✓ Hard WorkTook a long time to get this working....Manual is not very helpful. I was also trying uCamPro which was much more expensive. So....This app has a scan facility to find your camera (unlike uCamPro)...bingo. That's good. Once working (not for the faint hearted if you can't sort port forwarding on your router!) It connects fine. The motion control from a remote device (I-Phone) is too course....a pan/tilt initiation moves it much further than the control in the supplied software (and the uCamPro). Also, there is no way to detect motion, take a snapshot and then E-Mail the result. This is what I want and is available on the uCamPro app but unfortunately that app didn't support my particular camera, unlike this one. So....depends what you want to do but I would like to see more features (as above) included and improvement to the remote control..Version: 1.6.9

✓ The Best!I’m using this app since many years. Recently, I have purchased a new DLink camera DCS-8302LH for the exterior. I have tried the mydlink app for few days, always on, on an old iPhone but mydlink app is not stable and it freezes after few hours. I was very happy to know that my new camera support ONVIF and that IPCam Viewer supports ONVIF cameras. IPCam Viewer works perfectly, always on, does not freeze after many hours, days, ... I love this app! For the dlink cam, you will have to enter user and password to use ONVIF. The user is admin and you will find the password in the documentation that comes with the cam. ✓ The best!This app just works! others I've tried are fiddly or complicated to setup, this is just right. It can even email the cam settings to other iOS devices so only need to setup one device, and just apply the settings on other devices. The developer is very responsive too which is a big bonus. I've only had one problem, the last update squashed my cams displays into a letterbox format. I emailed the developer and it was fixed in an updated version. It even has a “Mass Action” feature which permits me to turn on Motion Detection for all of them at the same time. I reported a very minor bug to the developer and a week or two later the new version had the bug fixed. This app is well worth the cost, I would give it a 10 star rating if I could. It gives a full screen view on the iPad and allows me to access all the functions on my foscam IP cam. It allows multiple cameras. ✓ This is one great appI was amazed this app supported my cheap Chinese un branded IP camera - considering even the website for it didn't seem to exist when I bought it. It worked flawlessly first time and even supports some of the more advanced features, such as pan/tilt presets and even turning the IR light on and off. This is something even the official software didn't offer. It's easy to use and very cheap considering the amount of updates it gets (new drivers seemingly released every other week). Being able to email the camera settings to other people running the software means no fiddling about with configuration, just add the camera on another device. I had a brute force attack on my network recently and I secured the router and closed all ports to outside traffic. Is there a more secure way to reach these cameras remotely? Found a new bug. ✓ Best of what is out there.After I purchased 4 foscam cameras I went crazy and downloaded about 4 to 5 ip camera apps. I found this one to be the best of all of them in the way you can control every function of the camera but the biggest letdown is the graphical interface. On the iPad version the controll buttons are not very attractive and almost a little small, the loading screen seems like a 20x20px gif blown up to full screen. ✓ Great appIt seems a few people complain about this app not working unless you are connected to the same network which is not true you just need to know about port forwarding or use a VPN. It is not down to the app to support this as i feel it is impossible but instead the cameras you are using.. This is far more secure than sending your footage over the internet to some App in the cloud. You ‘simply’ have to set up a port for each camera on your router to allow remote access. As simple as it is, but I would really love for the creator of it to add camera per page, so that way you can scroll and load other, other feature I would add is to add a red outline in the camera that detects movement and the final one I would add is to change the to a different black one. Absolutely amazing. On my Tenvis camera I have audio which is why I downloaded the pro, I can listen to my office and also speak through the camera. The only Apple Store app I have ever bought and worth every penny even at £4.99 this would be a steal. Has great customization and supports most of the systems/cams on the market so i can check it all in one place. One update i would like to see is better response when switching favorite cam groups. When pressing recall group, i have to wait for most of the cameras on screen before switching, this can take up to a minute and can be excruciating!.Version: 3.2.8
