✓ An Essential App For Serious MusiciansIf you happen to own PDF copies of several musicians' fake books, iGigBook is an incredibly handy tool. By carefully following instructions, you can copy your fake books onto your iPad, and once done, you can search for songs by name or subset of name in the title. Often the same song appears in several different books. If a few of your books fail to bring up the correct song, you can add or subtract pages from the indexing scheme until the right song pops up. Now you can read the chords and melody of each song and play or practice each song on your instrument, just as you would do from the original print copy of your fake book. This is a well-written tool that I use daily..Version: 4.9.1

✗ User hostile-Don’t purchaseI was super-excited when I discovered this software, but there is nothing intuitive about getting it configured, uploading the docs, etc. First, very little support, period. The documentation hasn’t been updated for several years. For instance, iTunes doesn’t exist anymore. The application is not among those listed to work with Google drive, so I can’t access the fake books. It’s just a frustrating experience. No human being to reach for answers..Version: 8.3
✗ Very difficult to get startedI have had this app for a long time now but I never use it. I have a few of my own pdfs in it and a few that were probably included. No matter how I try to add new material such as the recent free pfds offered by igig, I get nothing but hundreds of blank pages. Every convoluted instruction leads to a dead end. I don’t even know where to start with the help section. I’m deleting this app and takinbg the loss. Going by other negative reviews, I expect to receive a snarky condescending reply from the developer..Version: 7.1.1
