✓ Love it, but need updates.It would be nice to have a way to level the writing so when it’s finished it won’t be looking like writings are made while the person was drunk. It would also be nice to have crayon colors to erase and write things to eliminate previous work, while using the same template. More options on are needed to be more innovative. ✓ OkThis app used to be amazing. You could easily edit things and it had a lot of features. It still has a lot of features but now nearly every feature on it requires a membership. $60 per year or $10 per month is pretty pricey considering I only use this app every couple of months to edit a photo. I now can’t use it without a membership. This isn’t worth it if you’re not constantly editing photos..Version: 7.4
✓ Sad day for this appI have used this app for years to create all sorts of different collages for memories, and LOVED IT. There were options to “buy” extras before, but the core function of the app was free. I’ve literally never used another app. However, today I opened “BeFunky” to create a collage of my family’s summer pictures and had a totally different experience. Not only have they WAY overly complicated the app but I now have to “upgrade to BeFunky Plus” to use any of the features, change the collage layouts, use a filter, anything. I will be in search for a new app… The creators of this app have obviously become greedy..Version: 7.1
✓ UpdateI’m honestly not happy with the filters. I loved the older version. All the filters I loved to use to do simple edits, gone. It used to be in a line where you could have the filters that you used in a row. It’s a pain to have to go through each specific filter type for only like at most 3 if that, filters you can use before having to purchase the subscription. I will say though it nice you can zoom in and it’s easier and do the certain areas for filters. If anything bring back afew of the older filters so photos I have that I want to re-edit I can use them..Version: 7.1

✓ Easy to uglify, hard to stylizeLike most photo tweak apps, this one will help you destroy any picture, add text that is annoyingly tilted zero point five degrees, no matter how hard you try to keep it horizontal after resizing it with your not-precise finger tools, and then pick one of a zillion craptacular frame or pattern designs and other scrawly bits and fonts. With effort, you can try out some idea and have it come out not entirely awful, though booting up your computer is likely faster..Version: 5.9.8

✓ New designI like BeFunky, don’t get me wrong. It’s a good app. I made a lot of stuff with the app and for a long time it’s been my go to app for collages. Then they changed. Now I’m cool with change, it’s part of I get that. However, when you have really cool collage stuff and you say it’s only for the people that pay a subscription, that I’m not cool with. And there is no way I’m going to pay to make collages. I mean shouldn’t all the templates be free for everyone to use? Regardless if they are a plus member or not? Okay okay, rant over.Version: 7.0
✓ They ruined itI used to love this app, used it a lot for basic collage making. The update has totally ruined it. What was once a user friendly app is now horrendous. It’s a real shame as it was one of my most used apps and now I’ll probably end up deleting. As a software developer myself I really struggle to see who though these changes were a good idea..Version: 7.3

