✓ Can't create real set listsUnless im missing something it looks like set lists can only be created from existing scores, but I want to also include ad hoc items, like a real set list would be. Ive tried several apps and this is sadly yet another so called set list manager that doesn't deliver what many musicians really need. Waste of money..Version: 1.70
✓ HopelessI've had this app for a month now and it is impossible to set up. The web based Help is hopelessly complicated and the advice given simply does not work. Adding PDF files to your device via iTunes is a non event and the endless forums and discussions on this useless app give some indication as to the song and dance you have to endure to get the thing up and running. It's a big DELETE from me. Give me iReal any day. Simple, straightforward and reliable..Version: 1.84

✓ Fake book managerPointless if you are looking to organize your own sheet music. This app is mainly for fake books and frankly I find it tedious even for that. There appears to be no way to delete or change music without being online or connected to iTunes. If I'm wrong, it's because this app is unintuitive and mysterious. Nobody should need a video course to manage a few dozen pages of music. For fake books, there are some handy indexes but few for non jazz musicians. I feel like this was a waste of $15 because after playing with it for a day I know now that I'll never use it. A preview App would have saved me from being unhappy..Version: 2.51
✓ Good app but....Would be great if you could: 1) create chord charts like you can on the phone version (unfortunately I bought this version thinking it was the same... grr) 2) Landscape mode - especially if you could create chord charts. 3) An easy way to delete a chart from the list!!! A simple swipe to delete would be great. I can't for the life of me work out how to delete a chart. Not exactly a logical layout. 4) Air print - Not everyone has an Ipad so an easy print of charts to hand out to musos would be great. ✓ MrOnly contains contents for 34 real/fake books. You have to rename your books to make it work. Does not search or operate without internet conection, not good when searching for songs on stage away from wifi or like me.....on a cruise ship. Great idea but now i am hoping there are some serious updates before i can actualy use it as intended. I was hoping this would catalogue and make it easy to manage the 100's of pdf books i have but even adding your own books on the website does not seem to work. p.s. if the CONTACT link on your website worked this comment would not be here.Version: 0

✓ Clunky and overpriced.This app is a reader only. You must find your own copies of the various PDF files for the fake books. These files must exactly match the pagination the app expects, and must be named the way the app expects, or it won't work. The setup process is poorly documented and unintuitive. As a reader, it fills a niche, but the interface is a mess. It follows its own set of rules for page turns, help and so on. For example, swiping a page won't turn it - instead, you must tap the lower half of the page. All in all, this app has a sloppy, homemade feel. I don't think it's worth the high price..Version: 1.92
✓ Hidden depthsGreat app, and am using it more and more- a couple of tweaks to suggest: 1. The email function is not obvious to use and 2. I still haven't worked out how to buy and add books of music, why not ,at least, provide a link to a known seller to enable a book to be bought and loaded straight into igigbook using just 1-2 keystrokes?.Version: 4.9.1
✓ Great app, use something else for scoresI purchased this app for the jazz chord charts. I've managed to get a few fake books loaded in. I've also added some of my own scores. ✓ Needs a user interface designerI happily use this app for real books and with charts for a big band I play in. It works well once it is set up. However, I think it is the most obscure and awkward interface and system for any professional app and website I have ever used. It is clearly written by a computer programmer alone with no user interface professionals involved. The functionality is good, and I am satisfied until I need to update a book index or add a page to PDF and have to deal with the inner workings and all the details that should be abstracted away by a better interface. I really hope that it gets an update based on conventional and better user interface design principles. Thanks..Version: 2.53
✓ Now I'm sad :(A great idea and extremely useful. But now, it crashed on startup right when I needed it. Good thing I own the paper books. I don't trust this app at this point. ✓ Brilliant app, but how the hell do you change your password??I rated this app 5 stars originally, but recently Apple told me my password for it had been compromised and strongly advised changing my password. So, I go on the IGIGBOOK forum, hoping to find a quick and easy solution. How wrong could I be! The only reference to changing my password I could find in the forum was dated 2013 where they admitted is was impossible. NINE YEARS LATER, you get told to click on 'Forgot Password', which I did and was sent an email containing my existing password. Remember? I wanted to change it. So, IGIGBOOK moderators, if there is a way to change my password, PLEASE let me know, because the forums are worse than useless on this topic. ✓ Sadly lackingIGigbook does a passable job of organizing charts. It's big draw is to find any song from a number of Fake Books which it does reasonably well. There are some big issues when the PDF you have doesn't sync with the developers version however. Be aware that it only works in portrait mode. Switching pages can be difficult during performance and there is no scroll option. The Set List Manager obscures your list beneath the keyboard! And there is a whole issue about renaming songs and files. It likes to rename every imported chart (not a book) with P1 before the title making it necessary to rename and re-index imported charts every time. Really? You can add a performance note to any given page, but the interface is cumbersome and ugly. Looks like a Post It note and you can't do any musical notation (like a sharp or flat). Adobe Reader (iPad) has a waay better one - just zoom in and write with your finger! My musician friends and I struggled getting it up and running. Get ready to spend some time with this app. If you can get away with using Reader, by all means do so..Version: 2.66.2
✓ IGig BookThis app does exactly what it says on the tin. It's a good App, but I would prefer an easier management system. It's quite difficult to get rid of scores from My Scores when needed. I would prefer the simple swipe and delete, application. I think it also needs some kind of file sort, I would like to be able to put pieces into categories, not just play lists, and the capability to edit scores would also be nice but these are just minor, personal wants. As I said, it does exactly what it says on the tin,and the transfer of scores from my iWrite music app is a stroke of genius, if your looking for an App that will keep your music all in one place and capable of storing lots of them, then this is the app for you, on the whole I am very pleased that I bought it..Version: 1.83
✓ Abysmal AppAbsolute waste of money - don't touch this App with a barge pole, unless you want to fill the pocket of the producer. I sent message with a question and I am one week further on and not received a single reply. ✓ IGigbook ReviewIn fairness to the app creators, the idea of iGigbook is great! But the fact that I've payed about £10 to get it and not have anything other than two samples is pretty stupid and a bit of a con. At least give us some of the standards and books you've listed! Give it it's due, I have managed to use my own PDFs on the app but honestly I would want a lot more for the amount I paid just for one single app! I don't care if we are paying for the storage space but someone please show me where it says that on the App Store because I couldn't find it, and actually we are led to believe that we are given all this music and the chord sheets; but this doesn't happen! Maybe it was just me but I don't usually miss any important info. It helps yes, but could be so much better - as of yet a bit of a waste of my money really but it has potential. ✓ Poor supportI admit I’m not a computer programmer. I’m a musician. When I asked for assistance uploading PDF files I was told to download iTunes. When I asked for help indexing I was told this program does not support all indexes. When I asked to chat or talk on the phone I was told there for support Personnel do not make phone calls. It is probable that this program would work for me but not if I can’t figure out how to use it. And the support team seems to be only interested in sending short answers via email and the communication between us has not worked out. All of the ratings on the website are four and five star. I regret my rating is not equally as high I told support that I did not understand and they said they would just say that I had rejected their help in their response I have continued to ask for help. To their credit I still get email answers. We paid for the app and are determined to make it work. IGigBook support says emails have worked for their customers in the past and that is the support they offer. I am raising our rating because they are trying even if their answers are still confusing..Version: 6.1.1

