✓ THE ADS!!!!I love this game. I always love to play the daily challenges and see how well I did. But getting smoola (the game currency) was like finding a diamond by accident. It’s like you have To pay or watch ads to get them and most songs cost 25-50 each!! I often annoy my friends by sending them a link to get ‘30 free smoola’ but it didn’t even work. So then I go to the free songs which aren’t even free. You have to watch an endless amount of adverts (When you start and end and what annoys me more - even though it has nothing to do with the game - is that stupid adventure capitalist ad comes on.) Last week I had a stress panic after the amount of ads that were playing. But I was reading the other reviews on this and apparently the prices have gone up!!(which I must say they are very pricey) Please fix this game with the adverts. Otherwise it’s very fun to play!.Version: 8.3.3

✓ Isn’t worth it if you don’t pay VIPI’ve used this app since 2012 and it’s definitely changed over the years. Before there were no adds and it was easier to gain Smoola. Now it’s really not worth playing if you aren’t going to pay for it, there is an INSANE amount of adds, and saving up money takes a while so it’s hard to get songs, at least the ones that aren’t VIP only anyways. I pay for the app and honestly it’s not that horrible in price if you’re going to actually spend time with it. There’s no adds and you can basically play whatever you want. I like that you can add whatever songs or search for literally anything from others who have added songs. For some reason or another (probably the lack of the plague of adds) the VIP version runs super smoothly in comparison and I haven’t experienced any glitching, which honestly surprises me. Basically, if you don’t want to pay for it save yourself the frustration. If you do, it’s a great app..Version: 8.4.1
✓ LoveThis is a great app as I live and breathe music. However if you are not wanting to spend loads of money on something then look the other way because for you to be able to get more songs you need to spend money. I would like it if they would make it cheaper or all songs free from one music lover to another. I know these things take time to create but the smule apps context costs way to much for what it is. Also for the people who are having issues with the game freezing during the 4 finger chords go into your settings in your iPad/iPhone and change the multi touch command. ✓ Something You Must UnderstandEverybody is going on about the adds. This game has much less adds than others. They need some way to make money! You must remember that this game doesn’t force you to buy a VIP or something. You don’t have a limited amount of hearts every day so adds is their way of making money without forcing anyone to buy stuff. It’s only after you play a song. The songs actually last a fair amount of time, so you can’t say the add appear often. Please me more thoughtful. The app itself is perfect. Just because they use a few adds, doesn’t mean that the overall gameplay is 2/5.Version: 8.4.3
✓ Magic piano ideasI think that overall this game was fun and addictive, and most of your favourite playable songs can be played. However I found it somewhat disappointed that the sharing of your music could only be via Facebook, twitter and email, hence was the only way to share it to the world. I think that for their next update they should just have button that says 'share to the world' or similar. ✓ AMAZING!!!!!! But..This is one of the most addicting games I’ve ever played. It’s really fun, AND you learn how to play piano in composer. This is four stars because...ADS! There a way too many ads. I get one every time I start a song, and every time I end a song. It’s kind of annoying. And could you make some of the songs less expensive? Like 10 coins instead of 25-75 coins? One more thing, sometimes when I watch ads to get more Smoola, it only lets me do it once. ✓ Fun, but buggyPretty fun but I’ve picked up on some bugs. When composing, even though I’m only tapping one note, it keeps adding other ones. Very frustrating. Also very laggy. The devs probably won’t change this and I understand why but it really bothers me how difficult it is to get smoola. Either way they’re getting paid - through ads or through purchase of in game currency, but it’d be nice if it were easier to get them because the whole point of the game is to play songs.Version: 8.5.5
✓ Get ready to dance!Magic Piano is a great game, and really addicting. It’s so much fun, and a bit challenging. There are a variety of pieces, so you can find a lot of your favourite songs in there! The only downside is that the game has too many ads. Most of my time playing the game was watching ads, ads and more ads! It sort of ruins the experience. ✓ Love it! One small issue thoughWell, technically two, but they fit together as one. In your game, most of the songs you either have to pay with a subscription for a month, a week, or a year, but you could also pay a certain amount of in-game currency to collect these songs. One system that fails is that it is hard to get coins in the game, with the only ways to achieve them are levelling up or achievements. There is also the composer feature as well, but has a very poor playgerism scan, for example one could open a song in the composer feature, change one note, then change it back to its original note, and publish the song for free. This is a failed system of non playgerizing. Love the game otherwise..Version: 8.6.1
