✓ What Happened?I’ve used this app for years. Last month everything was great. Today, I have no idea how to add an expense in the app on my iPad. On my iPhone, there’s a + at the bottom of the screen. For some reason, it’s no longer there on my iPad so I’m unable to add today’s expense. HELP! I’m changing to five stars. ✓ Excellent for logging my business expensesI love that apps like this exist as they make logging my income (invoices out) and expenses (invoices in) very quick and easy. Plus it makes doing it as I go along very simple so there is no mad rush when my tax return needs filing. My only criticisms of the app are that the financial year in the UK is not from April to March (but that is very quickly fixed in Excel) and that categories are only listed alphabetically. It would speed up my inputting of new expenses if I could manually order the list. At the moment my work around is to put the letter a at the start of my most used categories, e.g. aComputer Hardware, aSoftware etc. Also, sub categories would be great but I am also doing this by naming them, e.g. Travel Bus, Travel Taxi, Travel Train..Version: 4.6.1

Especially like that categories can be customized and the report graphics are great. Much better fit for my ‘accounting’ needs than more expensive software. This app is turning out to be just what I needed. One thing that is missing though is the totals by category which would be more useful than the pie chart representation. 6/9/12. I had to take away one star until I can figure out how to get the data entered in the app on my iPhone to sync with my iPad. Will be a headache to have to manually duplicate the entries and I just read a review that stated the backup you can email to yourself only includes a total which seems useless as far as a backup is concerned. Some glitches, like in the recurring expenses you can't edit the debit date once you've already set it. You have to delete the recurring expense and re enter it with the correct date. The app allows me to that plus I am able to track each individual bill by setting them up additional accounts. If I stayed with YNAB I would have had to pay annually $80. All I wanted was budgeting software that allows me to keep track of my income and expenses in a easy to understand format.
