✓ Loving it!I'm very happy with the app, it does what it says and is very visual and even taught me how to take an iPhone screen grab (which I didn't know before). The only thing that I'm a little concerned about (and it's not a failing with the app itself is scratching my phone by hitting it against a metal coin. Having said that, the "touch to activate" function will help with this. I'm certain that this will now become a regular feature in my magic repertoire. It's so nice having impromptu magic on the go and this is one of the most powerful bits of impromptu magic I have seen. By the nature of having on a phone, I'll never lose it and even when I'm abroad, I can just change currency. Easy to use, very visual and extremely powerful. Five star!.Version: 2.0

✓ A game changerThis app changes the dynamic of live performance by integrating modern commonalities into magic. The app is a brilliant concept with infinite potential and is very flexible with its wide selection of items and variations of those items. However the one change the app could use that would make it flawless would be to add a physical command/amount of pressing the screen that would allow the user to seamlessly change between items to vanish and reappear to allow for an ongoing performance using the app without having to turn the phone away from spectators or be seen editing some type of setting with would arouse suspicion and potentially expose the trick. Beyond that, the app is excellent. Also I think full size card backs should be available for every type of card on the app, rather than folded cards. Also, this is optional and doesn't effect the trick negatively but the cards should be proportioned to the type of phone using the app to make the card the same exact size as a real card, however I see the counter argument that a full sized card can be wider/larger than an iPhone screen. Thank you for your time and I hope to see some of these ideas integrated into the app. Especially the first. Being able to switch between items without going through the home screen settings and scrolling through would extend the wow factor of this app to unimaginable proportions. Also adding more items that are either common or are modern to the app would be awesome to give the user an incentive to keep using the app and can add a sense of being ahead of the curb by being able to use new items that have just been released or popularized. Later down the road, maybe even photo scanning to allow for a loose scanning ability to add a spectators signature on an item. One again thank you for your time. I love what you have all worked hard to create. Please continue to sharpen your craft and improve this excellent app. BRING BACK QUICK SWITCH. ✓ Great potentialThis is an effect for the advanced worker. If you are conversant with magic techniques, you will immediately realise the full potential of the program. It is, clearly, an effect in which the IPhone clearly does NOT do all the work for you; so you will be credited with being a magician, and not as a guy who happened to stumble upon a clever app (which is often what transpire with a lot of magic apps.) This is not only better, but works on things other than coins, which makes the trick significantly better, as in: Day 1: Do you have a quarter? Watch me stick it into, then through, my iPhone!! Day 2: No, I don't have a gimmicked phone that does something with quarters... here-- I have this Euro coin my brother gave me. See? In it goes! Day 3: What do you mean, it's some kind of trick with coins and my phone? Look, I'll take this playing card out of my deck, and... Contacted the developer because I had an issue with an upgrade the issue was I'm left handed, and as such, there was a risk doing the reveal that I could give how it's done away. I can see why there'd be concerns over scratching the back of the phone when doing the instructed strike vanish, but an alternative I use is to have the coin on the screen then strike vanish from there whilst holding a wand or pen... The court cards have the incorrect faces on some suits and the numbers are sometimes in accurately sized and placed. See, because it's not about the app with effects like this. The spectator won't see an app. Once you visually pull the object out of your phone, they'll think you materialized something from nothing. Trust me they've told me that. I can't write a fully in depth review going into immense detail on an iPhone here. But, I can say I recommend it for any serious magician in today's society. ✓ Amazing App, but needs UI updateThis is an amazing app, first of all. Any magician is able to use this to its max potential right off the bat. The only issue is, and I am sure the developers are working on this with every update, is adding new cards to the application. I was impressed it had everything from bicycles to dragon backs to artifices, but there is a long way to go when there are selection of cards. For example, there is only one color of artifice when the company of cards has about 4 or 5 colors and two versions. There are various other cards from Dan and Dave, Theory11, and Ellusionist that I want to see in here in future updates such as the Ignite deck, Arizona Red Plaids, ect. One thing I have noticed however, could you adjust the fake homescreen and make it that the actual time, signal bar, battery percentage etc. matches what it is in reality instead of taking a screenshot of the homescreen every time when performing this effect please? This would make it more realistic because some spectators may pick up on the heads up display at the top and if it doesn't match the real time etc then they may mention it. ✓ Card2phone Greatest iPhone App, I think!!I actually love Card2phone when I originally purchased it, I found it very well done, especially as a MagicTrick. I was running 4.0.1 OS on my iPhone at the time and wasn't able to get the new update, which included the Canadian Loonie and Toonie. It was only when I updated my iPhone to OS 4.2.1, I was pleasantly surprised to get Canadian currency. Fantastic! Now, the newest update has a Bic Pen top and a paperclip. It's hardly ever come up but once in a while people will say "it's just an app" despite how good the magic may be. I think it could be better disguised on my home screen or even better, password protected or locked by a dummy screen. Just my opinion. ✓ Great appGreat app and very visual if you get it right! I'm using an iPad and you need big hands to do the catch but that's not the apps problem. Only gave if 4 stars because I'm using pound sterling and there are some coins missing (2p, 20p, 50p) which was a disappointment as I like to work with 2s and 50s. ✓ App icon needs changingThe app is awesome i tend to find 70% of the time spectators are quite impressed with the illusion and are happy with that. However theirs always the odd spectator who's like let me see that phone and because of the app icon (after two different occasions of pointing out to me and the other spectators their) people tend to be less impressed with the effect. So now I don't let them see the phone after the affect which makes it seem "Less magical" if you get my drift. However this is only a tiny detail and doesn't spoil the fact that this is a great illusion for a quick trick or as part of a routine. I prefere to use a signed card card and use the mercury fold sleight and only make the back of the card apear on the phone but works just as well showing the face value of the card and using a duplicate. ✓ Awesome app!This is the best $7.49 I have spent in a long time! It’s great for fooling your friends and performing magic in front of people. But the reason I only rated it 4 stars is because it could used some improvements. First of all, the card faces are much smaller than the standard playing cards I have. So it would be good if there was an option to rescale the object yourself. Also it would be good if the were more full card backs. I was just wondering if you could add a feature where you can take a picture of an item and then crop the edges. ✓ CoolI've had this app for a very long time and I always use it in a set I do. But I've just started not to use it due to the fact that when I pass the phone to who Eva I'm showing my trick to. If they tap the screen 3 times trying to work the trick out it takes them to the app settings and you don't have to do the 2 finger swipe. ✓ A street magic mustI have used the app since its infancy, and while I miss the days when apple allowed a hide feature, I absolutely love the pro items and the inclusion of the sensitivity control and delay timer. Yes if you perform this trick properly people will want to look through your phone, but there are ways around it. And as with all magic tricks, it is all in the presentation. I'm not sure if it's because I only have a iPhone 5 and not a 6, but this update appears to make "playing cards" appear too large on my screen. Even by physical comparison there is a noteworthy difference. Not like previous version. Big problem for me because I'm a perfectionist and use this all the time. Perhaps it was made bigger on purpose just to point out more. Don't know. Just not as realistic as before. Hence the missing star. Hope the next update will address this.
