Piascore - Smart Music Score for Positive User Reviews

Great App For A Keyboard PlayerI’m a keyboard player at our church and I needed an app with which I could quickly re-order our set list, and easily change out songs. I also needed to be able to write notes on the page as needed. I have an Apple Pencil and this app is wonderful. I easily added all our PDFs to the app, and can create set lists adding any of them I want. I can reorder the set list on the fly, and once I figured out how to change the color and size of the pen tool, I can easily add notes. I can create several playlists for any gigs I have to do. I love this app..Version: 6.1.1

Excellent valueI downloaded Piascore and found it very easy to photo, change to PDF and copy to Piascore my historical music scores. Plus downloading lyrics and copying. Its all I needed to do..Version: 6.1.13

Great Solid App for Practicing and PerformancesI switched permanently to Piascore after experiencing crashes with some other competing score apps during rehearsals and performances. This app can handle large orchestral scores in landscape mode without crashing and with minimal loading time. I’ve been using Piascore for all of my performances since 2015. Solid app, it’s absolutely worth getting the paid version. A couple requests if the Piascore developers are out there and listening: 1. It would be so great to have a few more pen options; with the current four “ready pens,” I am having to waste a lot of time adjusting for new colors or new pen sizes while editing or marking up my scores. 2. Some of the stamps could be improved upon. The flat and natural signs are too thin to be seen well in landscape mode scores. The number one (1) is also a little bit bigger than the other numbers, just enough that it bothers me when putting in fingerings that I feel the need to adjust the font size just for number 1..Version: 6.16.0

Good appHas some nice features like scrolling and the upgrade to the full version is quite reasonable. Manual needs more detail eg adding songs from iTunes etc but ongoing updates may add this. Still has some way to go to beat DD Gigbook.Version: 6.1.4

Excellent applocationEasy and friendly to use, save a lot of printing on papers.Version: 6.15.8

This Is GreatI can carry around a virtual library and call up any piece of music at church in an instant. We can now add a piece to fill time without me having to stand over the piano player. I also can turn pages backward and forward with a tap of my toe. The jumps are handy for bigger pieces. Pretty basic usability. There is also a built in keyboard/piano where I can figure out parts without disrupting rehearsal. It works perfectly with my HP Smart app for importing scores directly to my iPad. It has reduced my prep time for mass considerably and I can only get more efficient. Bravo!.Version: 6.14.1

Good app for sheet musicGood: - good sets of annotation tools, - easy to use, - can download free music sheets from Imspl library, - have useful bonus tools such as metronome, YouTube & iTunes link Bad: - YouTube and iTunes tools stopped working (it says no internet connection), - the only way to backup both annotations and PDF is to backup entire iPad - there is no way to turn the annotations on / off.Version: 6.4.3

BrilliantThis program/app works very well and does everything that I require of it..Version: 6.16.5

Amazing, but please add iCloud file supportLiterally the only thing is missing is iCloud sync between all devices It’s annoying as I mostly use it on my iPad, but can’t be bothered to add all my sheet music to the separate list on my iPhone.Version: 6.3.10

Really helpful toolPiascore helps me practice whenever I am. I like the easy integration with my iRig Blueboard and the experimental gesture control. I also use this in conjunction with Transcribe+, a great slow downer. The two apps are happy to share the screen on my iPad..Version: 6.4.1

Fantastic App, but not all of us can wink with our right eyeFirst off this an amazing app and I had no hesitation in paying for the upgrade. A request. I can only wink with my left eye so can only go backwards with eye gestures. An option to choose the page turn direction for each eye would be great so I can at least go forwards. Unfortunately the mouth gesture doesn’t solve the problem when I am singing..Version: 6.15.2

ExcellentI use this daily. It is very easy to import pdf music. I use it at performances and it is very reliable. The notation feature is excellent. I use the writing function and I use the # b and natural signs all the time. I highly recommend this app. I love the hands free page turner idea, but I hope it can be improved to connect to one of my foot pedals..Version: 6.15.3

Great for set lists! So easy to use on gigsThe app is easy to use, with any pdf, the writing feature is excellent to edit/write in fingerings or accidentals. Also you can change pages very easily, and the set list feature means you can order the scores before hand and title them, but if it changes last minute, you still have your back catalogue and just drag and drop to reorder. No more faffing with folders and sheets of paper!.Version: 6.4.5

Excellent free appDoes the job really well with lots of useful features - it has taken me quite a while to get the hang of it & I suspect there is more functionality I haven’t discovered yet, but it is already working well for me when I need to use a digital score.Version: 6.13.5

Replaces paper scoresI recently conducted an entire choir/orchestra program using this app on a 12.9 inch ipad pro. So simple, make pdf’s of the scores create a set list in program order, and voila, no paper to be bothered with, and also no need for a music stand light. I also use it for piano and violin practice, to save wearing out expensive paper scores. Worth every cent! But annotations, fingerings etc, are best done with an Apple pencil..Version: 6.1.23

BrilliantI find this app fantastic for managing my music. It is very easy to use and I highly recommend it..Version: 6.2.1

ExcellentVery good for reading music and turning pages while you play. Simple to use, free of charge, and the developer seems to be constantly upgrading it. What more could you want?.Version: 6.1.11

Truly Amazing! On the iPad Pro, this is truly an amazing app, especially for a busker like me. The only reason it’s not at 5 stars because I feel it’s lacking key features: for example, adding and deleting pages to a score (which is sooo important for me!), or linking audio to a score :).Version: 6.1.23

Great appGreat app.Version: 6.4.2

QuinnFor a sheet music app for the iPad I haven't found one better. Works well with an easy UI.Version: 4.0.11

Great program and easy to useI love being able to fix my bad scans by using the adjust page feature in Piascore. It’s been a few months since I wrote the preceding sentence. In the meantime I’ve tried quite a few other similar apps and Piascore is still my favourite. Organizing my sheet music is a breeze with the very easy to use set lists. When I have a pdf with multiple songs this app allows me to find the one I want very quickly..Version: 6.14.1