✓ Igig BookI am really disappointed with this product. All my fake books (Real Books) are in Kindle format and apparently are not compatible with Igig Book. ✓ StumpedI'm not computer illiterate by any means. Many say this app s the bees knees. I am utterly perplexed by it. I congratulate the developers in making a simple concept a complete pain to set up. I cannot find a simple way to connect the real books to the index. I don't understand what the app is doing. I have renamed the books according to the codes but no dice. I keep seeing long strings of numbers appended to the start of the file name. I have spent ages trying to make this work but to no avail. Maybe I'm doing or not doing something really stupid but enough is enough. All this app needs to be is a set of hyperlinks. There should be no complicated codes no mystery about what's happening. ✓ IPad pencil issues with drawing featThe drawing feature is ok using your finger. However it is terrible with the iPad pencil. Very long lag time while trying to draw using my iPad pencil. Also the draw feature does not work properly in split screen on a ipad pro. You draw a figure, ad it appears a inch away. ✓ Half bakedThis app would be (and is) great once you have figured out how to use. That is the problem- it’s just not user friendly. I also bought Forscore for comparison’s sake and the difference is quite noticeable in terms of ease of use and clearly laid out instructions. IGigBook might be better for bulk uploads of Realbooks ( if they were available) but for uploading a miscellany of random charts and sorting them it’s not..Version: 6.4
✓ User hostile-Don’t purchaseI was super-excited when I discovered this software, but there is nothing intuitive about getting it configured, uploading the docs, etc. First, very little support, period. The documentation hasn’t been updated for several years. For instance, iTunes doesn’t exist anymore. ✓ Extremely misleading would like a refundThis app is extremely misleading. I was looking for lead sheets for a show. I have IrealPro which is awesome and very user friendly. The description lead me to believe that this was like Ireal Pro but with lead sheets so I paid the $25. It is not at all like IReal pro, from what I can gather you have to somehow creat PDF's of all of your real books to then put them into this app? And this is supposed to save time how? This is ridiculous. It is way easier to just take my book then spend hundreds of hours creating PDF's. Unless I am missing something as the app is so, not user friendly, and the help section is very poor. I assumed there was a sharing forum where you went to add the PDF's to this app but it does not seem to exist? I want my money back but I am sure that will not happen. That would be fair. ✓ Complicated, has to be managed onlineIf you want to be able to use the indexes you have to go online and select the indexes individually which is time consuming as you select and save each index one at a time. Plus you have to guess if you are mapping the right books to the right 8.3 file names. The support documentation is also online buried in a forum and not well maintained. ✓ Extremely complicated, time consuming, and false advertisingI downloaded this app expecting it to be a time saver. Adding PDFs is complicated and not explained well. You have to jump from your iPad to your computer back and forth, from their very messy and confusing website, there is no part of this app that is easy. ✓ Very difficult to get startedI have had this app for a long time now but I never use it. I have a few of my own pdfs in it and a few that were probably included. No matter how I try to add new material such as the recent free pfds offered by igig, I get nothing but hundreds of blank pages. Every convoluted instruction leads to a dead end. I don’t even know where to start with the help section. I’m deleting this app and takinbg the loss. ✓ Great idea, but there's a huge problemIt's a great app, IF - and that is a very big if - you can find the PDF's that match the indices. Or if you have a PDF editor and can shuffle your PDFs to match it. Whichever approach you take, prepare for hours (at least) of work trying to line up the books with the indices. The design of the website you need to visit to tell it what indices you're using is bizarre to say the least. It would be much better if the Edit button was changed to a simple Toggle. Sorry but just one star until some solution to this is found, cos the app is a waste of time (lots of it) and money if you don't just happen to have the right files..Version: 1.59
