✓ Just what every songwriter needs!I find this the best tool for writing my songs! It has everything I need for a basic band session. I just struggle to import audio for song regions. I click on the ‘Link Audio’ and all that comes up it’s a blank-lined page, titled ‘Select File’. Can anyone help out with this?.Version: 3.4
✓ Changes chords when out of editHi I find this app really great as it’s everything I need when playing , the only thing which I found a slight let down was in editing if you put in Abm when you come out it changes the chord to something else ? ✓ (:I love this app, I'm fourteen and I write songs as I LOVE music. i play guitar and piano and im learning uke (all without lessons) plus I sing (with lessons). I hate people finding out that I write songs cause then all my friends are like 'let me hear one, let me hear one' but I love that this app has a 6 digit PASSCODE!!!! and I like how you can organize them into folders and that I can record myself. ✓ ***EASILY THE BEST SONGWRITING APP***THIS IS AN AMAZING APP. I think it's crazy when people write reviews that are suggestions or when they haven't even really experienced the app for themselves. Use the app and then write a real review. Alright I'll get off my high horse and on to the business at hand. I didn't use this app for very long. Nope...it only took a few minutes for me to realize that I had to have the full app. It impressed me that much. It is a true songwriter's dream. This is the app I have been searching for as someone who has written in the neighborhood of 75 songs. All the pieces that a writer needs are there. Folders? Check. Song Sections? Check. Awesome rhyming dictionary? Check. The ability to rearrange Song Sections? Yep. The ability to record? Check. The ability to add chords? Check. Different ways to send a song? Yep. And yet they keep adding & improving. Now they have added transpose, Nashville Numbers, and even more thoughtful touches. Simple and intuitive? Absolutely!!! There are so many simple things as well. Like the song title formatted in bold. Like always starting the next line in CAPS. Simple details like this make great apps. If you want to save some time just skip this and buy the full version. As I said before "THIS IS A GREAT APP!" Try this one and YOU WILL BUY THE FULL VERSION. You won't regret it. ✓ BestAppEver!I've always wanted to be a song writer and I was searching through apps and came upon yours. This app gives you a choice of fonts to write with and the size. It's genius! I especially like how you can choose the song to be either in progress or complete. Make more apps that could be useful like this one, I recommend this one. Great job, awesome idea! ✓ Transformative!I’m only an amateur, but crikey this has changed my writing for good. Can’t believe how quick and easy it now is to write and outline a song. I’m not interested in the bells and whistles from a lot of song-creation apps. I’m interested in the writing, structure and some first ideas around melodies and chords, so this is, well, my idea of heaven. One tiny blip is at the start of recording a section (genius idea) the screen jumps. I’m sure you’re on it. Also, am I missing something but I’d like to be able to move sections, not just copy but actually move. Or else insert a section in the middle not just the end. Minor points, probably user error, I’ll keep playing. Lastly, thank you, thank you. Can’t begin to articulate how happy this is making me. Hugs all round for the developers. Thanks guys..Version: 3.4
✓ Straightforward and CleanHaven't run into any problems so far. I just downloaded the app today, though. It's the cleanest and most straightforward songwriting app I've found yet. The chord insert feature is incredibly handy. I wish the rhyming dictionary and thesaurus could be viewed offline, though. Recording sections works well. It'd be nice to be able to trim the audio though so I could cut out the little bit of rustling around at the beginning of each recording, but I'm just a perfectionist. I also wish I could hide the toolbar at the bottom when in view mode. It's not too big of a deal, it'd just look a bit nicer and more minimalist. Overall, the app does what it says it does. Bravo! Maybe in the future, we can expect speech to text lyric writing? Ooh, or maybe a chord identifying feature using the built in mic?.Version: 2.3.7

However, I usually don't use the tab function, because it's rather difficult to use; I would recommend the developer to make it easier to handle at the fingertip. Also why not be able to look at your songs while you record them I've been writing and singing since I was four back then my songs were terrible I mean come on I was four my songs and my voice is professional since 8 to 14. I've been knowing the meaning behind lyrics since I was 7 years old! I put my everything into my music I relate to it and I have to feel the emotions when I sing it. ✓ Great SongWriting App For BeginnersI've had this app for about 3 months now. Not yet have I run into any problems, it's great for beginners like me. I've looked at similar apps and compared them. This app was much more cleaner, and the extra settings (One of my favorites is Night Mode) really almost customize the app to not only make your songs seem more like yours, but the app itself too. Now, I do have an idea, that most likely won't happen, but customer input is always good. My idea would be a song sharing forum-like feature, where you can get advice from fellow songwriters on your songs. The forums would have categories based upon genre, and subcategories based upon mixed-genre songs (ex. Pop Rock, Power Pop, Speed Metal, Pop Country, etc.). Altogether, I personally do love this app. And encourage you developers possibly reading this (Who knows?), continue to make this app what it stands for, and refine it until you have satisfaction of a majority of the customers, it's what App Updates and Bug Fixes are kind of about. Well, I'm getting off topic. To sum it up, great app, I anticipate another update..Version: 3.0.1

Not only can you write the lyrics down in the section it belongs in - (verse, chorus) - you can record that section and at the top you can record the whole song!!! It’s amazing and I love it!!! Even though you can only create 5 songs, once I’ve written and recorded it on this app, I can record it fully in my recording studio and print out the lyrics or something like that, then you can delete it from the app so you can create more!