BrilliantThis is the best app for musicians who use digital scores. It is updated regularly and is jam packed full of features. Awesome work!.Version: 6.1.1

SimpleVery handy.Version: 6.16.0

Fresh and clean approach to sheet musicAs a long-time forScore user I came to Piascore with lots of expectations. Most have been exceeded. Except for these two: Easy- importing multiple scores at the same time doesn’t seem to be an option. A select button on the top right would allow to select a folder or many scores to be imported in a single action. One by one is a chore. I have hundreds of scores that I need to migrate from forScore. Harder- I’m currently using my iPad Pro with the magic keyboard and trackpad. The app does not take input from the trackpad. (Is there a setting? I’m missing). While we’re at it it would be great to have keyboard shortcuts. These two fixes will make this app world class..Version: 6.3.15

GreatRecently started learning piano. This app makes it so much easier to handle sheet music rather than carrying loads of books. I paid for the full version on day 1 and I probably would of been willing to pay more. Great app.Version: 6.1.24

It’s alrightYep.Version: 6.15.5

Very goodVery good application.Version: 6.16.0

Good app not quite 5 stars but best I’ve found so far. Finally found an app that will scroll pdfs! And looks like some other pretty good features. What I don’t get is the metronome in the middle of the music screen , or that there is no batch upload. I’m going to have to upload my 100 songs to the catalogue on at a time. Sigh. There is no perfect app for my needs yet but for a one time fee of 6 bucks, I’ll take it..Version: 6.16.0

Excellent!Superb tool for any musician. Like each and every app this too has its quirky ways of doing things but once you’ve sussed them your golden. Oh .... and did I mention, it’s free!.Version: 6.2.3

How come is this goodI even found some functions useful that I didn’t realize, I lost my word. Purchased directly..Version: 6.3.10

Indispensable toolI think the title of the product and the perception of what you can do with this is different than what you end up with. Or the reason you’re looking for a program like this in the first place tends to get skewed In the description. This is an all in one Swiss Army knife of sheet music. And you can search and get your hands on the notes you need to see to learn. If you’re studying scores it’s a must have. The access to composers is unsurpassed in any legit app..Version: 6.1.23

BrilliantA very user friendly app. I love the facial page turning feature😀.Version: 6.6.0

J’adore ce progamme !Répond parfaitement à mes besoins sur ma tablette. Possibilité d’ajouter, de classer et d’annoter les partitions à volonté. Changement de page en clignant des yeux ! WOW ! Terminé le gaspillage de papier..Version: 6.4.5

Awesome, love this app!Great selection of freely downloadable sheet music, fantastic features and and overall great little app!! Very highly recommended!.Version: 4.5.1

Fits like a gloveI really like this app. If you are going to use the camera import, I would suggest using the camera app, balancing the black and white, and then importing from the camera album. The only thing I’d like to see is a way to combine playlists. All the other features are great. I use it with a page turning pedal, and it is wonderful. In the Beethoven scherzo, I have to turn forward and back several times. Works great..Version: 6.1.1

A Blessing for MusiciansA dream page turning app come true for musicians. To navigate pages turns, set the speed of the page movement at a slow pace, during a rest or pause, move the page up with the finger. Fast movement speed will unsettle your eye movement or buy the pedal page turn as suggested by the app. I personally find the first way the best for me. There are other features to marvellous discover..Version: 6.1.21

Very useful app!I love this app and use it often for all of my different music, whether piano solos or orchestral trombone parts or small or large ensemble scores, and it keeps me from having to carry around large amounts of paper books with me wherever I go. I am able to keep an entire library of music with my at all times, and be able to whip it out on a whim, or perform hassle free. The only suggestion I would make would be to make the portion of the screen that you tap on to change the page larger. I will often be playing a very technical piece with no breaks for page turns, and so my hand will shoot up to the screen as fast as I can make it move but I will miss the button a lot of times because it is too small, and the page won’t turn which causes even more of a slowdown than if they were paper pages. If I could reach up and hit anywhere on the right half of the screen (or even right third) my page turns would go much smoother and I wouldn’t risk having to stop the song to try turning the page again. Overall though this app is incredible and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who will need to have music on them for any reason..Version: 6.1.21

AwesomeI have had this app for a number of years now and I love it. I have thousands of pages loaded into it, more than I will ever learn to play, and use it with a bluetooth page turner. I just recently got a 2017 iPad Pro 12.9” and I love it on the big screen. I was worried about having to re-load all my sheet music like I had to a few years ago when I updated my iPad, but everything in the app is now saved to iCloud. When I opened it in my new iPad, everything was there. Keep up the great work..Version: 6.1.23

Great app couple of tweaks would be aceReally fantastic app! Couple of tweaks would make a big difference, in particular fixing some bugs when updating info for scores. If you want to add a composer you haven’t used before, as well as making other changes, you update the composer and then lose all the other changes you made which is a bit frustrating. Small thing but apart from that it’s great!.Version: 6.2.1

Clean and easy platform to useReally enjoy how Easy it use pdfs as full music scores with annotation capability. Recommended !.Version: 6.15.3

Klaas VandersluisJust new to this, would like an online manual how to use piascore, could you send me one? Am a 75 yo newcomer to all this stuff.Version: 6.13.5

Can I give this six stars?!I've only recently discovered this, while scoring a musical. It's just been so useful for drafting, eliminating the need for printing reams and reams of paper. Annotations allow me to make notes while I'm playing. The set lists allow me to rehearse the whole score without constantly going back to the root menu. I'm using an old iPad (2nd gen?) and it hasn't fallen over once. The more I use it the more impressed I become. THANK YOU!!.Version: 6.1.23

Wonderful!I use Piascore when I play the piano in restaurants/weddings/concerts…. I have 100s 0f pieces and songs downloaded and I think it is AMAZING! So easy to use! I would totally recommend it!.Version: 6.15.5

