✓ Great app - Feedback for publisher tooGreat App. Love it for keeping track of results on meet day. Also love being able to see how friends kids are doing. App is at its best when results are near real time. SUGGESTIONS: 1) One of the most annoying parts of being a swim parent is keeping track of when your kid is about to swim. Long gaps between events make it easy to lose track. Publisher should add a “reminder” feature that pops up a message when “favorite” swimmers are about to swim 2). Some events are now doing video. Grandparents who can’t travel would likely pay good money to catch a livestream. Especially if it is linked to the reminder feature. Same for parents who can’t attend. ✓ Swim ParentAs a swim parent I love meet mobile. When my swimmer travels to meets with the team, I can still follow the meet. So can the grandparents. I can see the psych sheets and heat sheets. We can also look back and see progress in past meets and past years. My swimmer likes to look and see their split times and analyze their swims. It is easy to use and very well organized. My swimmer swims year round, but even if they didn’t, this app is very well worth the small fee. I highly recommend it..Version: 4.2.6

✓ One ThingThis is a short review because I only want to say one thing. This is app only has one problem. Relays. They can get messed up a lot. Sometimes the splits can be uneven, and one swimmer will get an extremely fast time that just can’t be right, and someone else will get the extra time that was cut off the other person’s time. Also, it will sometimes take forever to upload times and sometimes it doesn’t show relay splits or the people who swam the relay..Version: 4.5.2
✓ Good Resource but a couple of problemsThis app is a great resource, but I have noticed that it has gotten much slower in the recent past. When I click on an event or swimmer, it ‘spins’ for a long time and uses a lot of battery. Also, the ‘heat place’ function doesn’t work. It is always the same number as the heat. If the swimmer is in heat 5, heat place reads 5 regardless of the actual placement in the heat..Version: 3.6.2

✓ Mostly good with some caveatsThe app is generally good with just a couple of bugs that have emerged recently. Often the grouping of results by age group in the event results screen seems to be failing. Also the page load times used to be much faster, but have recently slowed to a crawl. Swim England have been developing their own system that is free for users, meet mobile will need to up their game if they want to prevent meets using the free alternative to host results..Version: 3.9.0

✓ Great for timelines and heat/lane assignmentsWe’re in our 5th year of swim club. We mostly use this app during swim meets for the meet time line, as well as the heat/lane assignments. I will say that the app doesn’t always update in real time. Which I’m sure is more on the people running the swim meets than meet mobile. When we were total noobies, we made the mistake of leaving a meet during a 3 hour break and going by what events were marked as completed. We ended up missing an event, which was horrifying. Luckily, the officials let our kid swim her next event and didn’t scratch her....it was a valuable lesson..Version: 3.6.2

✓ Game changerSplits soon after a race is a game changer. I always take splits but now if I miss someone’s splits they are available. I love seeing how swimmers swim when I’m not at the session they are swimming. I also enjoy tracking swimmers I know from other teams. I can also analyze at home because I can pull up the results. ✓ New updateI have always loved this app, being a major swimmer. However, the new update is making me feel differently. The new update doesn’t allow you to see other swimmers in the even you’re competing in. I find this very frustrating and so do others. ✓ Hope USA swim has more appsThis is monopoly that one company has a mobile app in USA swim. Their app design/ operations have been changed but still have a room to improve. Recently I asked the subscription period extension due to COVID-19. No swim meet in 2020 in all USA, and I don’t know what else I can do with this app. Small money but they said they don’t extend my subscription. This is why I share my feedback. ✓ Good, but...The app is very useful but it should go the extra mile and allow a few more things. All the info is there to provide swimmer rankings by division, region, gender, race history, etc... I’m sure this wouldn’t even be that difficult a thing to implement but every competitive swimmer, parent, and coach would find it very useful..Version: 3.3.2
✓ Some suggestionsI think this app is great but some suggestions I have, is 1. to make it easier to search the meets, because now to get to the meet, you have to type the name of the meet perfectly, and 2. It has every swimmer on it, and it’s incredible how it shows the meet name, swimmers name, wether there was a disqualification, if they have completed it, their place, event no., heat no., and EVEN the lane they were swimming in! It is great for my family to see my times, and great for me to check in on my friends times. Well done, the amount of effort this app must have put into this is truly outstanding. It would be greatly appreciated if the app included time zones to verify when we actually need to be at a meet. PT, EST, etc. just a thought. ✓ Wonderful, except for one problemI just finished a 200y Freestyle, and my coach was showing me my 50-yard splits on her phone. I had never heard of an app that shows everything the heat sheet does, plus splits and places, so I asked her what it was called. She told me it was called Meet Mobile, so when I went home from my meet I got on my phone and downloaded it, and I now I love it! It is amazing how in-depth this app is, with everything it shows. However, there is just one problem which I hope gets fixed. When I go to the “Favorites” tab at the bottom of the screen, and then I press “Search for swimmers” underneath “Favorite Swimmers,” or “Search for teams” underneath “Favorite Teams,” and then I try searching for a swimmer/team, nothing shows up. Nothing even loads, it just shows nothing. To any developer who sees this, thanks so much for reading, and I hope you can find a way to solve the problem! :).Version: 4.2.1

However my App just got updated and I can no longer easily go from a favorite swimmers times to the Event overall i.e. after viewing my swimmer, the only way to see all the other swimmers times in his event is to go all the way back to ‘home’ then ‘event’ then find the event. Yes there are still some minor glitches, but the main issues I have had with the app; after talking with the support staff at meet mobile is not an issue with the app itself but with the meet managers submitting information to the app. If you are having similar issues with the app, it can be frustrating but I am happy to hear that it isn’t the app itself. This app used to be an amazing and quick way to look up placings,times, and splits; but somehow over the past two years it had gone down hill so hard. Constantly glitching, meets only being partially updated, clicking on one meet and being directed to a different one,etc. I am more than happy to change me review once these things are fixed but until then.
