✓ Works ok, has room to improveI really like its unlimited device model and it has article reader option for most articles. There are 2 improvement area: 1) more local news - we can get better local news from cbc, free!!! 2) investment data is very limited. Click an ETF ticker symbol in an article you’re reading inside the app, you can’t even see its top holdings/% of the fund, companies/sectors. Yahoo Finance gives us sector %, free!!!.Version: 7.6.2

This app does not honor that system-wide setting. iOS 13 has been beta for almost 8 months, what have you guys been doing all this time. ✓ Connecting to CanadaI moved to the USA 25 years ago. At the time, if I wanted to read the Globe I'd walk down to international news stand and pay $4.50 for one that was 3 days old. Couldn't be happier with the app although a couple of the old columnist are still too clever by half by which I mean pretentious. ✓ Good job GlobeJust thought I would provide an update since the previous one is a bit old. This app works great for me. This is one of the only Canadian news apps worth having on your iPhone. CBC News app was horrible comparatively. The content on this one loads quickly and is nicely laid out.You can close the adverts, adjust text size of the headlines and body and customize what news sections you want to see. Worth a try. I wish CBC and local papers like Vancouver Sun would take a page from these guys..Version: 2.0.7

The one annoyance is that the Globe has removed the Watchlist from its app. Each day I like to track my portfolio performance and have to search and add the Watchlist feature manually. I also enjoy being able to read off line on the bus or train. I think it is good that newspapers are moving their online content behind paywalls. If we come to believe that the whole digital world should be free without paying the providers of the content, then the quality of the content will decline, if not disappear. There are people working to make this publication appear. I do wish the app version included more or all of the print version. I do not think the movie reviews are here, and a good deal of the Saturday paper seems to be missing, from Style, etc. I also miss the special book review section, although that was cut from the print edition several years ago..Version: 2.6
