Would be nice if a failed fax didn’t count as one of the free ones, and I’m not going to spend money on the paid version when I don’t know for sure if it even works. ✓ Rip-off, paid subscription but account locked out.Less than a year ago, I paid the $100 for a year subscription. I hardly used it soon after that, but when I recently needed to fax something, to my surprise I was “locked out”, as if my account never existed even though it says there is already an account in that email address, and even when resetting the password numerous times it still will not log me in even with the obviously correct login info. Very shady to disable a paid account so one can no longer use it/send faxes. Unfortunately, I discovered this too late so can’t get a refund/do a chargeback, so my only recourse is to warn others that while this is a great FREE app only for the limited faxes, absolutely DO NOT pay. The fact they only offer a year long, $100 subscription and not anything shorter/cheaper is a red flag I should’ve paid attention to. UPDATE: to add insult to injury, I got notified they unsuccessfully tried to charge me again to continue my “subscription”. I never opted for any sort of automatic billing/renewal, so unless it was the default, the fact they took it upon themselves to try to continue to rip me off for services NOT rendered is totally scummy. Beware and stay far away from the PAID version! SECOND UPDATE: persistent buggers tried to charge me AGAIN unsuccessfully only 3 days after the first attempt. ✓ Waste of timeI needed to send a fax from Australia to the U.K. but the app doesn’t recognise the fax number — and I tried with all possible configurations — with an international dialling code. ✓ Worse than Worthless!Time spent trying to get this app to send a fax is time you will never get back! For me it was 2 days of trying to attach files to an email and from DropBox. Failure after failure. Tomorrow I will drive to an office that still has a fax machine and send my faxes, because Fax Burner does not work at all. So disappointed in this app. I did receive a fax from Fax Burner company saying they could see me trying to send a fax and generously giving me more hours to keep my temporary fax number in case I was waiting on a return fax. ✓ Works well but…… the file either has to be in your photo library or on Dropbox. I had to sign up for Dropbox in order to send a file. The file was in my Google Drive but that isn’t an option so I have to risk a 30-day trial with Dropbox because Dropbox doesn’t have a free option anymore, at least not on iOS. Now that I have sent the file, I can go and delete Dropbox but it’s all the extra work that needs to be done just to send a fax. If they gave more options like using iCloud on the IPHONE or Google Drive or One Drive, I may have given it 5 stars..Ajay876KVersion: 6.0.8

✓ Questionable business practicesI had a fax burned account…for 3 more months that I was aware of. Each month I would receive a payment confirmation and I would check my APP store account, and the FaxBurner app would not show as being active…then the next month, I would get another. Each time I would check the APP store and would see that I did not have an active account and again assume that I had cancelled the app…only to pay again the next month. Every other APP I have gotten via the APP store, can be tracked and cancelled via the APP store…but NOT THIS ONE!!! You need to go to their site, and hunt for the way to cancel, not like other sites that have a “cancel subscription” link in plain site on the home page. The app did a fair enough job of doing what it claimed to do, but the shady way that the company operates makes me advise that you LOOK ELSEWHERE for a different app..GingerHaterVersion: 6.0.8
