✓ Not strictly holidaysFirstly, the app's name, meant I was expecting this app to just show bank holidays for the uk. It in fact shows other days such as valentine's day (as well as other countries) Im never quite clear when bank hols occur so, for me, I would have preferred to select just bank Hols and ideally just English ones. But on the whole this is a great idea and I added in mother and father days! One error I noticed was when you use the 'same for other years' when you select, it does not do this properly for New Year's Day bank hol-this is a substitute day in 2012 so when you deselect New Year's day it does not pick it up in 2013 and 2014. Love how all the Hols then simply appear in my iPad calendar..Version: 2.00

✓ Does not workHad problems getting this app to work. Following advice from app developer I reset "location and privacy" under settings-general-reset and it worked. All the dates for holidays were entered onto my calendar and I am very pleased. I had efficient and prompt support from the developer of the app for which I am most grateful..Version: 2.50

Had no problems and works very well on iPad 3 Just one thing to be aware of, delete any entries for 1st April 2013 as iOS does not like it and will crash when you select March 2013, this is not the fault of the app, it's a fault with iOS..Version: 2.30
✓ Handy app, does its job well.Neither Apple nor Google seem to be very good at providing UK holiday calendar feeds. A quick search turned up this app, and it did exactly what I needed, allowing me to create all the UK public holidays for the next few years in a new, separate calendar on my phone (you can also add them to an existing calendar.) With Apple's iCloud syncing my calendars, too, I now have this holiday calendar available on all my Macs. Useful! Also, I was glad to find (after I'd added all the holidays to the wrong calendar by accident) that it has a facility to remove the added entries, too, and that seems to work just fine. If I could add one thing to this app, it would be a separate listing of actual public holidays in England -- i.e. the days when I don't have to go to work, which are the important ones for me! -- but it didn't take long to weed out the non-holiday events using the app's simple interface, and that's not much of a hardship, once every few years! All in all, a very useful app at a very reasonable price..Version: 2.00
✓ Great App!Just downloaded with no problems at all, does exactly what I want. All holidays now in calendar, including Easter - the one some have had trouble with. ✓ More or less perfectIt takes just a few minutes to customise what public holidays and notable dates you want to add to your default calendar up to 2016. Unlike the old iCal calendars you can edit the dates if you make a mistake (although it would be hard to get it wrong) By the time I had clicked save on my iPad my iPhone calendar had been updated. You can also add other calendars if you need them. About the only criticism is that it only goes up to 2016 but if that means it's costing me 23p per year I can live with that! JUST BUY IT..Version: 2.50
