✓ Good, but crashes.I’ve had this app for a long time. Since it was called “Tip Bucket.” Tip Mule is much more useful and dependable than Tip Bucket ever was, but lately it keeps crashing. It usually crashes about 2 or 3 times upon first opening it, and after that I can use it. Please, please, please fix this bug! It is a great app otherwise, and I highly recommend it..Version: 2.1.0
✓ Horrible changesTip Bucket was way more complete. I "got my data back" from the last two years but it doesn't show my "take home" it's grayed out so it can't be changed but shows correct earnings far tips making me have to re-enter every single day. It used to have a spot for sales so I knew my tip percentage this does not. It also used to have a place for total tips and my tip out when working with others. Was much more complete than this garbage. Good thing I have a couple screen shots from months ago from my old tip bucket. Not happy at all!!!!!.Version: 2.0.1
✓ Used to be good.When it was called Tip Bucket the app was great. Ever since it switched over to Tip Mule it’s been awful. The other night the app crashed and now I can’t open it. Just lost seven years of financial records..Version: 2.1.0
✓ Worked great, until it stopped workingI loved the app, but the other day when I went to add a shift, I was kicked out and lost all of my information. There’s no way to get any of it back since I thought it was safe keeping it in this app. I’m not sure what happened but now it’s no longer recognizing my e mail and I feel like I have to start again, all while losing about a years worth of information. ✓ Doesn't Correct for Tip-OutsNice user interface and graphics; I especially like that it has the ability to set up custom pay periods. Unfortunately, everything is calculated off of your total tips rather than your remaining tips after tip out. This makes sense for the the tips as percent of sales, but gives you an inflated total tip amount earned per period and tips earned per hour value. I'd personally like to see these two metrics calculated based on retained tips, or at least shown in addition to the current calculations..Version: 1.6.6
✓ NiceGood app, will do what I need. One of the better basic hour/tip tracking apps I've found. Only thing I would say is there should a break input spot so that break times can be removed from the total hours calculation as I don't get paid for my breaks but am required to take one. Also, can seem to get the menu up after editing a job in the my jobs screen..Version: 1.6.4

✓ Total Fail!!Not only did the update wipe out ALL of my previous information WITHOUT ANY WARNING that I should back it up but it also crashed as soon as I tried to use it for the first time. This update is complete garbage and so is the layout of the new app! I can't believe I lost all of my earnings information for the whole year! This used to be an app that I relied on and would recommend to all of my fellow tipped employees at a very prestigious casino...not anymore. I will be spreading the word to switch to a new method or app since this one cannot be trusted with our valuable financial information. You've got to be kidding 🙄.Version: 2.0.4

✓ CrashesIt was better as “tip bucket”. Every time I go to add a new tip for the day, the app closes atleast the first two tries. I have info on their from awhile ago so I hate to have to switch apps, but I might just stop using it all together. Disappointing..Version: 2.1.0
✓ More updatesThe app in the beginning worked great, until I found some issues that could be fixed easily and make the app even better, I tried to contact the developer 3 times and I never got a single answer back, it had been over a year since "tip bucket" was last updated in January, 2014. I just decided to write this review because I've been using the app for the last six months everyday and I could live with all those small problems until last week when a new one came up, in the app we're able to see how much in tips we made per week, month and year, now when I choose the month it shows all days of the year, so I have to take my calculator and add up all the numbers to see how much I made in that particular month, and that was the thing I liked about the app, I guess I'll have to find a new app or make my own excel plan for now on.Version: 1.6.6

✓ Not much better than tipseeFeatures don't actually work. If you use the sales and tipout features it messes up your take home pay. Tipout isn't deducted from total tips so it looks like you made more than you did. If you put sales on with take home pay it makes it seem like your tip average was 12%. Only difference from tipsee is that you can add multiple jobs. BUT there is no calendar view or view by day, so it's difficult to figure out your averages for days of the week which is one of the best features of tipsee. Not exactly worth it. Also, feedback option doesn't work... Interesting..Version: 1.6.8

