As a language teacher, I need to have a variety of ways of revising vocab and I have been making my own vocab wheels to fit various topics eg rooms in a house, transport, sports etc. i keep the wheels in English so they can be used in any foreign language. So on a very basic level you can spin the wheel and the teacher selects a pupil to say the word that the arrow stopped on, who then answers the word correctly and the pupil then decides the next 'victim'! Can also be used with older pupils eg talk for 20 seconds etc about (spins wheel) the environment etc. good for practice for the speaking exams. Would recommend and interested to hear how other educators, particularly mfl teachers use or envisage using this in their classes..Version: 1.4

I have a wheel for each grade, listing the various scales, triads, and exercises (I've thrown in a few novelty options to help with motivation!) My students really enjoy using this app to choose what activities to do. I have wheels for composing, improvising, rhythms, music history... It's great that I can now share a wheel I've made with either students or other teachers. The new colours are popular too! The only thing to be improved: I agree with another review that wedges, once selected, should temporarily disappear, so that the ongoing wedge selection remains random. Also, it would be good to have an option to automatically deselect wedges: my primary use is to select a scale - as anyone who plays piano will know, it's good to play them once, but then it's time to move on to the next one! I have one wheel with the names of all the students in my class on one device, and another on a second device with quiz questions based on what we're learning at the time. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I wish I there was an option to reactivate things I have already deactivated, the only option right now is to reset all deactivated things, not add back one by one if I want to. I have a wheel with about 50 things on it so resetting and reactivating the ~20 that were deactivated is not as easy as just adding one back. ✓ Great little implementation of the decision wheelThis app does pretty much what you expect and it does a nice job at it. Editing lists is not immediately obvious at first. The color schemes are nice and I like dark mode. This is better than other similar apps I have used. The only suggestion that I see right away would be some advanced property to adjust the relative weight of each option on a wheel ... that is, given a list of four options (for example) in which one option is more desirable than the others, it would be nice to adjust the preferred option to take up more of the wheel (like 40% and the others reduce to 20% each). Ideally, maybe have a “+” and “++” switch next to an option to increase that option’s relative weight (which translates to relative area on the wheel). You could also approach it with a “-“ and “- -“ implementation. Just a thought; An improvement to an otherwise great app..Version: 2.0.2

✓ Lot of FunI run a ukulele group and we use the app to select songs to perform from our song list. It stops individuals from just selecting the same favourites and means we get to play more obscure songs as they come up randomly. Deactivating songs played means we don’t get repeats..Version: 2.1

✓ I use this everydayAmazing app. I use it as my main to do list during my work day and during my “hobby time.” I appreciate the new update, but it is trickier to edit an existing wheel (something I do multiple times a day as new tasks come up).