✓ Needs to be improved...This is a very addictive game but I believe it needs improving. You should be able to share songs and performances with friends from your contact list not just Facebook friends. Since I am only 11 I am not allowed a Facebook account therefore I cannot go past Level 9 because you need to share with a friend before you can go to Level 10. ✓ I love it but I hate itI literally love this game and I have been playing it for such a long time. It’s a brilliant app however what annoys me is that every time I finish a song it goes on to an ad and I have to wait a 50 million years for it to finish and it puts off my mood afterwards and I don’t feel like playing anymore and every time I go on to another level I only get 1 smule even though it’s worth way more! When you go to play a song, there's an ad and when you go to leave that same song, there's another ad. This happens every single time. ✓ Timing....too slow...???!I love this app, but the one thing I can't stand is when it tells me I'm being too slow.. but I'm trying to play the song the way it sounds.. And it always seems to want to rush me. I'd rather be able to play the song the way it feels in the way it sounds rather than having the app tell me I'm playing too slow. Messing up is one thing, but having a longer pause at the end of that set because you're playing it with feeling is another. I think that should be fixed. Make room for a real or with feeling pause. Also.. I LOVE the community section. However, I think people just messing around makes it hard to find the people who have actually created an amazing piece. That's frustrating. If you want the quality of the app, you pay for it. Have a passion for piano music, you pay for it. People who love it will pay for it. ✓ Good but some problemsI love this game! I think it’s very creative the way they made you play the piano. I have never seen a game like this before it’s so unique! But there is always a but sooooo story time! So I was trying to get some more money ( I forgot the name of the money in the game) so I watched an add to get some money and I looked at where my money was and it stayed the same! But I thought it was a little glitch so I tried again and the same thing happened! I rebooted my iPad several times but it still never gave me more money. I got very frustrated with this problem. Please work on it. (or is it my iPad...) ok next problem ( I know too many problems and and it’s getting annoying but just stay with me PLEASE!) ok so the next thing that happened was I finally got enough money to get a new song. ✓ The glitch😤Overall I think this app is fun and I like that there’s a ton of songs to choose from. But I’m writing this review because of one problem in particular I’m having. When I play on the hard level, (using up to four fingers) often for some unknown reason it will keep pausing even though I do NOT hit the pause button. This happens a lot now (sometimes ten times a song...no exaggeration!) Also it’s started to glitch out right into other apps when I’m right in the middle of a song. It’s getting very annoying. Please fix this! (A month later) Something just popped up on my screen on how to make it stop pausing right in the middle so many times of every song. I did it and it worked. Thanks! I’ll bump it up to four stars now. I’d have a better chance of giving it five stars if there weren’t soooo many ads (An ad after every song you play and sometimes you’re required to watch an ad before you can even begin playing a song) and if the songs didn’t cost so much..Version: 8.3.3

But I, and many many others, are considering to stop playing because of the stupid amount of ads. I understand that smule most likely promotes ads due to being supported by them but... it's driving me nuts. Sorry but there are TOO MANY. You don't have to get rid of them all together, but you DO need to reduce them. I suggest using picture ads instead of video ads. They would be easier to handle. Also, as many have mentioned. It is very difficult to earn coins for more songs. Gaining XP is so very hard to do! So I was just finishing up medium level on Colors by Halsey, and then I decided to try hard, so all was well the first few seconds, UNTIL... this popped up, “Why is magic piano paused?? Go to settings and turn off multitasking so your screen doesn’t slide off to another app! “ And so I went to setting and went to general, Like is showed in the picture, and I couldn’t find it! It wasn’t there! So I went back to magic piano to see the picture, and it was the exact thing I did! I couldn’t find “ MULTITASKING” So I just went back to the song, thinking it was just a one - time thing, and the NEXT TIME I press 4 finger it pops up again! It was so annoying! So I ignored it. And then a few peachy notes later it pops up again! Ughh it was so annoying! And so I finishing the song, and because of the pop up thing, I only got 2 stars!! However, like always, there is one downside. Before, Smule has ads of course, but it was an acceptable number. I know the company has to make money, but come on! ✓ Good different!I really love the game and I’d like to point out a difference from other games with the coins. Unlike Many other games, it makes coins rarer, and prices cheaper. I mean, when you level up, why give them 50 coins to save up for that 2500 coin song when you can give them one or two to save up for a 25 coin song. It makes it so much easier to understand! ✓ Best Piano Game!This game is super fun and I have been showing it to my class every week! Though…the ‘report’ button is right next to ‘back to songbook’. I keep pressing ‘report’ accidentally instead which makes me feel bad to the creator. But, there are a few cons for this game that should be fixed. 1) It’s so hard to get smoolas. Every song is at least 25 or 75 smoolas. Every time you level up, you always get one. 2) I love to compose song, but the problem is that once it is composed and published, you can’t play it anymore. You would need to spend 25 smoolas if you would want to. For your OWN SONG. 3) You can always listen to the song before playing it, but the problem is that you can’t listen to the whole song. So thanks to that, I spend 25 smoola on a song that WASN’T EVEN FINISHED! Besides all of this, it is fun 4) As a pianist, I actually enjoy this app, but what I don’t like is that every note is a quarter note. That is why some song don’t sound correct. Most song have half notes, eighth notes, whole notes, dotted half notes, and so on. So can you PLEASE fix that. 5) it’s hard to keep your songs. There was this song that was given to me as a gift when I first joined Magic Piano, and now it wants me to pay for its access. I should have kept it, but nooo, now they took it away from me. ✓ Nice, but there’s a few complaints I have to stateOverall this is a really enjoyable, fun game to play, and it’s highly addictive in my opinion but a few minutes ago an ad popped up after I’d finished playing my song on the piano and it had a curse word on the ad! I don’t feel it is appropriate to be allowing swear words or inappropriate content into a children’s game and it would be appreciated it this could be put into consideration! My second complaint is that there is way to many ads!! If there was fewer adds I think this app would get more good reviews and downloads!! 