✓ USED TO BE the best app 😒I’ve had this app for years and *previously* I absolutely loved it, and used it for all of my pro photography, but since they revamped it and made most of the beneficial features usable only if you pay, this app is worthless now. The ease of using the free features is gone, they don’t even translate right now, and I’m so sad because it was my go -to, but now it’s just another money scam. ✓ Was good now defunct on my deviceThe new update is ‘not compatible with my device’ an iPhone 6sPlus running the latest IOS. The update notice will not go away. I’ll find an alternative app to delete this one to get rid of that. It’s all very well improving your app but you’re ignoring a large amount of previously faithful users who have no intention of continuously buying the latest phones in the current financial climate. ✓ Great app but gone capitalistAn amazing app I’ve used for years but recently they’ve started charging for features that used to be free. Old features were renamed, with their old names going to less good versions of what they once were. Still a great app and far superior to most but disappointed by this change. Used to love it as all was free. Still love it but can’t use it the same.Version: 7.4
✓ Beyond recognitionOpened the BeFunky app today to create a collage for my blog and it was beyond recognition. Too many changes. You need a PHD to figure it out. I think they’ve made a big mistake and am looking for a different app that is similar to what this app use to be with grid and editing options! This is AWFUL! Let me repeat, AWFUL!.. and I’m not in the mood to figure it out! Or, Pay whatever fees are associated. What was once a WYSIWYG APP is now an abomination! BeFunky BeGone! Update: Changed to PicCollage which has the basic grids I use and am figuring it out…much simpler than trying to try and interpret the new BeFunky revisions!.Version: 7.1
✓ Used to be goodThis app was my good to for fixing lighting and adding cool effects. Since the recent updates it’s gone down hill and 99% of everything is locked behind a paywall. Uninstalling and moving on..Version: 7.3
✓ Be FunkyBe funky is a brilliant app to edit your photos. The colours are very bright or dull depending on the colour you pick. Also you can make pic collages. The only thing I don’t like is the way they word the different fonts and edits. I would recommend this but not to people who have trouble with reading or with dyslexia.Version: 6.2.7
✓ AvoidCan’t believe this developer has created a version that only those privileged with some of the latest chips can use. My device supports iOS 15, but doesn’t have the chip. Really bad as last version worked fine. Why are these companies so insistent on creating apps only for those with the latest tech?!? Update following Dev feedback: Phone supports latest iOS. I have 15.5. You’ve designed your software to only work with specific chips, what’s more to say? You’ve created a version for the privileged!! Update 2: The download new version option won’t go away and interrupts other apps from downloading. This is a royal messup!!! ✓ Good editor, needs tweaks for IOS small screensWorks good for generally making memes and captions on photos. It’s a good editor but could be better. Two pet peeves I have about this app are: cropping photos, the top is directly in the place of Apple’s irritating pull down menu, you have to crop the bottom of a photo and move the crop space down, and then place the top of crop lines on the photo where you want them. It’s just an irritating extra step that does not need to be. It’s impossible to do the top without pulling down this iOS menu. And text alignment, this could be fixed if you could move the top crop edges without actually touching the dots. And two; This app is absolutely impossible to get text to align horizontally again if you touch or resize it. You need a feature that snaps text to horizontal alignment when its moved close to horizontal. Other editor apps have this feature. But the ease of BeFunky makes it my go-to app if I need to make a caption on a picture in a real quick in the middle of a conversation. It works well, but I think these two things could help it be a lot better..Version: 6.3.2
✓ Download / Upgrade LoopThe new upgrade isn't supported on my iPhone model. Fine. But what I've gotten for a month+ is a prompt when I try to upgrade that asks 'download latest compatible version'. The thing is I click 'Yes' and then all it does is ask me the same question 4 more times, ultimately doing nothing. When the above series of 5 prompts does nothing it then aborts the overall app upgrade process for ALL my other apps. (I upgrade manually.) VERY annoying. Been a user for years, and it's been a great tool. But now? I can't see keeping it if you aren't supporting the ability to lock-in my version as the prompts advertise. Also, a -2 stars to the Apple App market for allowing updates to apps that won't update on slightly earlier iPhone models that are still considered completely legit. That and another -8 stars for building an update process that allows the above described prompt to abort all other app updates. 100% atrocious..Version: 7.3
✓ Not as great as I was led to believeEither it doesn’t fit my iPad well or I am not able to figure out how to get it to go into the landscape mode rather than staying in the vertical mode. Annoying. And I supposedly upgraded to the BeFunky Pro but now am learning that those features don’t work on the iPad. And when I switched to my laptop their was a monthly fee, not a one time fee. I felt led on. I was looking for the cartoonization feature, which the pro led me to believe was available on the iPad, though customer service says it isn’t. Again, not something I made up. Hmmm. ✓ App is charging to make collages once you upgradeI did a regular update for the app thinking I was just doing it to fix bugs and current crashes. My oh my I was in for a rude awakening. They changed everything about the app. You can’t even create a regular collage. It’s very confusing and You have to pay for everything. I’ve had this app for yearssssss! Today we will part ways. I’ll be dam if I pay to collage my pics. They don’t give you an option for nothing free. So if you have the old app version that Is a white logo don’t upgrade or you’ll be wasting your time. ✓ Latest Updates - Money GreedyI have been using this app for YEARS and they have disabled access to the most basic features like putting two images side by side, and added them to their premium version you have to pay for. Completely agree with other reviews - they have tried to monetise everything about this app in the latest update and thus removing the need for me to have this any longer. After years of me telling friends and family about it, I’ll be deleting it and finding another free app..Version: 7.1

✓ Loved it….past tenseI have had this app for YEARS!! Now I don’t use it at all. It’s way too complicated now, hard to navigate and all the free features are gone. Everything was free and now you can’t use any basic filter without signing up to register and pay and the ease of use is long gone. Time for a new app..Version: 7.3
