✓ Don’t waste your money. Doesn’t work.I downloaded this app a few years ago. Then it just stopped making any sound. I forgot I still have the app on my phone because it never works. Yes, it’s scheduled to work. Yes, the volume is on. It just doesn’t make any sounds. I tried going to the help link bit that just takes you to advertisement for their “top 6 apps” and then loops you right back to the App Store. So, yeah… there is no app support and the app doesn’t work..Version: 6.4.1
✓ Volume control works very poorly.Volume doesn’t work on app. The quiet bell is too quiet and the regular bell too loud. Loudness of bell does not respond to volume buttons on my iphone xr. Also, the limit on the number of bells is annoying. It makes it very difficult to set up your bell for the entire day. I find it hard to understand what software limitation creates such a stringent limit on the total number of bells.Version: 5.2.1

✓ Doesn't run in backgroundThis is a great tool to have working away in the background but the trouble is it isn't doing that at all. ✓ Chime is too quiet.This app is pretty great, but I’ve found the sounds to be too quite. I have to put the volume on my phone at 100% to be able to hear it. There needs to be a way to adjust the chime volume from within the app, otherwise all other notifications are super loud..Version: 6.3.2

✓ Why such a low max limit for bells?Otherwise exactly what I was looking for, but why the limit of 64 maximum scheduled mindfulness reminders? ✓ Works, but...This app works well enough for what it is. I grabbed it primarily because it was one of the few apps I could find that offered bells at random intervals; while these do work fine, I wish the app would actually display the correct number of remaining bells as they progress. Example: If you set it to ring randomly twice an hour, beginning at 10am and stopping at 9pm, it'll show a list of upcoming bells which all simply read '-random bell-', and shows the remaining bell count at 22. But as the bells begin to go off, this list remains unchanged, and the remaining bell count stays locked at 22. In other words, no indication of progress at all. Again, this is a fairly minor issue considering they the app does what it's meant to do, but I wish they'd fix it so that the random bell times were actually displayed, and the remaining count kept accurate..Version: 4.1.4

✓ Not obvious, not working.I’ve tried all ways to get the selected, upgraded bell to signal. Only the original will sound but you can’t learn this until you’ve purchased. Not worth trying to unravel. Turning on notifications as instructed does not solve issue. Preset schedule doesn’t appear to work at any time length start etc. the timer with no presets does work. It’s what I wanted exactly. ✓ Very buggy & doesn’t even bell sometimesIt’s very hard to meditate when you keep wondering whether the app will actually sound the bell this time or not!!! When the screen is locked, sometimes the app rings the bell and others doesn’t. Thought maybe because it was on silent and made sure it isn’t, still very moody performance! Also if you have the mindfulness reminders on, you cannot use the meditation timer unless you cancel the former! Very strange.. I know it’s free which is why two stars, but come on….Version: 6.4.1
✓ Wanted it to work…Nice idea, but even with all of the rules about how to make it sound when it chimes, it doesn’t work. Latest iOS on an iPad and have all of the notification settings, etc. on and ready. The bells sound when you tap on the sounds, but when it comes around to an alert - volume up and ready - it just doesn’t sound. ✓ Not an app I recommendIt drains so much battery life. Basically I can start a 20minute session with 75% battery life and then by the end I’m hitting the 20% indicator. So what ends up happening is that when I’m looking to meditate for 20 minutes when my phone is at 35% battery left then why would I even bother using this app? I just like it for the bell. ✓ Company no longer exist???I paid for the upgrade. It is not working. I have tried all troubleshooting options, reached out to apple, tried their troubleshooting links, nothing. Tried to contact the developer, and have been prompted several times, “no connection to server,” over a two week period. Tried googling the company and dead end there as well. I have used this app in the past and LOVED it. Was trying to use it again and then share it with a large community I am in but have hit a point where apple is just going to refund me. I am sad! ✓ No goI tried this product because Insight Timer doesn’t use the internal clock but relies on elapsed time, which gradually lags due to being interrupted by other audio programs (y’know, like the phone? Mindfulness Timer at least uses the internal clock...sorta. I set up a timer schedule for every day, using the free default bell, but got sporadic results on my iPhone 6plus and my iPhone 8plus. Sometimes it would ring, most of the time not. I decided to try the subscription version. Major change: no results whatever and even at initiation it fails to ring the bell I chose and paid for. So I logged onto the mfg site, only to be very strongly warned that it was not only insecure but suspected of data theft. For my own protection I removed MT from both iPhones and requested a refund from Apple. Wish I could give it a negative star or at least zero..Version: 6.3.2

✓ Hope this can be fixed…Unfortunately when I click “get support” it opens up the developers website to allow me to click what app of theirs I need support with, and when I click it it redirects me back to the App Store where my only other recourse is to leave a review. So here it is.. This would be a lovely experience except for the fact that the bells do not fade out naturally, it instead are abruptly cut off. I cannot see any setting on my end to allow the bell to resonate to its natural conclusion. The abrupt and premature cutoff of the bell completely undermines what would otherwise be a fabulous experience. I’ll update this review to reflect improvements if said improvements occur, or if I’m given guidance as to how to adjust something on my end to eliminate the issue.