Superb app!Don’t see any disadvantages, has everything a professional musician may need.Version: 6.4.1

This app is excellentI am pleased with this app Piascore, it’s quite good I’ve been playing guitar for a few years and reading the scores and setting it up quite easy, and I just can’t understand why people give it two stars it’s well worth the price. Scanning the music sheets quite easy good quality. Turning the page over with a squint or moving your chin it’s not too bad needs a bit more improvement but it’s a pretty good idea, developer keep up the good work..Version: 6.14.1

Love it!Easy to use..Version: 6.1.7

The bestThis app is a must have. Way better than all the paid ones out there.Version: 6.4.0

Absolutely wonderfulI’ve been using this app on my iPad Pro for about 6 months and I can’t rate it highly enough. I’m scanning and uploading my vast collection of sheet music and have been able get rid of a large filing cabinet as a result. It’s easy to read in low light conditions (I often perform in churches), easy to annotate and I’ve always got the right music with me. I genuinely can’t believe how good the free version is!.Version: 6.15.2

Genius facial gestures for turning pages.Would like to see sticking tongue out for going forward or backward (programmable user choice). And opening mouth for turning pages forward or backward (also user choice). 4 stars due to displaying a full screen with the annoying notification bar also displayed over the sheet and in the way. Why do I need to see the date & time over my sheet music? Please add more facial gestures (such as bowing head or looking downward to turn page or showing teeth, etc). It would seriously help people who have had issues with facial paralysis, etc..Version: 6.3.20

Page turning by winking?! YES!I have been waiting all my life for an app like this! It is absolutely fantastic. This does so much more than just facilitate easy page turning. The built-in metronome options, the ability to write on the score, and the link to public domain sheet music on the go make it worth every penny. I only wish I had known about this app sooner!.Version: 6.16.0

Problem with Page Turning Feature with Mask onI really like this app for its page turning feature with a wink. However, this feature would not work when the performer is wearing a mask. This is extremely problematic in this time of pandemic since most performances would take place in public areas where mask wearing is required. The inability to use the page turning feature with a wink causes a great deal of inconvenience. Hope this problem can be fixed soon. Thank you!.Version: 6.11.2

Love the app!Thank you! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.Version: 6.16.0

More than I knew I wantedEverything I wanted and more! This is a game changer especially for long pieces with many page flips, the gesture page turn is incredible. And I love that the majority of the functionality is available on the free version. Incredible and accessible!.Version: 6.7.2

Loving PiascoreReally like the set lists. Download feature is good too..Version: 6.4.2

Good AppBeen using this app for a year now, like all the features, especially with reading from a PDF Would like it if the metronome can tick in the background rather than having the metronome on the page itself Other than that I like it, I’ll keep using it for now.Version: 6.15.2

AmazingVery easy to use, flexible application.Version: 6.4.4

GreatNice lil app.Version: 6.16.5

Hits the sweet spot between functional and really easy to useReliable and really easy to use, but with plenty of features. Some might need a few more bells and whistles if doing something complex, but this is perfect for me. Marked it down a star because lately it has been draining my iPad battery in the background, when I'm not using either the iPad or Pia Score. Closing the app before putting away the iPad might fix this, but it's a new issue. I can get through a 4-hour gig with PiaScore open and the screen ON the entire time, so my issue is what happens when I'm not actively using the app or the iPad. I pick up the iPad expecting it to be fully charged and it reports that Pia used up 99% of the battery power. Still a great app, if you remember to shut it down when you are done using it!.Version: 6.3.10

A wonderful programExcellent-a real asset when working with sheet music.Version: 5.0.12

Great AppI have been using this for a while to display the words and chords to my songs. I now realise I can also add backing tracks and assign them to a particular song, very useful feature. Also, just realised I can share a set list, setup on my iPad including songs in it, to Dropbox, then import it onto my iPhone. OK, it is not a direct synch, but almost as good. Excellent..Version: 6.16.0

Great softwareThis app is quite easy to use and has many useful features for persons wanting to play scores electronically. The responses from the support team at Piascore are prompt and useful..Version: 6.14.1

MusicAfter figuring out how to go about things, I find it really easy to navigate. When I use my sheet music with staffs etc, it’s hard going back and forth with the verse chorus over 2 pages. There’s probably a trick to this, but yet to be pushed to work it out. Otherwise brilliant!.Version: 6.15.2

Easy to useAfter using sheet music for a number of years then switching to this, I noticed a significant change on how easy it was to play my music now. I definitely recommend it..Version: 6.3.5

Best sheet music appAbsolutely nothing negative to say about this app. Although there are some pieces that I can’t seem to find(Ex. Bach The Art of Fugue) there is always the option to download the sheet music from chrome and load it into Piascore. Highly recommend :).Version: 6.13.5

Well Worth EverythingI have had this app for the last 10 years and it just keeps getting better. I’m on platform most Sundays and rehearsing throughout the week is made easy by this app. Adding pdfs is effortless and being able to add your own through the photo feature is incredible. I purchased the full version to have all the bells and whistles and it is well worth it. The playlist feature is also incredible. Overall, you must use this app if you are a musician..Version: 6.16.0

Great appEasy to use, and good quality.Version: 6.3.10

Great job!Great job!.Version: 6.15.2

So worth it!You have to pay a lil to get everything but it’s so worth it. You can take pics of scores you have lying around and put them into categories, move them around, tags, add a front page, titles, search by keywords or composers… deffo recommend.Version: 6.15.8

We Need Palm RejectionI love the app.. so far it has been amazing. However, I use it on my ipad pro with an apple pencil. I noticed that when I am writing on a score using this app, when my hand touches the screen it thinks that I am writing.. so when using the apple pencil, there are a lot of lines and dots that my palm created while I was writing on the score with a pencil. It would be so helpful to have the palm rejection function here..!.Version: 6.11.2