😊, the last thing I would like to address is that this app is meant for children if I’m not mistaken and there are songs published with swear words in the title.. kids will see this and think it’s ok, because they saw it on “magic piano” content moderators should be viewing songs published at all times and shouldn’t be allowing this onto a kids platform. ✓ Really?This used to be a great app. But now all sorts of problems have surfaced. The first one is a terrible glitch that ruins the whole game. I am currently trying to earn achievements to earn smoola. The one I’m doing right now is play ten songs perfectly. I keep trying to play songs, but as I am tapping the screen, say on the right side, it will say I’m also tapping on the left and will say that I’m tapping with too many fingers! This makes it impossible to complete the achievement. The second one is how hard it is to earn smoola. To earn them you either have to level up, or earn an achievement. It is extremely hard to level up and as I said before that glitch makes it very hard to earn achievements. The reason it is hard to level up is that it barely gives you any xp after you finish a song. You need about 10,000 xp to level up where I’m at. But when you finish a song that lasts longer than three minutes it only gives you 300 xp..Version: 8.4.3

Apart from the fact of the Smule coins :/ It is very hard to gain the coins and takes a very long time therefore you can’t unlock new songs, I suggest you give a player at least 10 coins or 5 per day, then you have more chance of unlocking a new song or your favourite! I have read many reviews and they all seem pretty positive! Oh and another thing is that in the choice of your first song you should add a search icon so that you can search for the song you desire! ✓ Loveable, life-long game! HERES SOME RECOMMENDATIONSI’ve played this game since I was 11 years old and i’m almost 18 now. Let me just say, this app has improved insanely since the beginning and I’m super proud of the developers for opening the Composer ability. This has opened so many possibilities when it comes to music, I myself have purchased the pass to have full access to the library. It is a little pricey at $7.99 a week, but if your very deep into it then it shouldn’t be too much of a deal. I feel that long term users should get a discount if that was possible. Anyways, if the developers are still checking reviews and trying to improve their app, I feel like a perfect idea for improvement would be the ability to ORGANIZE your songs. Maybe you have a lot of classical songs and you would like them to be in a group. This is a KEY feature that would make navigating the app much more useful. Secondly, I would also recommend a feature that allows you to delete songs you didn’t enjoy playing, off of your songbook. Everyone has played a song they didn’t quite enjoy, but it stays on your songbook as long as you’ve played it. These two features would make the $7.99 a week pass much more worth it in my opinion. But sadly I do have a couple of problems with the system:( Whenever I go to do an offer or watch a video for free smoola it does one of these: 1. No more offers available today(when I had not even completed and offer or watched a video) Or 2. ✓ GAME DEVELOPER PLEASE READ!!!!! 😩 🙏I love 💖 this game it is so addictive and fun and I would of rated it a 5 but there is one ☝️ insy problem I would like you to try and fix. PLEASE!!! I am not a vip and I am not allowed Facebook so the only way I can get smooles (is that what there called?) is to watch videos. Now this is a good way but it only works for me 40% of the time! 😢😭 What happens is I press on the “watch video to get 5 smooles” button and watch the video, if it works it says “you got 5 smooles} but if it doesn’t a weird loading symbol pops up where my smooles are and when it finishes loading I have the same amount as I did before I watched the add. 😥 As I said I love 💖 this game but I would love it even more if you could please fix this glitch! ✓ I love it but...I love this game and I played it a long time ago and it was not as bad as it is now because ads have taken all the fun out of the game and it's gotten a lot harder than before because of the keys and free songs? There's hardly any there plus if kids are playing it the ways to get free s coins are not very good because the are requested games that are all for adults however they have made it challenging and fun to play so it's good me and my sister both play it and we are glad that they put panic at the disco and fall out boy songs in or people have made them so I like the game..Version: 8.3.3
✓ I have always loved this game but....I have been playing this ever since I got an iPhone in fact I played this game on a iPhone 4s anyways back to the point, my in game currency brought songs don’t always show up it’s odd but I like to play songs I actually know not amazing grace or raindrop prelude which I’m not sure if I even spelled it correctly. The point is I love this app and always will, I’m not sure if it’s a bug or if the game thinks I’m offline but last I checked I’m online so.... if I could get this fixed I would be happy Thanks.Version: 8.4.3

It's really hard to get smoola because you only get one at each new level and some for the achievements, so how are there gonna be fifty songs that dont cost ridiculous smoola that takes loads of saving up for? ✓ Love this app but the ads for VIP?I’ve been a VIP user of this app for years and I love it but it used to be 5 star. Now immediately after listening to a song I’ve uploaded( to see if it’s good enough to share) on Magic Piano I get targeted with Smule Sing or Smule Karaoke ads. I pay for VIP so I can choose what to watch and listen to and I’m annoyed this takes away from that. Annoying!!!.Version: 8.3.3
