✓ Printing for IPad works great!I have an iPad original and a wifi printer, Canon Pixma ip4000. I've wasted $50 trying to find a print app that would work with my setup. Some had me download a version of their print app to my desktop machine but it still wouldn't print to my printer. One app had me download what they called a PC app helper but it was only available to windows machines and was not compatible with an Apple. This app takes some getting used to - and isn't just hit the button in your program to print...it takes importing a document to their app to print it. It's not what many of us are expecting from todays technology but it works!!!! I can print documents from the iPad now and to me it rocks! This is definitely a good choice if you do not have a new AirPrint printer. I wish I had found this app first before I wasted so much money and time!.Version: 3.1
✓ Printer AppThis the first app I have found that actually works, it is easy to print attachments, though printing an e mail is more complicated. my only complaint is the print is either to large or too small, I have not found a way to get a print preview, or to adjust the print to one page..Version: 3.0
✓ Works well on my iPad2Based on the previous reviews I was hesitant to get this app but gave it a shot and have had few problems. I downloaded it when I was at my brother's place and his more recent inkjet printer was added right away. After entering the IP address of his really old Laserjet, I printed a number of pages on it easily. When I got home, my two printers were found easily and I have been printing web pages and pdf's without any hitches. Sometimes it's like printing from a PC but others times you have to copy the URL into a new document, save it with an .html extension and then print. I'm not sure why you have to do that but my guess is that if the website you're trying to print from initiates the print process it will print like a PC. If not, you need to create a document. Small annoyance for me because most of the time I'm just trying to print something that the website knows I want to print like insurance ID cards or airline boarding passes..Version: 1.3

Printing for iPad immediately recognized the Brother HL-2170W connected by USB to my MacBook Pro, and accepted both a PDF and document text copied from 7NotesHD handwriting recognition app. Perhaps 5 stars would be more appropriate, but I don't have broad experience with iPad apps..Version: 3.7.1

✓ Great app!This app worked flawlessly from the first try. It is fairly simple to use, but certainly not intuitive. i see the other reviews and I read an online review about iOS printing that was also very negative. Only thing I can figure is that I am using a "WiFi" printer, not a "wireless" printer. They are two different things and wifi is soo much simpler & less complex. Why vendors (especially HP) choose to be so confusing is strange. Anyway, great app, works flawlessly, if a bit clunky to use. Thanks again!.Version: 3.0
✓ Works greatI was a bit Leary about buying this app because of all the negative reviews, however the app worked great right out of the box. Used evaluation freebie first and used an iPad application for taxes to check functioning. Pressed print on tax app and this app came up and gave me several choices, made choice and printed. Great job. I can only assume that negative reviews were generated by spoiled naive users,as opposed to we who grew up with basic and DOS, or were reviews of previous iterations of this app. Bob new Apple convert..Version: 3.2

✓ Great buy for $5I was looking for a free printing AP but none worked with my Brother HL-2270DW. I tried the test version and it worked. To print from a website, you have to use a browser contained within this AP. Not terribly convenient but I'm finding inconvenience is a trend with the iPad. The print quality & resolution are poor, but it does exactly what I need it to in terms of small print jobs; lists, emails, notes. Maybe I'm overlooking something, but I'd like to see an "enlarge" or alter print size feature. I have not tried to use this with any other aps and be warned that the resolution is too poor to print pictures or coupons..Version: 1.3
✓ Works!Tried the free app, and it found my Brother HL-2280DW and worked fine. Bought the full version, and it works fine as well. You do have to read the documentation, and once you understand how it works, it's really pretty easy. Tried other similar 'test' apps, with out any success. I just wish Brother would support the late model HL-22xxDW series printers with their free app, as that looks real user friendly. Four stars is the best I can give this one tho..Version: 3.2

✓ Works pretty wellPros: Easy to add printers and unique port numbers are supported, which allow use of print servers. Nice document viewer in the app. Printing works as expected. Supports copy/paste to create documents for printing in the app. Cons: The app crashes when you add a printer (free version did too). Not a huge deal since the config is saved. Documents have to be imported into the app in order to print them. Not unusual from what I read. The app opens port 8080 by default so be sure to lock that down before you take your iPad to a public network!.Version: 3.5

✓ Morons & IdiotsDon't believe the other reviewers. I am a self taught computer geeket, and figured out this app. All it takes is reading the instructions and patience. I know that getting items into the app was a bit of a pain, but now I can get it there with no problem. ✓ Did what I wanted it to doSometimes you want to print a web page. End of story. I had to install a oldish HP Laserjet manually - HP 2200 - and it suggested the appropriate port (9100). It is connected to the network with a fixed IP that I set up, so I knew where to find it. The Download feature did a better job of rendering than Insta****r and it printed! There seem to be lots more features to explore, but printing in minutes. Print quality wasn't fabulous, so 4 stars. I'm sure 5 stars is only an update or two away. Well done..Version: 0

✓ Can't speak for everyone else.....but this works a treat for me. Sharing a Samsung ML-1915 printer on my iMac and this app finds and prints to it perfectly from my iPad. Just have to make sure that the proprietary print method is used instead of the iOS one, because that won't find anything unless it's an AirPrint printer. Tested with PDFs and works great. It does not like Pages documents - prints them as an image. No big deal as I tend to convert everything to PDF anyway..Version: 1.3

✓ Surprise - it worked!I tried the demo and it worked fine. I decided to buy the print app and while it downloaded, I noticed all the bad reviews. I thought, well kiss that $4.99 goodbye. I opened the app and reviewed the documentation. The app immediately found all my printers. I understood that each app had its own space on the iPad and could only access documents in its own space. There are multiple ways, according to the document, to import what you would like to print but it IS confusing. The photo import works like a charm. Emailing and opening an attachment doesn't work for me at all. What I did find is that any document I place in Dropbox could be imported and printed quickly and painlessly. The key to using this app is understanding how to import documents, or anything else you would like to print into the print app. There are a few more options to import which I haven't tried yet, but I am very satisfied with the results..Version: 3.6