The best I’ve seen! But one requestSo much functionality, it has everything I need from score resizing, annotating, accessing cloud drives, multiple page turning methods. I use this for piano music on my iPad 11. My only request is if there was a way to hide the home bar at the bottom to get an authentic full screen experience. Otherwise, amazing..Version: 6.15.5

Exceptional Browser but library can do with some improvementsThe browser can't be any better. Would be great though to be able to search the library and create folders. Thank you!.Version: 2.3.1

Music at my fingertipsIt’s so easy to use Piascore and to move from one piece of music to the next for any given event. Love it!.Version: 6.4.4

Needs these fixes but otherwise really good…Adding text: numbers should be same size as letters, not tiny! You often need to put numbers in a text comment. Adding lines (dotted etc): would be nice to be able to move / rotate them afterwards rather than undo and try again! It you accidentally erase all, would be great to be able to undo that! Speaking from bitter experience. Metronome: needs simplified graphic or a flashing dot etc - and metronome saved with each item in a set list so you can have a quick reminder at start of each piece. The metronome looks realistic but is not useful exactly because of that. Gestures: please get rid of “OK” after first use, as you have to switch on gestures, press OK, then tap on page to get back to normal view. So you engage gestures for hands-off page turning and ironically you them have to tap 3 times in separate places to actually get to the point where you can use it. I’ve deliberately made this particular comment verbose so you get the level of irritation I have with that one! I have the free version but thinking of going to another (paid) app as these are really irritating..Version: 6.14.1

Very good score appVery reliable, with some useful features. Recommended to anyone who wants to go ‘score digital’..Version: 6.14.1

A really great app but a few things need addingThis is a really good app for organising your sheet music. As a performer you have to respond to returns and symbols on previous pages. Unless you want to spend money on a foot operated Bluetooth page turner, this is bit of an irritation. I simply don’t have 3 hands! Perhaps a setting where you can put icon on the sheet music it would take it to the next point of the music..Version: 6.2.4

Great idea and does a lotThis is a great program and, once you learn how to use it, it could be a great option for carrying around a ton of music. But, it has steep learning curve and I found it difficult to use and edit notes on the sheet music Still a great idea. Tips in the s/w or tutorials would be helpful to master the basics and advanced features..Version: 6.16.0

ChoristerThis is the best —- since sliced bread! A wonderful app and improvements periodically. Jim. Bussau..Version: 6.15.2

Super pratiqueVoilà une application facile d’usage. Je suis dans une chorale et je peux manipuler et travailler mes partitions avec facilité. Faire des annotations. J’adore..Version: 6.16.5

Terrific - one missing featureThis app is amazing given its free. The one feature missing that I truly lament is the inability to add/insert a page to an existing score. I was rehearsing for a show and was handed an alternate score for one song. However I was unable to add or insert it into the show score. Bit disappointing. Other than that - this is excellent. The annotation functionality is very strong, quick and handy. Integration with cloud is great..Version: 6.11.2

ExcellentThanks best wishes.Version: 6.14.1

ExcellentThis is the best of a solid group from what I could find. Very feature full and more than capable in the free version. My ‘go to’ when preparing to perform, and otherwise..Version: 6.4.2

PiascoreFacile à utiliser.Version: 6.12.1

ExcellentFonctionne bien tel qu’annoncé..Version: 6.16.4

Must haveIf you play the piano (or any instrument really) and have an iPad, I honestly think you need this app. I was already very happy having all my sheet music on my tablet, but even though flipping pages was easier than with physical sheets, it was still annoying. This was just what I needed and it worked better than expected to be honest..Version: 6.4.5

So great; I recommend to everyoneI use this for voiceover work, rather than music, and it’s amazing; rustle-free page turning using iphone as remote. I’m very grateful to the creator and happy to have found the app..Version: 6.3.2

New paradigmI have stored all my paper music in boxes in the store room. Carry my iPad Pro everywhere just for music. Really very convenient.Version: 5.0.12

FabulousDead easy to use and transfer music, I am loving this app.Version: 5.0.12

My music is finally organized and mobileI love this app and have puts 100’s of songs on that I can now easily take with me anywhere I go. Simple to use and very robust to share music and download songs. This is the best thing I have used to get and stay organized with my music..Version: 6.1.14

So many nice featuresThis is my first foray into playing my violin music on a tablet. I was reluctant at first, but I keep finding more features that make this a pleasure. One unexpected benefit is that I make many more marks in my music because I know that I can easily erase temporary notes completely. I also like being able to mark the music in different colors. The “stamping” feature makes nice clean up- and down-bow marks, as well as fingerings, dynamics, etc. All the editing features are well thought-out. And I don’t have to carry around a big bag of quartet music now. Well done! Bravo!.Version: 6.13.5

My first and only sheet music appI’m late to the iPad-for-sheet music party, but I got Piascore instead of ForScore since it was freer. I love it so far. There might be some features that I’m missing out on, but as far as I can tell this has everything I need. To be constructive, I’ve had some issues accessing specific pages when I add a larger file to a setlist. Ie, I’m playing the trombone part out of a file that contains all 5 parts plus the score to a quintet tune. So one, maybe 2 pages out of 15 or 20, which as far as I can tell all have to into the setlist. I’m sure there’s a way I could manually crop the file in a third-party app, but I’d love if I could do that right here, especially if it means less outside work on my part. To be sure, the direct integration to Google Drive is remarkably helpful, but half the time I’m copying files from an email or shared drive. I’d rather not go fidgeting with those. Seriously great UI though, highly recommend this app for anyone just getting into digitization..Version: 6.16.0

FantasticMy sister was trying to get me to buy FourScore for $30 but i’m yet to find a thing it can do that Piascore can’t. Great annotation features and you can make the music move sow you con’t need to turn pages!.Version: 6.3.6

