✓ StephanieThis app needs lots of further work. You cant type into the information box for the chart you require (with the ipad pop up typewriter) and see what your doing at the same time. When you go to type the box disappears - hello need to see what Im typing into!!!!! Makes this app almost impossible to use. As for how to edit any information into the chart - totally impossible to do. Please fix these very important problems. Also cant print straight from this app - you have to email it first then print - why!!! Very disappointed..Version: 1.0.1
✓ Limited functionality on iPadIs there any reason this program’s macOS version couldn’t run on iPad instead of limiting it to the iOS version? Perhaps the developer could make the macOS version free on iPad if someone purchases the macOS version. If not, then please at least add the graphic ephemeris to the iOS version, which would be easily viewable on a larger iPad screen. Maybe an iPadOS version is due? These limitations are so frustrating that I’m now writing my own astrology software that also incorporates Bernadette Brady’s predictive techniques..Version: 7.2.2
✓ Not worth it 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼I thought this app would be worth the investment since i see professional astrologers use the desktop version all the time. nope. it s not worth the purchase. it only allows you to create three charts. it’s not user friendly at all. prepare to be confused and taken on never ending loops just to figure out how to create a natal chart. and when u finally create it, more than half the interpretations are not available. it also only allows you to create three charts and if you want more you’ll have to keep erasing and replacing charts. i’m not sure how they thought this app is worth the price. time passages and astro future are much much better but i hope astro gold improves this app too..Version: v7.0.1

✓ Unreliable dataHaving used solar fire for many years, I am rather dismayed about the quality of this app. The coordinates for my birth charts are wrong, the time for my solar return chart is wrong. It looks nice but Esoteric Tech needs to put in a lot more work. Even as a SolarFire fan sadly I cannot recommend this app..Version: 1.0.10
✓ Program freezes on transit reportsWould be great but seriously to pay over $30 for an app that continually freezes on transit reports when you click the arrow for details is not acceptable. Fix it and you get 5 stars - leave it and I could at best give this a 2.Version: 3.1

✓ Unintuitive design and limited descriptionsThe features are buried in weird places, and the interface is not obvious what you are doing. The transit descriptions are unenlightening at best. I can see some use for pro astrologers but I expect more in the way of interface design and Richness of descriptions and reporting. ✓ So basicThis software doesn't make much sense to me in the ways of what is available and what is not. Some really basic things are not available -like displaying eclipses- while there are so many systems to work with. ✓ The new update made the transit list report worse.Now when I’m trying to look at the transit listing the date never lines up correctly. For example, if I want to look at transits from February 7th 2022 it will switch to February 8th. Or If I switch it to March, it will show April, if i switch the year to 2017 it will show 2018. Also the transits never start on the day i want it to start on instead if I say February 6th it will start on the 4th on the actual transit list option. After 20 minutes of trying to work the app I got frustrated and deleted the app. I emailed the company to request a refund because I was unhappy and not going to continue to use the product. ✓ A hug bug and worseI have been a loyal customer of Solar Fire, the original maker of this App for many years, since the beginning when it was located in Adelaide, Australia. However to my horror I discovered there is a bug in the way this program calculates Secondary Progressions. And it is a huge bug. At first I thought it could not be true, but it is there, I've checked and double checked and I have had Astrologer friends check too. I was advised by an online Reviewer to go online to calculate my progressed Ascendant using an alternative program ... which I did ... and this confirmed there is definitely a bug. However, unfortunately, when I contacted the Company, the technical person refused to admit there was a problem in the program, rather he blamed me for not understanding how progressed Ascendants are calculated... very technical I might add. After exaperated communications, and looking up my Astrology text books at the same time I turned to an independent person online for help who wrote to the Company, I then received an angry email from the Company Director acusing me of libel! I could not believe it. I have the email as evidence. One example in the program ... my daughter's progressed Ascendant has moved 11 degrees in 38 years and mine is similarly slow. I have checked many of the charts I have saved and the problem continued, but different issues for each chart I checked. Another friend the same age as me who was born in the same city and lives at the same latitude as me now has his pAscendant leaping ahead 2 degrees a year, it is skipping forward too fast, and I have observed the SP calculations pacing backwards and forwards in some cases. There are more details but I won't go into them here. The first bug I uncovered in the App was in the progressed Secondary Ascendant calculations. I found when I first purchased the App some time ago now. My pAsc was calculated as Leo which is impossible for natal Capricorn Rising. So I contacted the Company, but because there could be no argument with this impossibility ... ... it was fixed but unfortunately there remain bugs in the program which have not all been corrected. So it was evident from the beginning that there were problems. I'm trusting my nature, natal Venus in Leo. I've been very patient. I accept bugs are normal in programs and I've communicated this fact to the Company. But when the maker of the program refused to accept there were bugs, and accusers me, a loyal customer of many years of libel for pointing it out ... that is worse tham problematic! I could not believe it. The rest of the App I adore, but this bug is not acceptable and it is truly problematic. It needs to be fixed. It would help loyal customers if the Company trusted its customers and treated them with more respect ... the attitude ... was horrible. I am shocked, I feel hurt and powerless. It is unfortunate this Company does not trust its loyal customers. It does not accept a bug exists and worse, it refuses to fix the bug. Then to add salt to the wound, it has accused me of libel for contacting others seeking help and for pointing out there is, in fact, a bug in the program! A major bug. Needless to say, I'm looking for an alternative reeling ... I cannot believe this has happened..Version: 5.1.2
✓ Major glitches in latest versionAs of 11/21 update, in transit reports aspect interpretations incorrectly conflate oppositions for conjunctions, trines for squares, sextiles for semi-squares, etc. Other commenters have highlighted similarly significant errors. ✓ Tech Support Needed - Transits showing incorrectlyUsually the app works great, then today I noticed that all conjunctions were showing as oppositions in the reports and sextiles were showing as semisquares. ✓ DO NOT SPEND THE MONEYI had high hopes for this app especially at $40... with in app purchases to actually see anything helpful. So I pay for a compatibility report and it gives a generated chart and report. BUT THE CHART AND REPORT DONT MATCH!!! I tried a number of times to use the app for help and it always says can't read something or other, there is no way to get a hold of anyone it's annoying and a rip off! You can get a better more comprehensive report for free on line THAT ACTUALLY MATCHES! What a rip off! I'd give zero stars if that was possible.Version: 7.3.2

✓ Shocked at how recommended this isLike the title says, I’m shocked at how many articles online recommend astrogold. I don’t think I’ve ever used a worse app for astrology. The interface is terrible. It doesn’t do anything special or unique enough for me to put up with the horrible organization.
