: 2.3.1

✓ Weight & BalanceAs others have said, very disappointed that W&B does not yet exist in the new version. As a manager of an app development company, I recognize there are difficult decisions that have to be made when doing a rewrite of an existing app. Do we delay the release to get all the previous functions in the new app or do we release earlier and progressively add back the remaining functionality? But you have to recognize that when you remove a core function that is typically used in all flight planning, it is going to cause significant heartburn for existing users. The decision maker in this case clearly chose incorrectly. The best course of action is to recognize and acknowledge the mistake, and work as diligently as possible to correct it. ✓ Great design and calculations, but lacking in other areasThe best thing about this app is that it looks great, lots of calculations, and easy navigation. And the final calculations automatically update when an input is changed. However, the buttons (numbers/symbols) are way too small. There is a lot of wasted space (amongst other things a big sportys logo at the top). They could definitely fix this. It is especially apparent in the calculator- micro buttons compared to iPhone calculator. This is such a small issue, and i know that sportys has the resources to fix it. However, it doesn't seem like they are updating this app with new features. Not cool at all for a $10 app. No updates is why I give this 3 stars. A lot of other reviewers have important ideas and fixes as well that should be addressed. This app might just be dead(no real updates).Th3Fr3sh1Version: 1.3.3

✓ It's lacking in significant areasAll the necessary functions are there but it's a basic no-frills E6B. One technical problem is that you often have to tap numbers a couple times to get them to register. It's frustrating. The weight & balance doesn't store the info so you have to re-enter all values from scratch each time you use it. This combined with no graph display for W&B was a BIG dissappointment and means I won't use it. Come on how much does it take for the app to store the W&B arm and moment values and last entered weights?? All functions are pure text such as W&B as well as Crosswind which is sad given the potential for an iPhone app to display information graphically. Even some of the free E6B apps have this. No weather! The free app I've previously used can pull down the latest METAR's. Remember guys you are building this app for a device that has an Internet connection! It has a calculator function but no Memory key. When was the last time you saw a calculator without a memory function? That's just silly! You also can't do time calculations ie 04:36:00 - 00:46:16 = ?? that would be really handy! I can't count the number of times I've struggled to add or subtract a series of hh:mm:ss in my head for logging purposes. Timer is just a single simple count up/down timer. No way to have an overall time, with time for the current leg. If you want to time the flight and have a hold timer ... you can't do both at the same time. The count down timer alarm will go off even if you've moved to another area of the E6B which is useful but it would be nice if the alarm provided a vibrate function because you can't hear it at all in the cockpit. It doesn't remember the last function used. Everytime you start the app it takes you to the Pressure Density Altitude function. I would expect it to either remember the last screen used, or at the very least to be able to choose my start screen through a preferences option. Is it worth $4.99, not in my opinion because you can get free or paid E6B apps that do the same things better. However this is a version 1.0 so I'm really hoping that Sporty's will improve it because it has real potential and a nicer interface than most of the others..SkyQuest172Version: 0

✓ Can I have the old one back?Updated: Not as useful. I've heard people report missing functions. In my case I had favorites, a small group of functions I actually used in flight. In its place is a list of "saved" functions. I have no idea who decided to save them for special treatment. unlike what I said in my original post, you can add and remove Saved items, I guess I was expecting to be able to do that from the list, like at least 90% of the other apps I use. Instead this app made a design decision to put that ability in the numeric keyboard when using a function. IOW, to remove a starred favorite, you don't just swipe it away or un-star or edit the list, you have to use it to lose it..MkolberVersion: 3.0

✓ Good phone app but watch app is uselessI love the iPhone app and use it as my primary e6b. Yesterday I got the Apple Watch and was excited to be able to use functions there instead of having to break out the phone. NOPE. The only thing the watch app does is conversions. When I'm flying, I don't need to convert avgas gallons to pounds, I need to be able to calculate heading, distance, and fuel burn to my divert location! ✓ Mass & Balance Let DownI enjoy the app and feel it is a great tool however you cannot use the mass & balance option. The problem is that when you enter a new aircraft profile and provide the basic empty mass of the aircraft and centre of gravity position, the system does not recognize decimal points. So my aircrafts CG position is 75.25 but it won't recognize the .25 having a huge effect on the moment calculated which would lead to my mass & balance being incorrect. It is also a pity that you cannot delete or rename the set entries. The system automatically inserts a rear passenger listing and two baggage areas. On the training aircraft I fly we don't have two baggage areas nor rear passengers and there is no way of removing or renaming these listings..KingAir200Version: 2.0.5

I’m aware of the floating keyboard issue, and have followed all recommended fixes. It seems like the app just can’t detect the keyboard configuration, even when it is fixed in the other apps.