AmazingThis is an incredible app for managing and using my sheet music collection. Really flexible, easy to use, and even the advanced features are thoughtfully implemented. I can hardly believe it's free - I don't need the additional paid functionality, but I might pay anyway because quite honestly I'll probably pay for it because I think this developer totally deserves it for such a great app. Oh yes, and on an iPad Pro it's just a dream come true for any musician!.Version: 6.1.1

Download from google drive brokenDownload from google drive function broken from recent update, please fix Update: it got fixed.Version: 6.3.20

Really a Game Changer For Piano and Organ PerformanceSince I switched from paper copies to using this app, i can play music with less interruptions. I keep my focus better when the music remains at center of piano or organ. The readability and clarity of image is great even with a 10.5 " IPAD. The annotation feature works great. Winking to turn pages is amazing, but the foot pedal seems more reliable. I like the downloadable free classical music..Version: 6.16.5

Great program!Fantastic program. I use it to scroll PDFs documents like an autocue/TelePrompTer while I read. As an audiobook narrator this is invaluable. Love that you can zoom in on pages to cut out the margins so you can see documents more clearly. Bookmarking also is invaluable for me. And it handles 300 page PDFs just fine. Thank you!.Version: 6.1.23

Awesome AppAs a music teacher, school choral conductor, & church accompanist, I don’t have to deal with lugging around stacks of huge binders of music anymore. It is so convenient to have it all filed digitally into folders. I love the set lists! This app is so easy to use. At the “Apple certified”school where I teach, all of our students are on 1-1 iPads. My chorus students have this app on their iPads and use it regularly for everything from vocalize warmups to concert repertoire. It really cuts down on time and lost music..Version: 6.15.5

Great appI use it on my 13in ipad with a Donner bluetooth page turner and it works flawlessly. Markup is effective but that can also be done in files. Excellent..Version: 6.15.10

I like PiascoreI can organize my tab music from screenshots and then create set lists🎸🤟🏻.Version: 6.4.2

An absolutely brilliant app! This app has allowed me to add hundreds of pieces of classical piano music to my repertoire. The database of music files is truly massive and often has different arrangements from which to choose. The scans are generally high quality and legible, and when learning the different scores, you can easily annotate as you go. Though you can't save or export the files (that I know of....), having such easy access to so many pieces of sheet music is truly fantastic. The only quirk I've found with this app so far is that it tends to sometimes crash when using the search feature and opening files in succession. Even so, it’s still worthy of 5 stars..Version: 6.10.5

A great appI have tried other sheet music apps but Piascore is the best.Version: 6.15.10

I am a professional musician and teacherI think of all the options out there Pia is the one that has the faster and most complete score reading and taking notes etc. I have built a huge archive that is very easy to navigate. Downloading and keeping my music organized is very easy. Highly recommend to have this app, an Apple Pencil a must..Version: 6.4.4

Easy useThis app is very useful for people who wish to learn specific songs on sheet music, it has a very wide range of music featuring many genres, it is also exceedingly easy to use and has a rather responsive tech support message board..Version: 4.2.1

Great for the all around musicianI play the piano, cello, flute, and ukulele so my music shelves are FULL. This app has been great for sizing down what I have to lug around with me (especially for the cello). Probably the best feature I have used and never knew I needed was the “wink to turn pages” feature. Imagine being able to continuously play without having to lift your hand or stop playing for a second even just to turn a page? LIFE SAVER..Version: 6.4.4

So. Good.I’m a gigging musician and this app has answered all my questions that I demand of a pdf viewer for performance. Download it now, you won’t regret it!.Version: 6.3.4

ExcellentSo much is so good about this app. As a classical musician, having access to everything on IMSLP without having to print it is a bonus and all the tagging and classifying of scores works well. There just one feature I miss that is on a competitors app is variable split page turning. The split is fixed half way down the page on this app whereas it would be great to be able to have some flexibility on this to adjust it to where are rests are on the page. This will be different for each page in a particular piece so the app needs to remember settings within a piece..Version: 6.2.4

So useful!Once I realise what I could do with this app, such as adding chords/notes/lyrics/instructions, whiting out mistakes, cleaning up messy charts, I found it invaluable. The one tiny slightly annoying thing is that if I have written on the page and I am using it the annotations do not always show. So I tend to resave it as a copy ‘with writing’ and open it again..Version: 6.2.5

Worth gettingGetting to be really useful. Took time to master. Now using it with air turn PED have also paid for upgrade.Version: 6.3.4

Great appI’m a piano teacher and accompanist, and I use this app to play music all the time. I love it! And I have the paid version. I needed to be able to scan multi-page pieces into the app. But the cost is very reasonable for an app this good..Version: 6.3.6

Needs better quality piano sound.Apart from this improvement requirement, it is a very useful application for storing and testing and reading music. Hope developers improve the piano. Thx..Version: 5.0.7

Practical and versatileI love this app and use it for all my chorale scores, on which I mark up the music with my notes, but when I hand in my paper score it has stayed clean and unmarked. I use it in performance because it’s much lighter to hold out in front of yourself while standing on risers for an hour and a half than a binder full of paper and booklets. I also use it for my piano scores. I love the set lists, as I use much of the music over and over and can so easily choose the music for that days program and put it in performance order. And, as long as you have the song loaded, it’s much quicker to make last minute changes to the set list contents as well as changing the order. I would really appreciate the ability to add pages to an existing piece ( currently I have to reload all the pages again and add the new page in then). Also to be able to make notations or alterations on a page that I have copied multiple times without the changes appearing on every copy; for example, I prefer to copy the refrain of a song rather than jumping back and forth, but I’ll try to change the ending of the final refrain and it changes it on every refrain page. Great app. There’s a great potential for growth within this app as well..Version: 6.1.9

Love it!Overall it's a wonderful SMART app!! I've been using it for several years and it's only gotten better. I do not like that when I make setlists, it numbers the songs and I can't see anywhere to change it. My only gripe. I LOVE that there is the option to include what I've written on the music when uploading to iCloud. It works seamlessly with my Bluetooth page turner. It's made the transition to digital music painless..Version: 6.4.4