✓ ServerNot as versatile as needs to be. Cash I take home, credit cards tips I get on a weekly check, of which the purpose of having this app to verify that the check amt is accurate. I need two separate entry options and the ability to see totals by these entries. Having to go through each shift and subtract out cash that I had to put in the notes section defeats the purpose a bit. How many restaurants in the world are on the only pay period they have listed? Lots, but not mine, there doesn't seem to be a way to customize. Not super impressed. Glad I only paid a dollar..Version: 1.6.4
✓ Miss my tipbucketI've been using tipbucket for years with very few problems. All of the sudden with zero notice from tipbucket I now have tip mule with a new icon and ALL of my tips from tipbucket are lost! Seriously? And half way through the calendar year! To say I'm annoyed is an understatement. As a bartender full time I like to know what I'm making yearly and this was the most accurate and easy way to do so and now all of that is lost for this year! Frustrated that the time I've spent keep track is now wasted, and so far tip mule has let me log one day of work and every other time the application has closed out or not loaded. To bad, looks like I will be looking for a new application to log my tips..Version: 2.0.1
✓ 6 years of use and now this....So disappointed with this update. Now it seems that it's just the log sheet, nothing more. It is the simple display of all the information you've given it. It doesn't do any math for you it is simply a log it and it spits out a graph or chart. My favorite feature, the 'Hourly Wage' is not even available to see, let alone on the welcome screen. * EDIT: After sending a feedback email immediately prior to this rating, within a few minutes after posting this I received a response giving brief highlights as to why changes had to be made, and hopes for the future of the app. With a prompt response and in such detail, it leaves hope that it will be restored to at least what it was, if not better. *.Version: 2.0.2
✓ It gets the job done, not practically though.This app works great if you have one job, but since I have two tipped jobs, I can't view my second job as easily as the first. And the info for my second job isn't as complete as the job that has preference in the app. I'm not sure why one job has viewing and informational preference over another ( even though the un- preferenced job is my 'default job') I've tried to make my default screen show both jobs but to no avail. But I am able to store all the info I need, it's just confusing why there is an option to track different income but only one job has preference....maybe because For the first two years I started using the app I only tracked one source of income? ✓ Hourly Average gone and moreWell now - my complaints have nothing to do with missing data - although had I known you were doing this update I would have been apprehensive, but I am more annoyed by the lack of data read outs and all the graphical representations when I simply want readable numbers. My hourly averages are gone, my weekly numbers are convoluted and hard to read, my breakdown of $ earned by hourly and $ earned by tips is gone. I work a job where my income is 60 percent tips 40 percent hourly and now that data split is no where to be seen, my hourly rate is gone, and more... What botched update. I downloaded 10 different tip apps after TIPSEE updated and TipBucket took some getting used to but was the best of the bunch... now it's awful. Back to TIPSEE I guess..Version: 2.0.1

✓ So frustratingI bought this app nearly four years ago and recommended it to so many people...cuz I loved it! Then they updated it without notice and it totally changed all my information entered!! I'm a server and as such need to track my take home tips and also how much I tip out to support staff. In the original app I would enter my take home amount and the amount of money tipped out. When the app was updated it automatically deducted the tip out amount from the amount I entered as my take home and went back to the beginning of my entering. Changed all my earning numbers!! So frustrating!! So I adapted how I put the info in. I enter my amount before tipping out then my tip out amount and it would give me my take home amount! I even went back several months and adjusted all my numbers. Then I go to enter my tips from last night and It appears as though they've changed it back to the old way and now I'm so messed up in my tracking!! So so frustrated with this! I've depended on this to keep track of my income information for years and now even my previous 3 years are all inaccurate!.Version: 2.0.5

✓ App keeps crashingI NEED ALLLLLLL MY INFORMATION for the over SIX YEARS I’ve used this app emailed to me ASAP, it crashes constantly now, I can’t log back into the app after it logged me out randomly... there’s no backup I can get to anywhere!!!? ✓ More complicated?I really enjoyed tip bucket; it was fast and easy to enter data. Now the new app is slow and I miss the automatic display of the tip/hour ratio. Seems like the new interface is really complicated for no reason..Version: 2.0.2
