✓ Constructive Criticism - More AlarmsI personally love this app because it really helped me start out grilling. I’ve used many of the recommendations in the app and my food turned out great. I love the layout the recipes, and everything except one thing. The custom recipes/alarm timing. Currently, in the custom area, you can only set a time and it defaults to flip when halfway done. It would be much more useful if you could set multiple alarms in one recipe. Such as something that has to be cooked on all sides and needs to be flipped at a 1/4 done, 2/4 done, and 3/4 done through the set time instead of just flipping it halfway. This also goes for some of the preset recipes. Ex. The hot dog recipe says to leave it on the grill for 8 minutes, and then rolling the hot dog every 2 minutes. When you use the timer the only time the alarm goes off is once the 8 minutes is up. If the alarm went off every two minutes then that would prevent me from having to constantly check my phone (with my meat-juicy hands) to see when two minutes hit. This is a small fix but this would help sooooo much. Thanks.Version: 2.4.10

I can just throw my meat or vegetables on the grill, enjoy a nice cup of starbucks from a local cafe, and the app alerts me when I need to flip or take it off of the grill. ✓ SuperbI've used this for more than a year and I use it at least twice weekly. The timing recommendations for steak, chicken, pork tenderloin, sausages have been accurate and the food has been well cooked consistently. My grill is a CharBroil Tru-Infrared which hits temps of 500F easily so the meats are so moist, so well carmelized and in the time the app suggests. Easy to use Recommend.Version: 2.4.5

This App will at least guide you in on all wheels. Just do your homework up front...thickness of steak, amount of heat on grill. ✓ Mmm, mmm, mmm. Smell the BBQ?It's barbecue season again in Canada ! This multi-timer app is definitely worth the price. Timers are preset based on the type of food to be cooked ( ), how well it is to be cooked as well as a suggested temperature. Once you start a timer the unique alert sound tells you when to flip the food as well as when it should be done. Multiple timers can be run independent of when the previous timer is started. ✓ Clever and useful cooking timerWell laid out, stylish and functions well. Some of the cooking times are very simple and not specific enough to mean much - sausages for example. However, as a flip or repeating timer this is just what most cooks need. In addition to the well thought out timing system, having a brief cooking guide for each food item comes in handy when my brain draws a blank. The watch app is one of the first, third party apps that actually makes sense to have on your wrist. This type of software is the reason we started carrying smartphones in the first place. I use butane gas grill that is easy to maintain specific heat so works great for me. It would definitely be harder to try to use on a charcoal or smoker grill. ✓ Happy with the outcomeOverall the timer worked well and by blindly following the suggestion, my steaks came out the way my wife and I like them. The UI could use a little work as its not super intuitive and there aren't any instructions. I also wish the timers could be renamed. "Steak" and "steak #2" isn't too meaningful. Is rather be able to rename them "his" and "hers" or whatever. I grilled a couple of steaks last night. My wife likes hers well done and I'm a medium kind of guy. After warming up the BBQ and seasoning the steaks, I plopped the meat on the grill and turned on the timer. I also turned on the microwave timer just in case... When I made the flip, the steaks looked like they were on the right track. And when they came off the grill, my steak was medium and my wife's was well done. Of course hot spots and grill temp needs to be accounted for. But this app takes guesswork out of the timing. Glad I bought it..Version: 2.4.2

✓ Just grilled my best steak ever!Downloaded the app about a week ago and used it a few times without any issues. Plus I grilled my best steak ever. Usually I over-grill my steaks but not today! On a side note, I did see the reviews about timers disappearing and not working correctly. Since I am sick and tired of buying apps which are full of bugs, I had reached out to the developer prior to buying the app and he assured me the issues mentioned in the past have been taken care of. ✓ Awesome App!Perfect but only one complaint! While cooking a brat it tells me in instructions to flip every five minutes but there is no alarm or reminder. Also almost all of meats are saying to cook at 350 but most of the time med hi is 450 to 500 so I'm confused as to where you get your cooking temps from. Well done none the less..Version: 2.0

✓ REVISED REVIEW -- IT'S PRETTY USEFULI never revised an App review before but after giving this one just two stars for just being a fancy version of the already existing timer, I need to correct my error. I don't think it's perfect. The cooking times are, at best, a good approximation so you really do need to keep an eye and, ideally, use in conjunction with the digital thermometer. And it creates a very bad misimpression that you can grill things by basically putting them on teh grill, turning halfway through and then removing. Among other issues, grills have hotter and cooler spots so every pro knows you should be flipping and moving most items around regularly during the cooking process. That said, the timers ARE a pretty good approximation. They cover pretty much everything I've ever thought of grilling and then some. And it really comes in handy when you are grilling several different items on the same grill. Over the weekend grilled three different fish, sausage, pineapple, asparagus and corn all at once. The multiple timers allowed everything to finish with 60 seconds of each other. I've come around..Version: 2.4.2