FantasticGreat value for money and really reliable and easy to use..Version: 6.3.10

Very nice music sheet appBeautiful and full-function even before purchasing the enhanced version, but there’s still some tiny details that could improve. There’s no “write only with Apple Pencil” option so sometimes I try to scroll after writing something, another note appears. And the app could be better if with a set of turning styles to choose from, like turning naturally..Version: 6.14.1

I love Piascore!Piascore is super handy. Not only for saving your sheet music - no more paper books to lug around, but also for saving performance set lists. And with my AirTurn 6 foot pedal hands-free page turning is easy. I have only used Piascore for my own music so I can’t comment about the online sheet music availability. It takes some time to write out the music and import it into Piascore but after that it is easy to arrange the songs and find them easily. I like the ability to be able to add performance marks and notes to the music sheets..Version: 6.16.0

Easy to use appThe app is easy to use, it has lots of useful functions: you can upload your sheet music from photo gallery, email, you can print it, email to someone, organise a playlist. There is a neat feature: scroll, your music will scroll at the speed you choose, no need to turn the page. Will recommend a friend..Version: 4.2.1

Piascore Great.Just what I wanted. Bluetooth pairs without hassle. I use with a Yueyinpu pedal, very responsive..Version: 6.15.10

No music no problemI had my keyboard in lockdown with my partner. My music was elsewhere. Good to be able to practice..Version: 6.4.4

Happy daysFrom just me,,to a whole group via Piascore.Version: 6.15.9

ExcellentJe suis très satisfait. Bien pensé et bien réalisé..Version: 6.4.4

Fabulous but…I’ve used PiaScore for years (about 5 or so) and it’s a great app. However, there are two reasons I’m considering another app. 1. I’m a cellist and I really NEED to have a stamp for thumb position. 2. I’d like to have more pens than the current amount of spaces, or at least be able to have a highlighter with a range of colours (there just aren’t enough different pen options for how I’d prefer to work)..Version: 6.16.0

It’s good but needs some updateI always struggle importing my music from old ipad to new one. I have to do one by one. I think if Piascore team update selecting mode so users can click it all at once. Also, when I send music to different device, I wish I could erase some previous note. Could you update those things sometime? I am planning getting new ipad and very frustrated about it. Otherwise it’s the best app.Version: 6.16.5

All this for free? It’s great. If there’s a concert function so you can’t accidentally go to the start of your set list or put in random markings, I haven’t found it; it would be good. I’ve had one or two scary moments and just knowing I could only turn one page would be comforting..Version: 6.16.0

Download this App, it's AMAZING!!!I downloaded this app after it was recommended to me by my father, who plays professionally. I'm the lead worship guitarist at my church and depend on my iPad now more than ever for the music. I have to say, I was very impressed at how simple it is to use! The program is very intuitive and easy the Set Lists are very easy to create. Adding the songs is just as simple and works with your camera or photo album to directly import. I will definitely see myself using this app from now on instead of my binder. Do not hesitate to download this app and use it! It's definitely the best one out there for free!.Version: 6.1.10

Love it!!I use it for piano and I absolutely love it. The only small problem is that the content is not sync’ed across devices. My scores are on iPad and I can’t read them on iPhone when I’m on the go. It’s a small thing. For $4.99, it already exceeded my expectations by far. I’ll recommend it to all my friends..Version: 6.16.0

If you sing in a choir you need thisI sing in a touring choir and the amount of music I have to find and carry around was always a pain. Now with a pdf library I just choose my set list and that’s it!.Version: 6.15.10

App reviewA very handy app which allows you to take your music everywhere, practise at any time. It has been very helpful as concert pianist..Version: 4.0.21

Amazing App for All!Piascore is a brilliant app for all pianists, as it includes tool like annotating and you can also search up millions of famous songs! Wonderful app to use!.Version: 6.16.5

Great for saving guitar pdfExcellent app. Easy to upload PDF’s , put them in different folders, and has saved me loads of printing as I now view on my iPad (it’s best viewed on a large screen so I did have to invest in a large screen).Version: 6.4.4

I like itI’m just getting back into learning piano, so I’m not a sophisticated user, and I haven’t compared this to a lot of alternatives. But I like it!.Version: 6.4.3

ExcellentThis is an excellent app that I have successfully used in several gigs. The developer appears to be constantly upgrading and updating it. Linked with my BlueRig foot switch it works flawlessly..Version: 6.1.17

Game changerThe option to wink to turn the page has made such a difference. As an organist using a pedal to turn isn’t an option. Thank you so much for this app, it has allowed me to do so much more and has really helped in performance. Just one tiny thing, the option of a post it note would be amazing then I could write quick notes for myself for the next time I played a piece..Version: 6.14.1

Pratique et completCette application vous permettra de ranger définitivement votre cahier à anneaux contenant vos partitions. Le seul petit inconvénient est qu’il n’est pas aussi facile d’annoter sa partition sur ce support..Version: 6.16.5

Great app well worth the priceIntuitive and seamless to use. Very useful to search for free music scores on line or take photos of paper copies or open PDF files into PiaScore by “sharing. Easy to organise and annotate music. Handy page turn feature integrated with Roland digital pianos. Developer very responsive with questions/suggestions..Version: 6.1.16

Best ever app for serious musiciansBest of best.Version: 6.0.0

Does the jobIt’s definitely worth getting since it’s free. I find organizing a little tedious. There are unnecessary clicks you need to make which makes editing the info more tedious than it could be. I also wish there were more options for sorting and wish there was a ‘homepage’ to view all compositions rather than a sidebar. It would also be nice to have a print option. I find this lacks from a lot of sheet music apps. That being said, the app is definitely worth getting. Notation is easy, ability to search for free scores is an added bonus..Version: 6.1.1

Brilliant. Simple and solidLove it. Can add in my own scanned scores, reorder, adjust etc. Does the job and much easier than holding lots of books and sheets when singing!.Version: 6.2.4

Very useful!Pia Score is a great app, very useful for budding musicians. Ability to transfer to and from a PC would be handy. Also rename files on the fly. George.Version: 4.3.0

Great for score readingThis is a great app for holding my many books of charts. It seems to crash frequently when I add a lot of charts at once, but so far it hasn’t crashed while on a gig. It doesn’t let you create charts in the app like some other apps do. It’s very user friendly and I love it that it changes the page orientation automatically when you put the iPad on its side. However, when you make sets, sometimes it splits the pages incorrectly when viewing two pages at once (ie, pg 1 of one piece is displayed with pg 1 of another song..Version: 6.3.7

Best App For Me!!!I use this app for the worship music at church. We have all of our music in different keys on a planning center app. I download the sheet music to Piascore and boom! I can then take the saved sheet music and save them to individual set lists for different events etc. from there you can make notes on the music with your finger or digital pen/pencil, or do just about anything you need! Also, any Bluetooth page turner will work with this app. I’ve had 3 different page turning pedals and they’ve all worked. This app has really made doing worship on Sundays a breeze! Love it!.Version: 6.14.1

Prompt fixing of a problemWhen I updated my iPad version to iOS14, I was no longer able to use my keyboard (virtual or BT) to make edits. I sent a message to the support last night. When I got up this morning, the fix was already implemented and when I “updated” my Piascore, the problem was gone. Impressive..Version: 6.4.0

Easy to useUser friendly.Version: 6.16.0

WonderfulThis is the bees knees. So many options and user friendly ideas..Version: 6.2.2

Works on older iOS!I hate to start with this kind of title, but the fact that this program works with older iPads is awesome! I looked at other programs but none of them seem to work with older iPads and this one just dead so I just bought it straight out. It does everything I need it for it to do. I need to scan with a different program or with my phone. It's just a minor inconvenience compared to what the program drinks. I use an air turn pedal for page turning. All around just awesome program..Version: 6.3.14

It’s great!I’m finding it so useful, thank you! A simple feature I’d really like is for a couple of extra shapes for us non sheet music guitarists - a 4 and 6 line ‘stave' for tab, and maybe a little chord box. Then it really would be the music software of my dreams 😀.Version: 6.15.5

Excellent for a free appIt has everything that is needed for a basic sheet music app plus some more even in the free version.Version: 6.16.5

IndispensableUse it every day, thank you team for putting this together!.Version: 6.16.4

Brilliant appI have been using this app for about a year. It does everything I want it to do. As soon as I purchase sheet music I scan it using Turboscan (another brilliant app) and put it into Piascore. I use this app on my iPad Pro with an Apple pencil and bluetooth page turner. I use it for practice, rehearsals, concerts. All of my music is always with me. The pencil works really well for hand written notes or the addition of symbols from the extensive parts box. I scan using Turboscan on my iPhone because it’s easier to hold for this purpose, send the scan to iCloud, drag from iCloud into Piascore on my iPad, rename as necessary. I then have access to it whenever I need it. I have a whole shelf of a bookcase of sheet music in Piascore. If the sheet music is provided to me electronically—by my band’s musical director or digital copies are purchased it’s even easier. It works really well with a foot operated page turner or you can just tap on your iPad to turn the page. It will recognise a wink to turn the page but while this is a clever and amusing feature I have found the exaggerated wink required makes this particular feature a novelty rather than of any practical use. This app along with my iPad Pro and Turboscan has revolutionised the way I deal with my sheet music. Brilliant. Highly recommended..Version: 6.15.9

Life saver for my music career!I have been using Piascore for about 1 year. Page turning become the thing of the past. Finding the free classical music score is much easier than ever before. All thanks to you!! Thank you, thank you!.Version: 6.15.4

Excellent bit of kitBrilliant piece of software. Allows you to zoom in and crop PDFs for all pages or individually, cloud accessibility, IMSLP access, easy page turning, metronome function and so much more. Even though it’s free, the £3.99 to get extra functions (different metronome tones and tuning metre) is well worth the price of the base features given in the free version of the app..Version: 6.2.5

MegStill has a problem in set list mode where it cuts off the bottom of the page in multi page pieces..Version: 6.8.3

No need for Henle appThis app is great. You can find many great editions for almost all classical piano music..Version: 6.4.3

Very professional.Very well designed. I’m a musician and I love using it..Version: 6.1.5

Excellent AppExcellent app once you get used to it. It would have got 5 stars if what was added on the iPad was automatically added to iPhone app..Version: 4.0.18

YEAH!!!Just got home from a gig using an iPad instead of fumbling with paper charts. I took along the thick folder as standby because I'm usually anxious about changing up the familiar routine. So long charts, this app is the best. The backlit iPad is so much easier to read on dark stages with lights darting all over the place. Saving in the set list order made things easier and gave me back a heap of time not having to locate and replace charts into plastic sleeves. Exceeded my expectations and simple, intuitive and effortless to use. I am an advocate and have a new essential app in my live setup..Version: 4.10.1

The perfect hands-free scrolling app! No more page turns!Best app for hands free scrolling. I was using the Musicnotes app since I buy a lot of sheet music for their website. However, I found manual touching of the screen to be awkward. Even the use of a Bluetooth pedal wasn't natural for me. This app allows the music to vertically scroll, so there's no page turning at all! Hallelujah! If the screen moves too fast or too slow, you can easily move the screen up or down with your finger to get you back on track. Over time, you begin to know if a song is too slow and the scrolling has to be set at a slower speed. I selected some free classical songs. I also loaded some of my favorite sheet music into my Dropbox account, and it easily transferred to this app. I made setlists which continue to scroll, song after song. Love it! No complaints at all!.Version: 6.1.1

Very handy and usefulCould do with more bug-fixing and extended features such as multiple concurrent cloud-service access, home file folder arrangement and backups/bulk annotated PDF exports. It will nonetheless be very useful for many people for rehearsals and performances..Version: 6.4.5

Brilliant app just missing a few things.Even the free version is full featured. Easy to use and about all I wish it had was a slightly better option for half page turning. Now I have upgraded it is even better. Missing these features: - Ability to seperate libraries eg. one for each band I play in. - more intuitive tagging - ability to add a divider eg interval.Version: 6.16.0

Nice appI have close to 500 scores scanned in and this makes gigging a dream as I no longer have to haul books and scores around. I run it on an ipad 1 and i find that you need to close out other programs before you run this to preserve memory. It intermittently does crash, but a simple restart is al that is required to resume your next tune. Runs great on ipad air..Version: 4.1.4

Perfect music reader!I needed a pdf music reading I pad app, to replace my huge and heavy folders of choral music for concerts. and found this one to check all my boxes! Super easy to open pdfs, mark notate music, Organise playlists, bookmark pages, and even make cuts to different pages/measures. AND it was free! Yes there are upgrades, and costs to purchase sheet music, as expected, but WOW! THANKS FOR BEING JUST WHAT I NEEDED!.Version: 6.16.0

Piascore Great App!Does everything it promises and more! Have been using this app for years and I highly recommend it!.Version: 6.6.0

Works wellThe app works well for existing pdf music and for general use once I got over some technical issues. I won’t use it all the time for performance, but it is really useful for rehearsal and also for accessing my own sheet music stored in different cloud locations..Version: 6.15.10

Love this app!I honestly haven’t found a better music reading/mark-up app! It’s fast and clean, and the markup tools (in my case, using Apple Pencil) work perfectly. It works flawlessly with any pedal I’ve tried, and even the experimental facial-expression page turning facility works well! I love the page transitions (others—like Henle Library which I also love—don’t allow for this), which can be a real problem when you’re not 100% certain whether a page turn has actually occurred or not. The library is easy to categorize, especially if you have a lot of files (for many different instruments) like I do. And importing is a breeze. Though the free version is surprisingly feature-rich I opted for the paid version (for better mark-up, metronome and other tools), and so very glad I did!.Version: 6.15.5

Simple to use and effectiveHave been using this for classical bass for some months now. There are whole symphonies loaded onto my iPad now, with not a sheet of paper in sight. And poor illumination is a thing of the past. Works fine with a page turning pedal. Very happy. 🤗.Version: 6.15.8

So goodThis app is so useful, there is a version that you have to pay for, but the free trials allow everyone to have a try of the 'premium version', what's also helpful is that you can add your own music to it through pictures. 👍👍👍👍👍.Version: 5.0.12

Amazing app for reading, editing PDF lead sheetsI tried a variety of apps before finding this one. It is perfect for reading, editing PDF lead sheets. Simple to use. It works perfectly during performance. Able to edit the lead sheets with my apple pen on my iPad Pro quickly and easily. Love everything about it!.Version: 6.15.10

Works wellExcellent way to read music on the iPad. Tuner and metronome are good but I wish there was a way for the tuner to take up less room on screen so it doesn’t block so much of the page..Version: 6.4.3

New owner/ userI’m relatively new to this program and to playing the fiddle. I had a bit of a time figuring it out at first but the more I use it the more I appreciate it. I’m no spring chicken which was probably some of my slow start. I especially like that I can write in embellishments and set the metronome for the different pieces and have it there with the same setting whenever I return. I also no longer need to haul a stack of music books. Thanks so much. I think it’s great!.Version: 6.4.0

MrExcellent... I have most books, all exercises and repertoire for practice and performances... that I need in one place. By far, my best App!.Version: 4.0.31

J-DUBBrilliant little program, easy and clean..Version: 6.10.4

Great app, well thought out.A really good quality app that has some fantastic features. Could me made to a 5 star review with the implementation of a feature that playbacks your scores to you within the app..Version: 6.1.1

ImpressiveI've been using this for some time and have been impressed with the way it works. It's a little bit pedantic here and there but in view of its complexity that is only to be expected. I would like to be able to add pages to an already created file but haven't found a way yet..Version: 6.12.1

I use this every dayExcellent app. Easy to use and does everything that I need. I use the air turn for page changing and this is seamless. When the occasional glitch arises, the developer responds very quickly. I’d recommend this app to any musician..Version: 6.16.4

Awesome appI use this app for all my scores and lead sheets. Very reliable and it's free !!!.Version: 6.1.16

Great for Chamber musicIt is good to find a music app that caters so beautifully for musos who know there was life before iTunes and Apple music! All you need for classical music, including facility for writing in fingering etc., saving it, and altering it at a later date. Metronome, reference tone and excellent chromatic tuner, all sorts. And I’m well into my three-score-years-and-ten and it’s so easy to use. Don’t hesitate, it’s brilliant..Version: 6.1.18

Broken, then fixed (after 1* review)Originally said: "Was good, then I updated. Big mistake, now it won't start. Reported bug, being ignored." Finally got a response after 2 weeks saying fix "in next release", whenever that might be. Was actually 4 days, which was good, though 4 days to respond and two weeks to fix would've felt better TBH... So 1 star off for not testing and slow response, but otherwise a great app. Just need to work out what the purchases do, the descriptions are ... cryptic..Version: 6.3.13

How to add a page of sheet musicI love this app already but disappointed that there doesn’t seem to be a way to add a page of sheet music if you forgot?.Version: 6.3.15

Awesome tool for studentsI wish we had this when I was a student. So useful and great annotation tools..Version: 6.1.23

Extraordinarily useful!Very useful, both as a music teacher AND professional musician. Easy to navigate interface, a few surprise features I didn't think I'd use but have, and just an excellent tool. I'd give it SIX stars if I could.......Version: 6.16.0
